I loved it. Thanks for writing it.Mine got approved, it's called "Kibun", a Korean word that means "mood" or "feeling."
F**k that would have been a WAY better title! Well, I'm not going back in the queue so "Kibun" is what you're getting![]()
Good luckMy story, Flying Monkey has been submitted for publication.
Let's see if it even happens. I have a total of FOUR stories pending now.
Lit's usual rules: a minimum of 750 words, a handful of content and formatting rules, and some form of connection to the theme. As long as the readers buy into the idea that it's Halloween-related you'll be fine.Sorry, everyone, another noob question. But I can't where the parameters are set for the contest, just the theme. Is there a word limit? Or something I really need to adhere to or pay attention to? I'm not too familiar with the forum side of lit and get easily lost here.

Thank you! I appreciate the help, and good luck to you, too!No word limit, just has to be over 750, the usual minimum. The theme is fairly loose and can be in any category. Good luck.
I know I’m repeating what @StillStunned and @Trionyx have said, but in my semi-official (aka officious) capacity, the same restrictions on length as any other Lit story: must be at least 750 words, no known upper limit.Sorry, everyone, another noob question. My story checked in at 751, despite trying to be only 750 lolNo word limit, just has to be over 750, the usual minimum. The theme is fairly loose and can be in any category. Good luck.
Trying to make bunny girls scary AND sexy at the same timeOn theme, it can be pretty tangential. A ghost story set in a different month. A non-supernatural story set on Oct 31st
. A vaguely creepy story with no actual supernatural elements
. Succubus
. Witch
. College kids dressing up for Halloween
. A she-demon and angel lesbian couple being sent back to 1995 to locate / rescue a young girl
.

So, for example, a possession that takes place over the course of October culminating on the 31st?
Come see me in February, we have a 750 word event where your story is limited to 750 words, no more, no less. It's aggravating at first, but once you get the hang of it it's a lot of fun. Right EM?My story checked in at 751, despite trying to be only 750 lol

Yeah - my thoughts entirely. They are great authorial exercises.Unfortunately, many readers don't like them. However, I enjoy reading and writing them, so fuck them A-Holes!
Why not both
You could have a Playboy bunny meets Easter Bunny meets Donnie Darko bunny kinda thing. Bugs as well maybeWhy not both
Noooooooo. No more plot bunnies. My head is already filled with inappropriate things. You could have a Playboy bunny meets Easter Bunny meets Donnie Darko bunny kinda thing. Bugs as well maybe![]()
