I use the guy I am living with, and he cashes it and brings me the receipt. Obviously, I only use someone I trust, and I get the receipt only to see the exchange rate on foreign funds, then bitch about the faltering US dollar.

I know, hon, and I didn't mean to imply that you did. I never had to get around that. The only cheques I ever got were from British banks. Otherwise I got money orders.
