Um, I’m more active in local / state / national politics than most people I know, but I am NOT a zealot.

I recently worked for the campaign that helped elect the Democratic Party backed candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and I worked on many other campaigns for various offices before that (some successful, some not).

Oddly enough, my family members once thought I was too politically active, but now several of them are far more involved. I try to tell them to focus their energy on the most consequential elections & issues or they will burn out: Every local race / issue does NOT have to be prioritized in my / their city, county, and state.
