"Yes, dad, everything is fine," Aubrey said in the general direction of the phone, which was currently on speaker. "I'm sorry I didn't call you last night, but it was late when we finished getting everything moved into the house."

"Do you need help getting unpacked?" her father's voice came from the phone.

"No, it's not like I have that much to unpack," the brunette assured him as she sat one of her suitcases on the couch and unzipped it, looking for something to wear. "I'm gonna take it easy today, focus on getting clothes and necessities unpacked. Maybe make a trip to the grocery store. I don't have to start the new job for another nine days, so I've got time to get settled in."

As Aubrey listened to her dad remind her for the billionth time to keep her doors locked and not go out alone at night and a dozen other things she didn't need to be told, the brunette pulled off the long t-shirt that she'd slept in, leaving her topless. She picked up a white bikini top and put it on, covering her breasts and tying the strings. She liked to wear tops that showed off the floral tattoo that covered most of her left arm, though she guessed that she would probably get her share of looks in the suburban neighborhood that she had just moved into.

"I promise, dad," she answered in response to her father's last comment. "I'll call you later, okay? Love you," she said as she tied her hair up with a colorful bandana that she knew would go well with the colors of her tattoo.

Hearing the line go dead, Aubrey walked across the room wearing just the bikini top, the bandana and a pair of loose gym shorts. After hanging up the receiver on her phone, the brunette walked back over to the open suitcase and pulled out a pair of faded jeans. She stripped her shorts off, oblivious to the fact that the curtains on the living room windows were open. She wasn't wearing any panties, and didn't bother putting any on before slipping into the blue jeans.

Aubrey grabbed her large coffee cup from the kitchen counter and refilled it before making her way to the front door. Stepping barefoot out onto the front porch, Aubrey smiled at the warmth of the sun on her skin and the gently breeze that blew across the green grass of her new yard. She loved the neighborhood that she'd chosen. It was definitely a contrast to her last neighborhood, which was extremely urban and extremely run down.

Taking a seat on the sidewalk in front of the house, Aubrey crossed her legs indian style and sipped from her coffee cup, enjoying the late morning and the quiet surroundings. She glanced to the house to the right of her own, noticing an attractive blond coming out. She had seen the girl the night before while she was moving in, but hadn't had a chance to talk to her.

"Hi," she said, lifting a hand to wave at the girl.

“100 channels and nothing on” Sophie sighed to herself as she turned off the television before sending a text message to James; they had been dating for a year and she had moved into his house 6 months ago. She knew he wouldn’t reply until later that night, “stupid business meetings”. James’ healthy income meant that Sophie lived comfortably; spending her spare time shopping and she didn’t have to work. Unfortunately it also meant that James was often away for several days at a time travelling the country on business trips, most recently he had left two days ago and wasn’t due back until early next week.
Many would be envious of Sophie’s lifestyle but she was bored “nothing exciting ever happens in this neighbourhood” she thought to herself. She had noticed the night before that someone was moving into the place next door but didn’t pay too much attention, “probably another elderly couple” she guessed at the time.

Desperate for something to do Sophie remembered her internet order from last week, thinking that it should have arrived by now. She briefly brushed her blonde hair so that it framed her face neatly before stepping outside and heading towards the mailbox. The sun was warm on her skin, Sophie smiled with delight pulling the small package she had been waiting for (as well as some junk mail and a bill) from the mailbox. “Yes!” she exclaimed. Turning back towards the front door she noticed a brunette girl sitting on the sidewalk, Sophie’s’ cheeks turned a light shade of pink as the girl waved at her saying “hi”.

“uhhh hey” Sophie replied a few moments later. Sophie looked the girl over and was taken aback by her tattooed arm. The girl was very pretty and colourful, just like her arm. Tattoos, body piercings and the like were quite foreign to Sophie; she only ever had her ears pierced and that was when she was a young girl. Sophie’s line of sight moved from the girls arm as she realised the brunette was wearing a bikini top. Sophie considered how confident the girl must be to wear something like that out on the sidewalk. Sophie suddenly realised she was still looking at the girls chest and quickly snapped her eyes back to the brunettes face; Sophie swallowed before she spoke again “So you just moved in?”
“Great work Sherlock” she thought to herself realising the answer was obvious.

"Yep, last night actually," Aubrey answered as she smiled up at the pretty blond. "Name's Aubrey, Aubrey Masters," she added, brushing some hair from her eyes. The girl seemed a little taken back, perhaps by the fact that the brunette had engaged her in conversation, or perhaps by Aubrey's appearance. Between the tattoos and the bikini top, the brunette decided she couldn't blame the girl. She probably wouldn't be the first neighbor to do a double take.

"Do you live alone?" she asked the other girl as she motioned toward the house that she had come out of.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Sophie" she replied. Sophie tried to appear comfortable but shifted awkawardly on her feet. These days when she met new people it was usually at a business lunch or dinner, formalities were exchanged with a limp shake of the hand, a forced smile and a fake compliment. "Do something, say something!" sophie said to herself, unsure of what to say next she was relieved when Aubrey broke the brief silence. "Do you live alone?"
"No, I live with my boyfriend James" Sophie said turning to her house as she spoke. Turning back to the brunette Sophie continued "though I suppose you could say I live alone, seems like he is never around". The brunette probably had a muscle bound tattooed boyfriend who was always around; Sophie immeadiately tried to justify her situation "He's always travelling for work, some business advisory thing, its great (she lied), he earns good money and is only away a week or so every month".
"What does your husband do?" Sophie asked, trying to get more information about the brunette before realising her question could have come across as snobby.

As she listened to Sophie talk about her boyfriend and his job, Aubrey found herself attracted to the girl. It might have simply been the blond's friendly smile and cute dimples, or the almost palpable shyness she seemed to exude. And hearing that Sophie's boyfriend was gone out of town frequently was like a red flag waving in front of the brunette's face. Did she detect a hint of loneliness in the girl's voice?

"What does your husband do?" Sophie asked, turning the conversation around to Aubrey.

"Oh, no husband," she replied lifting her left hand up to show that she wasn't wearing a ring. "No boyfriend either, just me. I left him behind when I moved here. He wasn't really happy about it, but it was the best thing for both of us."

Aubrey chose not to elaborate, not really wanting to talk about her relationship, or the reasons she had chosen to walk away from it. It wasn't that she was shy or that it was too painful, but she thought sharing too much too fast might scare away Sophie. There was a short, but uncomfortable silence as the brunette took a long sip from her coffee cup.

"So, the neighborhood seems really nice," she finally said, looking down the street. "Have you lived here very long?"

Sophie was suprised to hear that Aubrey had chosen to leave her relationship behind when moving to the new town; it sure was admirable though; it seemed like the brunette knew what she wanted. Would take her long to find a new hunky boyfriend anyway, not with her confidence or good looks...or smooth skin, striking features, gorgeous face, seductive smile and that body...damn...those breasts, only held back by the thin layer of her bikini top. Sophie's mind had wandered again.

"So, the neighborhood seems really nice....Have you lived here very long?"

"Only about 5 or 6 months" Sophie glanced around her "its a great place but very quiet, nothing exciting really happens here". Sophie chuckled to herself "You moving here is the most excitement I...the neighbourhood has had all week". Sophie blushed, looking down at herself, pretending to brush an imaginary hair from her dress.

"Well, hopefully I won't rock the neighborhood boat too much," Aubrey responded, letting the tip of her tongue brush against her small, thin lip ring before she continued. The lip ring was her newest piercing and she still had a habit of playing with it sometimes. "I could use a little peace and quiet, some green grass, fresh air..." her voice trailed off as she sat her coffee cup down and looked back up at the pretty blond.

"You know, if you don't already have plans for dinner tonight, you could come by and keep me company," the brunette suggested, smiling. "I need to sharpen my cooking skills. You don't mind being a guinea pig, do you Sophie?"

"Really? I'd love too" Sophie said enthusiastically before toning down her excitement "I mean I did have some other things planned but I'll reschedule them...so sure thing, I'll be your guinea pig tonight".
A time was agreed on for later that evening before Sophie excused herself and walked back up the driveway, turning back around and offering a quick wave to Aubrey before going inside.
Sophie was excited and nervous, she had never hung out with someone like Aubrey before, she always expected people with tattoos and piercings to be loud and abrasive but Aubrey wasnt, she was softly spoken and very polite; sure their chat was only brief but Sophie enjoyed it.

Sophie lounged on her bed and spent the rest of the afternoon pondering on what to wear and what to bring. She understood it was a casual get together but it didnt stop her from fussing over her appearance.

Aubrey finished her coffee after Sophie went back inside, content to just sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the late morning. When she finally did uncross her legs and stand up, coffee cup dangling from her finger, the sun had moved high into the sky and the suburban neighborhood had slowly become alive with activity. As she started to turn back toward her front door, she noticed her neighbor directly across the street, an elderly man, pruning the rose bushes on the side of his house. A moment later a middle aged woman with her hair in a long braid strolled past walking a cocker. It was all so perfectly mundane, she smiled to herself before walking back into the house. Mundane and perfect.

Aubrey spent the next couple of hours unpacking as many of her boxes as she could, focusing primarily on kitchen items she would need for later, and clothes which she seemed to have an near inexhaustible supply. Eventually she decided she needed to put an end to the unpacking so that she could go to the grocery and pick up something for supper.

The trip to the grocery was, for the most part, uneventful. As expected, she got a few sidelong glances from her new neighbors, either because of her tattoos or her piercings, or both, but it didn't bother her. She also got more than her share of appreciative looks from men as she shopped, which made her feel good. And sexy. When she got home, she put the groceries in the kitchen and headed to the bathroom, deciding to take a shower before she started cooking.

As Aubrey stood beneath the hot spray from the shower head, rubbing the lavender scented body wash over her arms and shoulders, she found herself thinking about the way some of the men at the grocery had stared at her, the way they'd checked out her ass as she walked, or tried to look down her blouse when she would lean forward. The more she thought about it, the more aroused she became, and soon her hands were rubbing body wash over her breasts, her nipples swelling. By the time she slipped a hand down between her legs and began to stroke her clit, her thoughts had turned from the men at the grocery to her new neighbor, Sophie.

The brunette found herself imagining kissing Sophie's soft lips, and running her fingers through the blond's long tresses, pulling her mouth closer. The fantasy quickly escalated and a few moments later, Aubrey was fingering herself to a quick and intense orgasm that left her feeling satisfied and content. She finished her shower and then threw a towel on before heading back to the kitchen.

Aubrey nearly panicked when she saw the time on the microwave. It was almost time for Sophie to come over and she hadn't even started cooking. Chastising herself for spending so much time in the shower, she began pulling pans and cooking utensils out of the drawers and cabinets. Soon she had food in the pans and decided she could take a few minutes to go get dressed, which of course was just when she heard the doorbell ring...

After modeling several outfit choices in front of the mirror Sophie decided on a simple black strapless dress. It was one of Sophies' favourites, form fitting and sexy without being slutty; it was an all rounder that could be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Sophie stepped into a pair of black heels; turning her back to the mirror she smiled as she checked out her reflection over her shoulder; the length of the dress and the heels made her legs and butt look great. Sophie was proud to see the results of the many spin classes she attended being accentuated by her chosen outfit.
Sophie plugged in her GHD and applied some mascara before straightening her hair which always turned it a more platinum than golden blonde.
A simple bracelet and the look was complete, posing once more in front of the mirror acheiving the 'I havent gone to any effort' style when she really had.
"Looking good for my date tonight" Sophie smirked before quickly realising what she had said; coming back to reality she looked at the clock, she rushed downstairs to the small cellar room and scanned over a few bottles; Sophie had no idea of brands or labelling when it came to wine and champagne, they all tasted pretty good to her; she picked a bottle of something that had a fancy sounding french name and rushed out the door.
Her pulse and breatheing quickened as she approached her neighbours front door. She could faintly hear some clattering from inside; taking a deep breath in an effort to compose herself Sophie pressed the doorbell.

Holding the towel against her chest to keep it from falling off, Aubrey opened the door with her other hand, "Hey, come on in." Aubrey stepped back to let Sophie pass through the doorway, then quickly shut the door behind her. "I'm running really late. You can have a seat on the couch. I'm just gonna get dressed and I'll be right back."

After ushering the attractive blond into the living room, Aubrey turned and started toward her bedroom. She felt ridiculous for letting the time get away from her. Some host I am, she thought to herself.

"Oh, by the way...you look amazing in that dress, Sophie," Aubrey said, stopping at the bedroom door to turn back and compliment her new neighbor. She flashed the blond a quick smile and then turned and stepped into the bedroom. As she reached for the door, swinging it partially closed, the brunette let the towel fall from her body.

Aubrey emerged from the bedroom a few minutes later, wearing a pair of ultra tight, black pants and a sexy lavender colored sleeveless shirt that buttoned in front. She was still barefoot, and padded quickly across the floor to where Sophie was sitting. "You didn't have to bring anything, but thank you," Aubrey said as she leaned down and kissed Sophie on the cheek, then picked up the bottle of wine she'd brought and carried it to the kitchen.

Sophie brushed a few strands of hair from her face as she heard the door open; as she opened her mouth to speak she was quickly silenced by the image that greeted her. It was a sensory overload, the scent of lavender bodywash filled her nostrils as she took in the vision before her.

The Brunette greeted her wearing nothing but a smile and a towell, her smooth white skin was dotted with small beads of water which made her colourful tattoos seem brighter.

Sophie was invited in and couldn't say or do anything but smile at Aubrey as she walked past her into the living room and took a seat on the couch. She couldnt take her eyes off Aubrey, watching her move down the hallway, the distance giving Sophie an overall view. The towell was a tease, giving away a cloaked outline of Aubreys curves but no intimate details. Sophies eyes scanned down beyond the towell to Aubreys legs.

"Oh, by the way...you look amazing in that dress, Sophie,"

Sophie quickly looked up to see the brunette smiling at her, hoping that she wasnt caught checking her out. "Oh....thankyou.....you too" Sophie blushed, quickly realising the meaning behind her comment even though she did think Aubrey looked amazing in that towell.

Sophie noticed the door to Aubreys room hadnt fully closed and could make out a glimpse of the towell falling before a fleeting view of Aubreys naked body, Sophie gasped, taking a breath in, she wasnt sure of what she had just seen, it was so minimal and so quick; it frustrated Sophie further as she imagined the brunette getting changed.

It didnt seem very long before the door was opened and Aubrey made her way back towards the lounge. Sophie leaned up and closed her eyes as Aubrey kissed her cheek, the feeling made Sophies skin tingle.

"Oh its no problem...I uh..wasnt sure wasnt sure what to bring" Sophie said as she followed Aubrey into the kitchen, leaning on one of the counters "so....what can I do to help?" she asked, flashing the brunette a smile.

"You just sit there and relax while I check on some things in the kitchen," Aubrey instructed as she stepped lightly around the couch. "I'll get some glasses for the wine, too."

"I hope you like fish," Aubrey called from the kitchen as she lifted the two small portions of sea bass and checked the color on the bottom. Needs a couple of more minutes, she thought to herself as she turned her attention to the asparagus and the wild rice. The asparagus was done and the rice would be ready just about the time the bass was.

Time for a glass of wine, she decided popping open the bottle and filling two glasses. Aubrey returned to the living room, glasses in hand and slid down onto the couch next to her guest. "So, what do you do for a living, Sophie?" the brunette asked as she handed the blond one of the glasses.

"mmmmm, smells delicious" Sophie cooed, following the brunettes instructions she sunk into the couch leaning against the arm rest.

"Oh this and that....." Sophie considered her answer "...im actually in between jobs at the moment" she murmured taking a large sip of her wine.

"How about you miss Masters..." Sophie put the focus back onto Aubrey "what do you do? Have you moved here for work?" taking another sip.

Sophie wasn't sure where to look, she found herself getting lost in the Brunettes eyes, but turning her gaze to the pretty girls colourful ink would do the same thing. Sophies gaze would take in Aubreys neckline, her chest, her arms and her waist before looking around the room to detract from her staring at the girls features. Sophie momentarily convinced herself that she wasnt necessarily 'checking out' the girl sat next to her, she was just taken by her striking features.

"I'm actually in radio," Aubrey answered with a smile. "I was offered a new job here at one of the local stations, WKLL, Killer Rock." She said the last part in an exaggerated voice, like one of those obnoxious radio DJ's.

"I needed a fresh start, and this seemed like a nice place to live," she added, still hesitating to get too deep into her reasons or her past. As the brunette looked up at her neighbor she found her thoughts drifting back to the shower she'd taken earlier, or more specifically, to the fantasies that had danced through her mind as she'd touched herself, fantasies about the attractive blond in front of her.

"And obviously, I was right," she said with another flash of a smile. "I've only been here one day and I've already made a new friend. A beautiful, new friend." Aubrey reached out and patted Sophie's hand affectionately.

"Come on, you can help me finish dinner," she suggested as she stood up and started toward the kitchen.

"cant say i've heard of it" Sophie tried to be polite "sounds great to be getting a fresh start, sometimes I think about what it would be like to mix it all up and start from scratch" she drifted.

Sophie blushed at Aubreys kind words, smiling at the touch of her hand. Sophie was taken by the comment and was unsure how to reply, simply grinning from ear to ear watching the pretty girl stand up and move toward the kitchen.
Sophie, smitten by her new friend quickly followed behind. "i'd love to" she beamed, stepping into busy kitchen.
The delicious and organic smells of dinner filled her nostrils as she topped up the two glasses of wine.
"To fresh starts and new friendships" Sophie toasted after handing Aubrey one of the topped up glasses.
Sophies eyes didnt leave Aubreys, for the toast and mouthful of wine.
"What can I do to help?" Sophie offered, turning towards the cooktop.

As Aubrey tipped the wine glass back and took a slow drink, she found herself watching her attractive young guest. It was funny to think how little she really knew about Sophie, considering the strong connection she felt with the blonde. They'd only just met that morning and talked for a few minutes, but Aubrey was sure that her new neighbor was not only a nice person, but someone she could trust. You also know that she has a boyfriend, Aubrey reminded herself with a mental pout.

Of course she did say that he was never around, she thought with a twinkle in her eye as she sat her wine glass back down. God, I'm so bad...

"Here, you can chop these up for me," Aubrey suggested, placing a small cutting board in front of Sophie, followed by three pieces of celery, two carrots and a small bunch of fresh basil leaves.

"Just make sure you mince the basil really fine," she added as she handed the blonde a small knife, before turning her attention back to the rest of the food which was coming along nicely.

"Here, let me show you," Aubrey said as she saw that Sophie was struggling a bit with the knife work. The brunette slipped around behind her new neighbor and stood with her chest to the other girl's back, her arms circling around to guide Sophie's hands as she looked over her shoulder.

Slowly she guided Sophie's hands through the delicate chopping, all the while enjoying the gentle intimacy of the moment. The warmth of Sophie's body against hers and the intoxicating smell of the girl's hair were fantastic, so much so that Aubrey had to resist the urge to lean down and kiss the blonde on her slender neck.

Sophie was a little nervous at chopping up the ingredients, she was used to eating out but would definitely put in an effort and get it right. She was relieved to hear that Aubrey would show her exactly how she wanted it done, but before she could step aside she felt Aubreys warmth press behind her.
Her soft hands gripped Sophies arms gently as she guided her through the chopping.
Sophie noticed how perfectly she fit into the brunettes embrace, it felt comfortable, she allowed herself to rest her head back slightly, almost cheek to cheek with Aubrey as she peered over Sophies shoulder.
Sophie didnt pay attention to the chopping, she did however pay attention to aubreys breatheing, the rising and lowering of her chest against Sophies back and the softness of her words as she spoke into Sophies ear. She nestled herself into the embrace more as aubreys hands controlled her own, chopping up the remainder of the vegetables and basil.
She let out a sigh as the pretty girl broke the embrace, turning to check on the fish. "So how soon do you start at Killer Rock?" she asked, saying the last two words in a badly acted exaggerated voice. "as in....do you start tomorrow, or do you have a bit of time to settle into your new place?"

"Actually I don't start for two weeks," Aubrey explained as she reached over and took the chopped vegetables and basil from in front of Sophie and began to add them to the food she was preparing. "I wanted to give myself plenty of time to get unpacked and settled in."

Satisfied that everything was ready, the brunette began to plate dinner, "I have a meeting with the station manager on Monday, other than that, I'm looking forward to relaxing and getting to know my new neighborhood."

"And my new neighbors," she added as she smiled at Sophie.

"Come on let's eat," Aubrey announced as she picked up the two plates and followed Sophie to the small table.

The fish had turned out well, especially considering how distracted Aubrey had been by her attractive new neighbor, and soon the plates and the wine glasses were empty. "I'm gonna set some cheese cake out. Why don't you have a seat on the couch and I'll join you in a second," Aubrey said, smiling at her guest.

Sophie blushed at the comment Aubrey made about getting to know her neighbors. Sophie quickly finished her meal and wine, enjoying the food and company immensely. Especially the small talk and glances exchanged throughout. "oh yum, I love cheesecake!".
Sophie stood from the table and brushed past Aubrey on her way to the couch, taking in her scent that was becoming more and more familiar.
Sophie caught her reflection in a mirror and fixed a few stray strands of hair as well as straightening her top. She then sat down on the couch.

Sophie slid out of her heels and pulled her legs up underneath herself on the couch, lounging on her side and making herself comfortable, eagerly anticipating the pretty brunette, and cheesecake of course.

Okay, Aubrey, don't alienate the first neighbor you meet by trying to jump her bones, the brunette thought to herself as she stepped into the kitchen and opened the fridge. The cool air that swept from the open door helped with the growing heat that Aubrey was feeling, of course it also caused her nipples to stiffen. She wasn't sure what it was about Sophie that was getting to her, other than the fact that she was beautiful, and nice and friendly and sexy and unassuming and intelligent and funny...

Aubrey sat the cheesecake out on the counter as she tried to get a grip. Just cause it's been a couple of months since you've had any doesn't mean you can just go crazy, she told herself as she pulled a couple of plates from the cabinet. She's got a boyfriend after all, odds are, she's not interested in women. As true as that was, Aubrey also knew that it hadn't stopped her in the past. In fact, some of the best sexual experiences of her life had been with straight women.

With an exasperated sigh, the brunette carefully cut the cheesecake and placed a slim slice on each plate. She joined Sophie on the couch, passing one of the plates to the blonde. "It's not home made, but it's the best I've ever had. Soooo silky smooth...."

"You haven't said much about your boyfriend," Aubrey said after letting a small bite of the cheesecake melt in her mouth. "How long have you two been living together?"

Sophie smiled when Aubrey came back into the room. She had smiled a lot today. Initially it was to be friendly and polite but now she just couldn't help herself; she was genuinely happy spending time with and getting to know her new friend.
She ate a small piece of the cheesecake admittedly she wanted to scoff down the whole thing, it was delicious, silky and smooth as Aubrey had said. "wow, it's beautiful" she said eating some more.
"You haven't said much about your boyfriend"
Sophie swallowed
"How long have you two been living together"
Sophie looked down at her plate as she replied "oh not long, only four or five months or so"
There was a brief moment of silence as Sophie realised tonight was one of the best nights she had had in those 'four or five months'.
"but yeah it's great, he's great, I mean yeah he is away often for work but other than that it's great" stop saying great Sophie said to herself, still looking down at her plate.
"I mean things could be better obviously but I have to make some sacrifices for the lifestyle I have" Sophie tried to convince herself again, looking back up at Aubrey as she spoke. Damn she is pretty
Sophie shifted uncomfortably before standing up and changing the conversation "I'm gonna get a little more of that cheesecake, do you want some more?" she asked as she leaned over Aubrey to take her plate. Sophie set the plates on the counter and took a deep breath. A million thoughts and emotions going through her head. This is the first person you've connected with in ages don't blow it! she is so cool and nice and pretty and funny and gorgeous, don't go all weird on her just because she asked about James.
Sophie collected herself as she cut another small slice for each of them, returning to the lounge she handed a plate to Aubrey and returned to her spot. "hope you don't mind, but I love cheesecake" Sophie laughed.
"So tell me about your ink. It's so beautiful, I would love to get a tattoo but I just don't have the guts, didn't it hurt?"

Such beautiful eyes...and those lips, Aubrey thought as Sophie leaned down to take her plate. The brunette was still curious about her neighbor's boyfriend and their relationship, but she got the distinct impression from the blonde's behavior that she wasn't entirely comfortable talking about it. If James is really gone that much for work she's probably lonely, but she probably doesn't want to admit it, especially to a practical stranger, she realized. Aubrey couldn't help but wonder what kind of guy would be dumb enough to neglect a gorgeous girl like Sophie, but then again, in her experience, most men were barely smart enough to remember their own names.

I know if she was my girlfriend I wouldn't spend any more time away from her than absolutely necessary, Aubrey thought with a smile as the attractive blonde returned from the kitchen.

"Thanks," the brunette responded as she accepted the cheesecake from Sophie.

"So tell me about your ink. It's so beautiful, I would love to get a tattoo but I just don't have the guts, didn't it hurt?" the blonde asked as she sat down on the couch.

"It does hurt, but it's not that bad," she answered as she looked down at the floral images that covered her left arm. "I guess you get used to it. I got my first one when I was fifteen, of course, my parents didn't know. They eventually found out, but by then there wasn't much they could do, right?"

"When I was nineteen I dated a guy who worked at a tattoo parlor," Aubrey explained. "That's when I got the ones on my arm and my hip." The brunette carefully sat her plate down on the coffee table and stood up in front of her guest. She turned her hip toward Sophie and pushed the edge of her pants down to reveal a long flowing tattoo of her name that extended from just above her waist, down over the curve of her hip, ending on the outside of her thigh.

"The last one I got was actually the most painful," she admitted as she sat back down and lifted her right foot up in the air to display the small cheshire cat face that was tattooed on the top of her foot.

"So what about you?" Aubrey asked as she retrieved her cheesecake and took a small bite. "You don't have any ink, what about piercings?"

Sophie was in awe of Aubrey's hip tattoo, the art itself was beautiful of course but Sophie knew that the real beauty came from how it accentuated the curve of Aubrey's hip down to the top of her thigh. A child's scribble would still look tantalising on you, She thought to herself with a hint of jealousy.
As Aubrey pulled her waistband up Sophie was a little upset that she had only been able to study the art...and the canvass for a brief moment.

Sophie instantly recognised Aubrey's foot tattoo, the mischievous grin of the Cheahire Cat caused a similar grin to grow across her own face.
"They are so cool".
Although her parents had always warned Sophie against tattoos and such she was always fascinated by them. Not just the art but the rebellion associated with them and the bold statement they made.

"So what about you?"
"You don't have any ink, what about piercings?"

"Nothing other than my ears; apparently when I was about 5 I went to stay the weekend with my Auntie, when I came back home I had small studs in my ears, my parents were mortified" Sophie laughed "They were against piercings and tattoos and anything like that, wish I could remember the look on their faces it would have been priceless"
Sophie smiled at Aubrey, she was enjoying herself and while she was still being polite and neighbourly she found she could let down some of her defences, hugging her legs up against herself as they spoke.
"I've always wanted to get a tattoo, maybe down the back of my neck or along the side of my waist" running her hand across those areas, wondering what it would be like to have a permanent piece of art there "I just have no idea what I would get"
Sophie stared into the room briefly before returning her gaze to Aubrey "Maybe you can help me think of something; and if you promise to hold my hand you can watch as I get it done" Sophie said half jokingly.
