The Outlook

Sees Zydrate's entrance and waves.

"I've not met Zydrate Thyri, although I've seen her around. Do you mind going up there and introducing me?" I ask.

Gets up and walks over to the railing of the docks,.and looks out at the ocean.

What a sight.

pours the bubble mixture into a bubble machine and turns it on...

Returns her hug my hands warm on the cool skin of her back. I laugh at the wet spots on my shirt too. "You just did that on purpose to get me wet." I tease laughing.

I give a slight wave to Avelan as well. Thyri's playful actions bring a smile to my lips. "I did no work over my spring break and now I am a little behind and will have to work my ass off this week."

"That's the hard life of a slacker, eh?" I giggle, taking my friend's hand again and continuing our walk. Glances up at the patio, just as Zydrate heads out temporarily.

"I'll be glad to. But it looks like she's a little busy at the moment."

She's a little hard to pin down. Zy get's pretty flighty, especially when she's on the juice.....Not drugs....coffee!

I laugh. "You don't have to know her well." I say laughing at her comments, "I just haven't actually said anything to most of the people around here. I'm one of the few members who have been a part of the board for years that haven't been to the lounge much... I believe it was created during one of my absenses."

I love the water. The Outlook is a great place because its right on the beach, but I'd be just as happy with a cool mountain lake, or a waterfall, or a windy river. How about you, what kind of places do you like best? Are you a city boy, or a country boy?

I guess it depends... the beach is nice... I'm more of a person who likes to be with people more than I care about where I'm at... a friend asked me earlier if I liked to go out to like bars. I said you know it really depends more on who I'm with and what we're doing....If that makes any sense."

It makes sense to me. I love being in good company as much as pleasant surroundings. And when the two are combined, it's best of all.

*Leading him gradually back to the steps up to the Outlook, looking forward to some drinks and maybe some interesting visitors to join us.*

Avellan saw the two from the beach climbing up the steps, he nodded and waved them over.

How are you two today? want to sit and have a drink?

Grabs a few drinks and sets them out for the others.

Walks with Thyri back up to the deck of the outlook. Waving at Avellan.

I grab a coke for me from the collection Avellan has. "What's your pleasure Thyri?" I ask sitting on a hammock like swing. I pat the spot next to me silently inviting Thyri to join me.

*Knowing just where my fae cousin keeps the best stuff, I help myself to a bottle and a glass, then decide to put the glass back. Opening the bottle, I return to sit beside my good friend, swinging slightly in the hammock.*

*Waving at Vail as she stops by, I sigh at how yummy she looks, but I am not fooled by the innocent appearance. I smile at her, wondering if she will join us, lifting the bottle in invitation.*

I accept the food from Avellan "Yeah, weird sounding combo I know... but its good that's what I had RL in fact." I start to eat offering the fork to Thyri, "Want some?" I ask taking a bite of muffin waving at Neko, who is one I don't know yet. Nodding to Vail also.

Accepting the offered bite, blueberry muffins are among my favorites.

Oh, by the way, Neko is our resident cat-girl, Gladiator. She's very sweet, and likes to be petted and scratched behind her ears. I suspect that may only be the least of the things she might like, but I haven't had the chance to find out for myself yet.

Neko, this is my friend Gladiator. He was the first friend i made when I came to Lit, and is still one of my best friends.

I smile and set down my muffin giving Thyri a stern look. "If you eat that all while I shake her hand I will smack you one... and not in a good way." I smile at Neko. "A pleasure to meet you." I say. "I think you came just in time for dinner."
