The Non-English Debate Continues...

Chicklet will probably get the same thing I got from Laurel last year. "It's your contest!"

I like those rules, Chicklet. It sounds good to me.

Though, illustrated does confuse me. Illustrated ourselves? How?

How could I get unfair advantages for being multilingual, when anyone could ask to have their stories translated?

Never mind. I can see that it doesn't really matter what I try to say.

Okay, those are the rules I'm going to post.

Illustrated yourself as in you can't ask for outside help, just like with Audio and Non-English - pics can be of yourself OR of you OR drawn by you.

I just think that if I'm going to handicap the Non-English category, the others that we received outside help for should be handicapped as well.

And as far as I'm concerned, this thread is done. All opinions about these new rules can be posted on the other thread, just, no arguments okay?

Language

We are social beings dependant on our ability to communicate, so anything which limits that has to be a disadvantage. I have a bit of French and an even smaller bit of Greek. But how I would love to be fluent enough to enjoy for example The Story of O in French, rather than rely on a translator.

Just a thought.

ah-hem..

this discussion is over - we have our rules now. the thread is still up so that newcomers can fill in on the arguments. please don't squabble.

No doubt. In MHO she's upset for coming in second and that Chicklet won.

Sorry.
