Sorry, everyone, another noob question. But I can't where the parameters are set for the contest, just the theme. Is there a word limit? Or something I really need to adhere to or pay attention to? I'm not too familiar with the forum side of lit and get easily lost here.

Lit's usual rules: a minimum of 750 words, a handful of content and formatting rules, and some form of connection to the theme. As long as the readers buy into the idea that it's Halloween-related you'll be fine.

I know I’m repeating what @StillStunned and @Trionyx have said, but in my semi-official (aka officious) capacity, the same restrictions on length as any other Lit story: must be at least 750 words, no known upper limit.

On theme, it can be pretty tangential. A ghost story set in a different month . A non-supernatural story set on Oct 31st . A vaguely creepy story with no actual supernatural elements . Succubus . Witch . College kids dressing up for Halloween . A she-demon and angel lesbian couple being sent back to 1995 to locate / rescue a young girl .
