The Playoff Game... (anyone want to be the officer..join anytime..)
I am going to give this a try...be patient with me....I am learning..
Crawling out of bed, I looked at the clock I could not believe how late I had slept. I only a couple of hours before the game, just enough time for a quick shower before making a snack run. It was going to be a quick visit to the story, so I just threw on jeans and my 49er’s, grabbing my purse I headed to the store. While getting my bottle of Sky Vodka, I bumped into another fan, we exchanged comments about the game before continue on. We pass several times, each time exchanges pleasantries. When we crossed paths in the vegetable section, it was just like a scene from the movie Animal House as he picked up a cucumber “mine is larger.” I giggled as I looked and him biting my lip as I checked him out. Here I am a 45 year old wife, checking out this young stud, made me feel like a silly teenager.
He grabbed my bottle of vodka, as he put it in his cart; he said “come watch the game with me!” My head was spinning, I didn’t even thing as I followed him through the checkout and out to his truck. As we drove from the store, my heart pounded against my chest, as he put his hand on my knee, commenting, the guys won’t believe what I picked up at the store.
What have I gotten myself into?
