Carter was certainly a dove but the inconvenient fact is that during his Presidency Americans overseas, doves or not, were very rarely shot. Reagen's presidency saw a lot of American servicemen killed without much response. Large numbers were also killed during Bush Junior's Presidency and Obama's.

Bush Senior had his war but got in and out fast - with few losses. On the death count alone, Carter and Bush senior rate pretty well- interesting that they were the only men who had military service on their cv.

I plan on voting for Bernie Sanders if he's still around come May, but only because my kids are for him in a big way and I told them I'd vote for him if he doesn't drop out before the primary.
