The new Republican plan.

Your batteries are running down.

well, you are the carp of the human race. you refuse to put the work in to be successful and are angry at others for having 'more'

you are the only one, that is holding you back

Pretty well covers it. Nicely done.

Republicans excel at embarrassing themselves and that is only when no outright shooting themselves in the foot.

well, you are the carp of the human race.

I'm a...fish?

This is interesting to me; where does the "every Liberal is a welfare recipient" retort come from? Jeninflorida used it too, in almost every post she made. It's so weird - along the same line of thinking, I certainly wouldn't respond with "you're just a rich douche who wants to stick it to the poor" to NeverEndingMe, because the intellectual level of his posts suggest he probably works a low-wage job.

What is your degree of certainty that Hillary won't be elected? Like, a percentage, as of today?

I would say the chances of her being elected president are decreasing at about 1% per month.

other than being a democrat and a socialist what exactly about her do you find compelling?

It's really hard to be both those at once. You give Hillary much more credit than most.

when bernie sanders (also a socialist and a democrat) looks good standing next to Hillary, what else do you need to know? what exactly do you find compelling about Hillary, other than being a democrat and a socialist?

Hillary Clinton is a socialist? Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

So, per your math, they'll be down 13% by the time election day rolls around.

I'm sure she's terrified.

Simple: she angers up the blood of the most ignorant and caustic Americans, the ones who refuse to live in 2015.

That's always the reason I vote for anyone. I live under no delusion that a politician is going to do what they say during a campaign once in office; voting for someone based on their idealistic positions is tomfoolery. So, I look closely at the candidate the majority of myopic-brained morons are supporting, and I support the opposite one to piss them off as a service to the cause of a critically-thinking nation.

she probably won't even be nominated.

I think most would agree that the whole "we have no idea which candidate we're going to lead with" issue is a bigger deal for the Republicans right now.

as it should be. hillary has been campaigning for this job since she was forced kicking and screaming from the white house with china and flatware tucked up underneath her ample skirt.

but what do you care? you only vote to piss off republicans.

how enlightened.

fuck the issues, right?

"Esteemed Republicans, let's get started. As you know, we blew it in `08 and `12. But, frankly, we didn't blow it as spectacularly as we could have."

*Everyone nods in agreement*

"So, how can we make 2016 different? How can we really implode this time around?"

"Well, for starters: candidates. Let's make sure McCain is running. He's stuffy, old, and has no chance."

"Yes, but he's not really going to be a spectacular failure, is he? I mean it, people - I want our party on life support after all is said and done."

"True...oh! How about Donald Trump? Liberals are always painting us as racist bigots who pander to the wealthy - putting him at the top is like proving them right."

"And get him to say really stupid shit, like wanting to build a border wall. And insulting every minority in the country."

"That's more like it. Who else?"

"How about Sarah Palin?"

"She's old news. Keep trying."

"How about Meg Whitman?"

"Yes, she'd be a poor candidate, but she's also been successful. Not gonna work."

"Ooo! Ooo! Then how about that Carly lady who screwed up HP in a massively public way? People hate her!"

"PERFECT. Now you're getting it. Who else?"

"We should throw in a black candidate -"

"Careful..."

"...but who's totally out of touch with common America, and hardly knows anything about politics."

"Okay."

"And he should be super-nut-job religious and non-threatening. So at least a little viable, but easy as hell for Liberals to attack."

"That'll work."

"And make sure the most viable candidate - Bush - does himself in early."

"Excellent; sounds like we've got our failed candidacy plan down. Now, let's think of some other bad initiatives..."

"Let's go after Planned Parenthood. Something really polarizing."

"Nice. What else?"

"Remind Americans that we were against same-sex marriage, and tout crackpots who break the law by not issuing licenses to them."

"Yes, yes. This is great stuff."

"No more on-the-fence media responses. When a mass shooting happens, we don't mourn for the victims any longer; we go right into pro-gun mode. When a cop shoots someone who's black, we say the cop did the right thing, no matter what. Every Muslim is evil. And..."

"...and every transgendered person is a joke?"

"Yeah, there you go."

"This might seem a little far-fetched, but remember the Confederate flag?"

"Huh?"

"The Confederate flag. The version specifically used to connote white power in the late 40s, and used today by regressive Southern idiots, the KKK, and white supremacists to tout aggressive racism?"

"Yeah?"

"Let's start defending the shit out of that thing, for no good reason."

"Wonderful! That's the sort of thinking we need to have! Alright, we're getting our ducks in a row. Now, before we adjourn, we need to think about the Dems. Are there any scandals which could potentially do them in? If they get sunk, it's not going to bode well for our attempts to fail miserably, is it?"

"Nope. Hmm..."

"...wait: Benghazi."

"Ouch. That might be a tough one. Could really hurt Hillary."

"So, what do we do?"

"Concentrate on something little, rather than the big picture. Like, I dunno...her emails."

"Yeah - focus on emails. Make Americans sympathetic, since everyone's misused business email at some point in time."

"Get our worst-spoken Republicans to go after her during the hearing. The idiots. Make it seem as partisan as possible."

"Yes. I know a guy - Trey Gowdy - he'd be perfect. He's guaranteed to fuck everything up, and he'll take some of our guys with him."

"We should also get a couple of whistleblowers to say it was a partisan attack as well."

"No, wait - one whistleblower - and one cocky dumbass who lets it slip by bragging about it. "

"YES! Love it. Who will the cocky dumbass be?"

"Who else - our top candidate for Speaker of the House!"

"Awesome. But how far do we need to go on screwing this up?"

*silence*

"How about far enough so that the almighty neo-Con newsblogger Matt Drudge can't think of anything to say afterwards, except for something about Hillary's health?"

"And he headlines with it!"

"Excellent. Gentleman, I'm not sure what the point of this job is, but we'll get it done."

That ^^ sounds more like wishful thinking since the Iowa straw poll is what,100 days out?

I'm not affiliated with either party but Id like to see an outsider win. Bernie is acceptable to me , as is Trump. I'd prefer Trump because he would be the most entertaining. He has no filter and says what he thinks, plus he has balls. Bernie would be less confrontational with the congress= less entertainment. People that are panicked at the idea of President Trump or Sanders forget the congress will fight either one of them every step of the way.

In this election cycle you can throw out all the normal bullshit, political rules of thumb except Two, The one who has the most name recognition/ likeability and the most Money will win. I'm leaning more toward the bigger celebrity winning because that's what our politics has come down to these days, Celebrity. You get what you deserve.

because the president of the united states should be entertaining.
you and rory should just not bother voting.

Clinton engaged in some serious race baiting against Obama in 2008. The racially coded language spouted out by her proxies, the robocalls. It was ugly. You all may have forgotten about it, but I sure haven't. Never in a million years would I vote for that awful woman.

she couldn't possibly racially divide the country any worse than the current president. but yes, just another example of her political baggage.

I wouldn't put it past some of the sketchy people working for Clinton's campaign, but I honestly don't recall any "racially coded language" used by Clinton in 2008.

for a politician, she has way to much baggage. people seem to forget, bill was the likeable clinton, yet where is he?

Forgotten baggage isn't baggage.

Pretty well covers it. Nicely done.

Republicans excel at embarrassing themselves and that is only when no outright shooting themselves in the foot.

BUT WHY?! All they need to do is contemplate every single possible definition of 'quiet as the grave' and they'd do much better.

I would say the chances of her being elected president are decreasing at about 1% per month.

other than being a democrat and a socialist what exactly about her do you find compelling?

So starting at 100% they have fallen to. . .what?

I wouldn't put it past some of the sketchy people working for Clinton's campaign, but I honestly don't recall any "racially coded language" used by Clinton in 2008.

Because it didn't happen. The closest anybody can find is some emails that came from supporters.

Forgotten baggage isn't baggage.

So starting at 100% they have fallen to. . .what?

the only way her past indiscretions could be forgotten is a sympathetic liberal media.

so you are saying she currently stands to have a 100% likelihood of being elected?

your math is not good.

her numbers have been falling pretty steady.

I wouldn't put it past some of the sketchy people working for Clinton's campaign, but I honestly don't recall any "racially coded language" used by Clinton in 2008.

I remember it quite well. Comparing Obama to Jesse Jackson was racially coded, then in addition leaking pictures of Obama in a Somali outfit to Drudge. The Ali thing. The "Barack Hussein Obama" robocalls. Yes, these things came from her campaign and her husband. But it does not matter to me.

Then of course she start promotiong that she had better white support, which is about as blatant as one can get in terms of turning the campaign into being about race.

“I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on,” she said in the interview, citing an article by The Associated Press.

It “found how Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”

“There’s a pattern emerging here,” she said.

These are the people you have to win if you’re a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that,” she said in the interview.

Fuck her. I will not vote for her. If she wins the nomination I just may vote for a Republican instead.

Here is a good link summing up her race baiting.

Hillary Clinton needs to address the racist undertones of her 2008 campaign

Clearly, you need to look into the mirror and ask yourself. why are you such a failure?

What's holding you back?
Why do you hate Republican's?

Clearly, the issue is you.

Remember, Donald Trump isn't holding you back. It's the man in the mirror: you!

What are you doing to do to fix that?

I'm a...fish?
