"Bloo-dee-hell." James sighed to himself in staccato, hoping it wasn't loud enough to out the fact he had cast a powerful chamelon spell on himslef.
"I see how it is..." He said, backing away and then accidentally knocking over a vase.
He cursed and then pranced into another corner, hoping he wasn't found out.

AH-HA! *she points at the newcomer and then looks at Dragon.* See? I'm not the only one to get caught up in the double post.

She spun around, arching a brow, looking at the newcomer...

"Well, hello you to you too, sir. Care to join us?"

James suddenly reappeared wearing a tight black turtleneck, with a red scarf and black jeans accompanied by surprisingly fitting long heavy boots.
"Would love to!" He said with a smile.

Well, Good-Morning, little miss sleepy-head. About time you joined the living.

She looked up from her atmospheric pity party and glanced around nervously: the sound of the breaking vase had startled her.

"Good Morning, Cait," she smiled. "I didn't know I could sleep that long without being in a coma..." she giggled nervously.

She glanced at the newcomer and smiled to herself, glancing back at her coffee. She so wished she could be as charming as Cait.

An answering smile on her lips, "Welcome to The Outlook. You may call me DW or Cait if you like. Over there," she pointed to the floating beanbag," is Dragon and the young shy miss over there," gesturing to Kay," is Milady Kay."

She stuck her hand above her head so that the newcomer could see where she was in the booth when Cait introduced her.

I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to wake, Kay.

She giggled.

"Well, I was awake long enough to take a stroll with Fr33k two nights ago," her cheeks grew flush at just mentioning his name. "... then we were meant to meet last night and... I guess after swimming in the ocean... and waiting for him" she giggled and shrugged. "I fell asleep on the couch."

James nodded at everyone as he acknowleged them.
"Nice to meet you all!" He said in the general direction of everyone.
"Ah, a warrior, I used to be handy with a sword myself, but then I was surprisingly admitted into the Arcane University after saving a wizard, three degrees, a recognised doctorate and a vice-archmagedom later, I find myself keeping the schimitar on the shelf"

She winked, "Magic has it's purposes, but I prefer hard steel. Some of us practice on the beach. You're more than welcome to join us if you ever feel the desire to dust off that scimitar of yours."

He smirked.
"You're talking to the Arch-Mage of the destruction magic wing, I can cast fireballs so hot your Grandchildren will look like Freddy Krueger"
He smiled at the levitating woman.
"Wonderful, I only recently completed my degree in mysticism, lovely art isn't it?"

Smirks herself, "Pup? First of all, the one in that beanbag floating around is male. Two, never, ever, assume anything about anyone," her voice became soft, low as her eyes narrowed.

She smiled kindly at Kay, "Well, there will be other days for another walk with him, I'm sure, as soon as the real world releases its hold on him."

Looks back at a little surprised.
"Simple mistake, no need for the attitude."

She arched a brow at that. "You call that attitude? Oh, you haven't seen a quarter of what I am capable of. However, mistake acknowledged. A drink for you perhaps?"

(lol, amazing things one can do with a phone these days.)
(Yeah, it even makes phone calls!)
"A drink? Sure!" He piped up.
He reached behind his back and when he returned his hand he had an extra large can of Red Bull in his hand.
"Gotta hand it to the mortal worlders, some things they just do right, take it from an accomplished alchemist."

She tipped her head slightly, studying him before she spoke again.

"Tell me, Mage. Do you have any manners at all? How are you called? And do you always brag so?"

"Why yes I do, don't worry, the list of things I can brag about isn't too much longer." Takes a long sip of Red Bull.

She stared at him longer then simply turned on her heel, her intent to ignore him, as she made her way to a rail to look out at the view again. It always worked its magick when it came to soothing her temper.

comes out of his elven revery. He had been so absorbed that he had missed the arival of some of his friends, and a newcomer. He turns slowly to face Cait. He walks to her first sliding his arms around her from behind, "I've just had a lot of stress lately, and I've not slept well so..." I reply to the question I missed, my lips near her ear.

I smile to Kay calling a greeting, "Hello My friend, did you get my last whisper? I wasn't sure if you had."

waving to Dragon and the new comer...

I chuckle at Cait, "You have a temper of a redhead hmm?" I say teasing her.

She leaned back into his hard Elven body with a smile, placing her hands on his arms, "Yes, I do," she tipped her head back against his shoulder as she gazed up at him, "But you wouldn't want to stir it," she thought for a moment, "then again, maybe you would." The twinkle in her eyes spoke of mischief, the kind he liked.

fingers begin to rub her shoulders, moving from around her to her back, silently trying not to start laughing at the slightly pompus ass.
