If your thesis is correct you'd expect I'd have an occasional hankering for some tube steak or relish the cut of some guy's jib. But it hasnt happened in 60 years. And I'm not holding my breath for the revelation.

Most of the studies I find about female work-relaled discrimination supports my thesis that females drag down compensation and prestige for whatever it is they do.

The researchers conclude that American companies and managers are simply assholes. But that begs the question.

Why do women work for less money, benefits, and prestige? Why are they willing to do it?

I think there are two reasons for the discrimination: Women are expensive tools, and women are gypsies. Women use their medical benefits a lot more than men do, and this increases the cost of insurance. The bigger the pool of females, the more insurance increases. Women use all of their paid time-off, men dont. Women interrupt their work schedules more often than men.

And women leave employment a lot more often than men do.

So the employer can bank on a female costing a lot more than a male, and the gal wont be around long because she'll move or take a break to care for grandma.

I don't use sick leave unless I'm sick because I want it available if I really need it for something major later. I have quite a bit accumulated. As for whether men or women use the most sick leave, that is an individual thing. Some men use it as they earn it and so do some women.

However, it is known that women are sick more often than men, which is why their health insurance costs more.
