Currently my life expectancy looks slightly longer but I am still terminal.

Last official forecast was that I was unlikely to survive to August 2020 at the best. Now, after last scan when cancer had retreated slightly? Medics just don't know. I am confunding their expectations.

One of my best friends is 19 1/2 years past her prognosis. Yes, she still has the cancer, it's just not progressing. She is on a cocktail of meds. She went through the falling over all the time period for about 2yrs. She is pretty steady on her feet now, although her stamina isn't what it once was.

There are those here who are adults, who have decorum, manners and honor. Then there are those who never got past the 6th. grade level in those things. Sarcasm is fun when used sparingly, poking the bear periodically, the same. Even being an asshole is fun and appropriate on occasion.

But being an abrasive asshole, looking at a view of the inside of your colon 24/7/365 for some is a lifetime job. Like one of the oversized 10" banana slugs we have around here, I ain't gunna try to reason with it, 'cause that's useless and I ain't gunna step on it 'cause it will stick to the bottom of my shoe and make a mess. I'll just kick some dirt on it and walk on. Somethings in life can't be changed and are best just ignored.
