"Awwww, draggy," she kissed his cheek, " they're not bad and they do have their purpose."
I love coloring eggs, my father to this day tries to make a brown football, and always ruines all the colors... even if we are adults we still sometimes still keep taht tradition alive.

walks over to offer the James Character a hand. "You can call me Glad, most do... as I said we got off on the wrong foot..." He says kindly.

"Ok..." James sighed, feeling himself tense up out of nervousness.
"Very little chance of getting these people to like me, why do I always do this?" He said to himself turning away.

James turned around and let out a nervous laugh as he shook the hand presented to him.
"I don't bite." he says with a chuckle, "Well I do but..." he sweeps his gaze over him and then lets it flick over to Cait, "You aren't my type though, so you're safe." he winks conspiratorially.

Fiery red haired she may be, but Glad can always draw a blush out of her.

Speaking of eating, I need to check on the hot dogs I have thawing. I hope to be able to make some semblance of chili dogs.

"Yes warrior?" He turned to acknowlege her.

She sighed, "Stay. You are welcome here. I once was a newcomer like yourself not long ago. I wandered in here and found welcome and good friends. And the name is Cait or DW, use it." The last she softly growled out.

His eyes sweep back over her again this time lingering. His footsteps draw him back to her an arm sliding around her waist. "You're blushing." he whispers in her ear.

She nudged him in the ribs with her elbow as she leaned close to him, "Yes. Damn you."

"Well, I was simply responding to being called mage, I will call you Cait if you call me James, deal?"

Pardon me, I was experiencing Kay's World War 1,234,899 presenting: the dutiful daughter, Kay, and her two evil unappreciative parents.

She smiled kindly at Kay, "Well, there will be other days for another walk with him, I'm sure, as soon as the real world releases its hold on him."

"I know," she said with a smile, bowing her head sheepishly. "He's got a pretty crazy RL schedule."

comes out of his elven revery. He had been so absorbed that he had missed the arrival of some of his friends, and a newcomer. He turns slowly to face Cait. He walks to her first sliding his arms around her from behind, "I've just had a lot of stress lately, and I've not slept well so..." I reply to the question I missed, my lips near her ear.

I smile to Kay calling a greeting, "Hello My friend, did you get my last whisper? I wasn't sure if you had."

waving to Dragon and the new comer...

I chuckle at Cait, "You have a temper of a redhead hmm?" I say teasing her.

"Hi, Glad!" she said with a grin and a nod. "I did, I just... wasn't sure how to answer it," she admitted with a deep blush, bowing her head again.

"Well, I was simply responding to being called mage, I will call you Cait if you call me James, deal?"

She inclined her head, "If you had introduced yourself to begin with, I would have. (unless I missed it somewhere in the rolling posts and if so, my apologies) James it is." She held out her hand in a friendly gesture.
