Gets up and heads over to the bar to get a drink. While waiting for his drink, he notices Kay out of the corner of his eye.

Ave Kay, how are you today?

Grabs his drink and walks back over to the couch.

She sat outside until the little orange orb sunk down into the deepening dark virescence of the sea and smiled. If there was a God, He sure did know how to create artistic master pieces in the evening sky. She sighed a little and felt so small, but the feeling was a good one. Yes. She lingered there a moment more, as the sky started changing from fading orange to charcoal then went back in, closing the sliding glass door behind her.

"Hi Avellan," she greeted with a smile, she wandered over towards him but did not sit. "How are you today?"

*His eyes were drawn to a movement from the hall. He smiled and waved to the woman with the ashen blond hair. Her dress was quite fetching, and his smile widened*

Good evening. How are you? I trust your rest found you well?

Her eyes averted from Avellan as she turned towards Fr33k, she smiled.

"Good Evening! I slept quite well, thanks; it's strange that I slept THAT long, though," she giggled a little and flicked her hair behind her shoulder. "And I'm well, yourself?"

She took a couple steps away from Avellan and stood somewhere in the middle between Fr33k and him.

Sometimes we need more rest than we realize. I'm doing well this evening, having not had work today, nor having to dread it tomorrow.

*He smiles and makes a gesture to one of the many lounges and chairs* You don't have to stay standing, Kay. Unless you've got restless legs...that happens to me sometimes when I sleep for long periods of time.

system reqs for the BloodRayne games...I meet the minimum for the first one on my desktop, but not the second one....

Ah, I don't do much PC gaming...

I'd get the PS2 versions, but...meh...already have the PC versions thanks to Rick. I can install from the discs included with the movies, patch so I don't have to use the discs, and play.

Leans back with a sigh and looks at his hand as thin tendrils of black smoke swirl around it.

Leans back and smiles at Kay.

So how are you today? I missed you yesterday.

"I'm fine, thanks..." she smiled at Avellan. "I seemed to sleep all day yesterday, who knew expensive red wine would do such a thing to me?" she giggled.

She smiled and swayed a little, facing towards Fr33k. "Thats good to hear, you not having work... I'm sure you've done a lot of responses to things today, then?" she stretched her arms above her head until her joints popped then allowed them to fall back towards her hips. "My legs are a little restless, I could do with a walk but.." she shrugs. "it's a bit dark now."

Gets up from the couch.

I have to go, it's storming where I'm at, I might be able to come back in a while.

Heads out of the Outlook and vanishes.

The moon seems to be providing ample light, but I'm sure I could wrangle up a torch or some such from the staff....

*His eyes move skyward, the moon's subtle rising casting bountiful light on the glassy waters below.*

In regards to my responses, they've been stop and go, but overall yes.

She glanced behind her, towards the sliding glass door and smiled, nodding as she watched the slow-moving ascend of the moon.

"I've only ever walked the beach once at night," she said softly, her face still towards the door. "A police officer didn't take too kindly to it," she giggled. "Actually, he was quite rude in telling me the beach was closed, despite there being no signs stating you must be off of it by a certain time."

She glanced and Fr33k and smiled, blushing a little. "Any way... would you... uhm... that is, if you're not too busy..." her voice trailed off.

I'm not busy at all, Kay. I'd love to.

*He rises, waving over a staff member and requesting a torch or some other such light source. He is given a small lantern, electric from the bulb blatantly visible inside*

This should do, if the moonlight is not sufficient.

*He stepped to where Kay stood, smiling softly*

Shall we?

She smiled, biting her lip. She watched as the staff member brought him the small lantern and took to his side as he stepped to where she was standing.

"Lead the way," she said softly.

*He moved to the door she'd been looking out of, sliding it open and taking the steps slowly, making sure she was near him as they continued to the beach. Once they'd reached the base of the stairs, he turned his head to face her*

So, which way? There are some interesting rocks to the right. I like to meditate there. To the left are a few different coves and nice little spots to sit and watch the waves without having to climb on crags to reach them.

She followed him, through the door and down the steps. She had only just noticed she was barefoot but shrugged it off: sand was so much nicer to walk in without shoes anyway! Once they reached the bottom and he offered her a choice she stood in thought for a moment, glancing left and right, contemplating.

"I think to the left would be good," she decided. "If that's alright with you..." she blushed a little.

*He held the lantern, still off for the moment, at his side. The flush of her cheeks was quite endearing. She seemed so shy, but eager at the same time.*

Left's fine with me.

*He took her hand gently, guiding her down the sand to the left of the stairs. The tide was low at this moment, giving a wider berth for their path. His steps wandered closer to where the water would return, his shoeless feet leaving clear impressions*

Her fingers laced with his and she smiled inwardly. As they strolled down the coast side she contemplated conversation, decided against it, and allowed the silent void to cover them... the only sound was the distant rolling of the waves, the slight whistle of the wind that swept over them on this warm evening. It was a comfortable silence; one she wasn't sure she had shared with anyone before, refreshing really. She kicked at the sand like a child would: something about the sea brought out her inner kid; she contained a giggle as the little particles dispersed in tiny little clouds above her feet; she even went so far as to swinging his and her arms slightly as she walked... she hoped he didn't mind.

*The lapping of the tide grew steadily closer to their path. She was swinging their arms, a child-like joy that he hadn't observed in quite some time in anyone. It made him chuckle softly as they kept going. Eventually, they came to a small inlet, surrounded by thin reeds of grass, tall enough to cover the view from above.*

Well, here's one of those coves I mentioned. Shall we continue on or settle here? I am sure there are more along the way...
