Imagine if you will a group of people with a income of $50-200 million a year and they have nothing to do. they are board.

instead of working they use their money to get people to do things?

Sounds very interesting. What does the one percent do? Other than paying high taxes, that is. I agree with Jon Lovitz that they do pay them, unless they're Warren Buffett.

Anyway, back on topic, maybe a one percenter finds a particularly attractive Occupy protester in Manhattan and makes an indecent proposal to her (I'll fund one of those causes that you want me to pay higher taxes for if you'll be my FWB). This is a moral dilemma for her, because she wants to help her cause, but she doesn't want to prostitute herself.

Before she knows it, she falls for the guy and realizes that he's human and not a despicable parasite and he realizes that she is not a flaming, bomb-throwing Communist. They start to see each others' point of view and fall for each other. But neither wants the others' social and political circles to know about this. He's a Romney Republican and she's an Obama Democrat, that kind of thing. The idea of them risking everything, including the respect of their peers, to be lovers has a certain thrill to it.

maybe it's a secret club and they have a contest to see who can pay somene to cmmit the most outrageous acts, or fund the strangest ideas. Each year the winner gets a trophy and to lead teh group the following year.

As human beings, we have a life that is not definitely ours. God is the owner of everything. I guess, we have to give full percent of what we have to God. Let's bring all the Glory, honor, and praises to HIM. I'm sure everyone here has a talent, let your own light shine before men, so others may see you and eventually glorify God.

A relevant question, indeed. Maybe a Billionaire Wife-Swapping Club, where the wives spend a whole month or longer at another man's house, while the host's wife does the same for a different man. Say over a six month period, the wives cycle through a month at a time, spend each month at a different man's house. Each man gets a turn at playing hubby to a new woman.

Then they compare notes and see if anyone wants to make one of the changes permanent.

Kind of also gives me a plot bunny about men at a country club who might have a similar arrangement with their wives. The only stipulation....all of the kids have to be grown up and out of the house first, so it doesn't affect them. So we're talking middle-aged wealthy couples here with more money and time than things to do with them. What a way to pass the time.

Especially one of those more "adult" communities....in this case, "adult" in more ways than one. Not septuagenarians here, of course. Just folks in their forties or thereabouts. All grown up and ready to enjoy their mid-life crises by trading wives for a month. Think "Wife Swap", but with sex and no kids.

well this one community has golf, tennis, and a marina. from gated communities inside a guarded community, to high rise (10 floor condo's).

maybe while the hubbies are out being lawyers and Dr's the wife's enjoy tennis and golf lessons, or maybe a sailing lesson (hubba hubba)
