The Raiders of the Scarlet Sails (IC)

Scarlet Dragon

The tables turned quickly as Wulf, Jura, Blade and the remaining men charged into the battle on the deck of the Scarlet Dragon. In minutes, all the Sea Devils had been sent back to their own dimension. Nya had returned from the battle under the ship, and was relieved to hear Red was no longer singing her horrible song.

“Was it that bad?” Red asked Nya as she pushed another dead Sea Devil into the sea.

“Once every 150 generations or so, there is a song. A song that shines like a sun of hope across our vast, dark world. A song that holds a mirror up to society so that it may gaze upon its sallow visage and take stock of it’s potential. A song, by way of its mere existence, threatens to shatter all evil in our civilization and construct anew the foundation for this world.” Nya explained. “Ahhh your song … was not that song. In fact, I think it was the opposite of that song. Please never sing it again. The Baddie Crunch! the tittle of it almost makes me vomit!”

“Wow … that was harsh!” Red commented

Wulf ordered a damage report be taken. All stations reported back to him and it was learned the Scarlet Dragon had lost 5 crew members. In addition, a boatswain had splintered his thigh bone. A catapult operator had several shark teeth embedded just above his left eye, and finally a ballista operator had lost 4 forefingers and his thumb from his right hand. Jabil was called over to preform whatever healing magic was possible. Any that could not be healed, would be fitted with wooden peg leg, a hook or a patch for their eye.

Jabnil looked like shit herself, with contusions all over her perfect skin. But she used what magic she had left to help the wounded.

The ship’s damage was not too bad. The mast had taken a few powerful blows from swords and tridents but could be repaired quickly. It was still structural sound. The rigging was damaged but some new lines would fix that up quickly. The worst damage was in the storage room … a large amount of the food was gone and worse much of the fresh water too. All the porthole windows needed repair except one.

Red nodded as Wulf reported the damage.

“We’ll need to resupply … Let’s get underway as soon as possible. We are a sitting duck for more sea devil attacks if we stay here. Our new destination is the Chain Archipelagos and in particular Albatros Isle. We can resupply there.” Red ordered.

Wulf nodded at the captain. He dismissed the ballista operator and told him to stay in his quarters until Jabnil had recuperated. Maybe she could do something for him after she had rested for awhile. The Catapult operator laughed off his injury and was already planning to turn the teeth into a good luck necklace, and the boatswain was now resting comfortably thanks to Jabnil but would still need bed rest to complete his healing.

He then sent men down into the hold to gather all the materials they would need to fix the mast, sail and the rigging. He estimated it would take a little over an hour to fix everything so that they could get underway and maybe another half while they traveled.

He decided to send a small party over to the fishing vessel and see if there was anything worth salvaging from it. He hoped there were at least some barrels of fresh water left. The devils would have had no need for them and he was hoping that they had not destroyed them out of spite.

He then detailed five men to stay up in the rigging armed with bows to keep a lookout for the return of any devils before they were underway. He then looked at Blade and smiled. "I guess you will be in the crows nest as usual, so I don't have to give you any orders. Just keep an eye on the sea as well as the captain okay. My men can't do it all and are no where as good as you anyway."

He then strolled off to find out how Amlugeth had fared. He had lost track of her in all the fighting and wanted to make sure she had survived alright.

Blade

He grinned at Wulf, "One does what one can for the best of the crew and cap'n." With a chuckle he clambered up the mast with the agility of a monkey, the grievous wounds and near-death of weeks before almost just a memory. Taking his place in the crow's nest, he drew a rag from his pants and started to clean up the darts, knives and daggers he have salvaged from the dead. It was always good to be well-stocked and ready

Amlugeth was in the storage room moving crates and barrels. She was muttering to herself and had a few scratches but nothing serious. She was thankful there was not a window in this room or the supplies would be in worse shape than they were. Amulgeth had climbed up on top of two crates she just stacked and was trying to move another crate that was next to them when the ship swayed a bit and she started to topple off the crates. She grabbed for the crate as she screamed.

Wulf had been searching the whole ship for Amlugeth but had not had any luck. Some of the crew members had seen her heading below decks, so he had headed down to investigate the hold and crew quarters.

It had not taken him long to search the crew quarters and the now devastated storage room. He wondered how Jabnil had survived the blast that had caused this but then again she was part angel.

He searched through the officers quarters and even peaked into the Captains on the off chance that she had been sent in there to do something for her. Walking back out he was about to give up and go back up on deck when he remembered one place he had not looked.

Jabnil had been fighting in the store room but there was also the storage room for all the ropes and other equipment. Maybe Amlugeth had gone in there. He headed down to check on that and had just opened the door when he heard a scream and saw a form toppling from up high. It tried to catch itself on a crate and succeeded in halting it's fall for a second or two then continued it's fall. Those seconds had been precious though as it had allowed Wulf to dash across the hold and position himself under the falling body and easily catch it.

Looking down he was surprised to see he was holding the lithe body of Amlugeth and he blushed deeply as he placed her back on her feet quickly. "Ahh...Ahh..Miss Amlugeth. I..I..Was just l..l..looking for you. I wanted to see how you had fared after the battle but I see you are doing alright. Perhaps you could use some help down here though. I believe I could move these boxes a lot easier and safer than you could," he said still blushing deeply.

"You always seem to be there when I need help. I would ask if you were a guardian angel, but I know Jabnil is an angel and would have said something if you were also. I guess I will just have to be thankful that you are there when I need you!" Amlugeth said as she righted herself and smiled at Wulf. "I thought the boxes were steady up there but I guess all the banging on the ship moved them around a bit. I would totally appreciate your help, you sure you aren't needed elsewhere? Oh, I also found a few more barrels of water in the back here that were put there in case of an emergency. I guess now is an emergency. I'm sorry, I am rambling."

Amlugeth went to take a step away and felt her knees give way. She quickly grabbed onto Wulf like a lifeline. "Guess that fall took a bit out of me. I am usually not this shaken by stuff." She stated as she continued to hold onto Wulf.

Wulf smiled down at her. The truth was he didn't mind one bit that she was holding onto him but he didn't know how to tell her that. Oh he had had his fair share of tavern wenches and whores, but this was different. This was someone he liked and wanted more than just a romp in the bed with. This was someone he wanted to get to know and enjoy the company of. The problem was every time he tried to do that he was either laughed at or treated like a big brother. Did he want to take that chance again?

"It's okay, You can rest against me for as long as you like. I have already given my orders and it will take a while for the ship to get underway. I have to make sure she is sea worthy anyway and check on our stores. Those water casks are a good find and should make it a lot easier to get to where were going."

He realized he was rambling and shut his mouth as he gazed into her eyes.

As Amlugeth looked into Wulf's eyes she felt herself being drawn closer to him. It was if the eyes were a magnet and pulling her towards him. She glanced at his lips and opened her mouth to exhale. It was like a dream, she didn't know if it was real or not, but right now she didn't care. She wanted to know what it felt like to be kissed by those lips and be lost in those eyes. Her heart was beating so hard and loud she felt for sure that Wulf must hear it too. Her breath was coming quicker and her body swayed closer to his as she continued to hold onto him. Did he feel this also?

Wulf looked down into Amlugeth's face and saw her coming towards his, closer and closer. it was if she was trying to scale his body just to get to his lips. He saw himself reflected in her eyes and knew she saw herself reflected in his because he could not look away from her.

He stared at her lips, wondering if he dared to lean down and kiss them, then he watched as they pursed a little and he decided to take the risk. He slowly leaned down and wrapping his muscular arms around her body, he pulled her tightly against him and kissed her lips in a slow gentle kiss.

Smiling as he pulled back he stared deeply into her eyes again. "I hope I was not too forward, but I have been wanting to do that for a very long time," he told her not letting her go.

"Really? You haven't seemed like it. You seem very wrapped up in your work most of the time and of course helping keep us all alive! Is being on a pirate ship always like this?" Amlugeth rambled on as she wrapped her arms around Wulf's neck keeping him close to her. "I mean we seem to barely get out of one fight and we are getting attacked by someone else! How is a person supposed to relax?"

Amlugeth pressed her body against his as she continued rambling on about nothing. She was very nervous and didn't know what to do. She wanted to kiss him again, his lips felt so warm and soft against hers. His body was so strong and firm and his arms were comforting and protecting at the same time. She could feel his heart beating in time with hers, so maybe he does feel like she does. Maybe she should just stop being afraid, after all she has never been one to back away when she really wants something.

She pulled Wulf's face to hers and traced his lips with her tongue.

Wulf could tell when a woman was nervous, he had been with many who had been, and Amlugeth was displaying all the signs of being one. Perhaps they should not continue this now, he thought until she pulled his face down and kissed him, her tongue tracing along his lips.

He kissed her back, sucking her tongue into his mouth and twirling it with his. He dueled with her tongue before returning the favor she had given him and traced her lips with his own tongue.

Breaking off his kiss he looked down at her and deep into her eyes. "Amlugeth, their is nothing I would rather do than to stay here and spend the rest of the day and night with you exploring your body. However I must report back to the Captain and be at my post. However tonight," he told her with sparkling eyes," yes tonight my dear if you would like to come to my cabin, I am sure we can continue this where we are so rudely interrupted."

He then leaned down and kissed her passionately again and then looked at her, awaiting her answer.

"Oh, yes, I have work to finish also. There was a lot of damage and I have to reorganize our supplies. If you want to stop by my cabin when you are done your work, I will be there." She replied and smiled. "Now get going before neither of us gets any work done." She says as she gently guides him towards the door.

Amlugeth takes a deep breath after Wulf leaves to calm her heart and nerves. She can't believe she just told him to stop at her cabin. But his kisses were so.... amazing. She knew she wanted much more!

The Scarlet Dragon was underway quickly as the crew continued to repair and restore gear as they sailed north. Water was a concern but Amlugeth had stored the two barrels of Orc rum they had acquired from the Famished Mane in the forward locker. So if fresh water ran out … there was rum to drink. The crew loved rum, so Red ordered extra rations be provided to stretch the water supplies.

They made good progress as the winds carried them northward. Everything was returning to normal after the Sea Devil attack. Well almost everything. Red noticed Wulf and Amlugeth were both acting a little bit strangely. She asked Nya about it as the sun was setting that evening.

“Nya have you noticed anything odd about Wulf and Amlugeth behavior?” Red asked as the two stood on the quarter deck watching the sun go down.

“No captain … both are probably worried about the water supplies. Wulf being the quarter master and Amlugeth the purser and all.” Nya pointed out.

“You are probably right … Things will return to normal once we reach Albatros Isle and resupply” Red concluded and she bid Nya good night and returned to her cabin to go to sleep.

She is good at being naughty!

As Red went to bed .... below decks in the officer’s quarters, Jabnil, the fallen, blonde angel was gently stroking Jura’s massive minotaur cock. Their fucking was on a small hiatus as Jura had just defiled Jabnil’s tight pussy with glorious amount of cum. He would fuck her again soon, but after plastering her beautiful pussy with so much of his sticky seed he needed a short rest before doing it again. Jabnil, on the other hand, was practically comatose with post-orgasmic bliss, small tremors still ran through her body from the multiple orgasms the big bull had given her.

“You heal quickly” Jura noted as he lay on his back with her next to him on her side. Jabnil kissed the top of his cock in a loving way and turned to look the bull in his eyes.

“Yes … The silver sword can cast healing spells as can I” Jabnil said as she gave his cock another loving kiss.

“I heard of your courage and determination in fighting the 4 armed Sea Devil.” Jura noted

“MMMMM” Jabnil moaned as she sucked on the end of his cock. Her mouth enjoying his taste, then she pulled his cock free from her mouth to address his comment. “The thing told me I was done for …that I should quit fighting. I’m not a quitter. I confronted my god and was thrown out of her Solar Angels … I did not quit my cause then and I was not going to quit that fight. The Sea Devil’s comment was just the spark I needed to pull myself together.” Jabnil replied.

“What were you and your god arguing about?” Jura asked

Jabnil gave his cock a few long strokes as she answered his question “Well, it is complicated. But I basically felt Chauntea, the Great Mother, the goddess of life, needed to change a few things she was doing.”

“Like what?” Jura asked, curious about what a god could possibly do wrong.

“Well … for example I told her she needed to speak to her worshipers in a more plan and common way. That way they could understand her words more easily. No more use of shadowy metaphors and hard to understand symbolism. Just tell them what they need to do. Also I suggested she redirect all her priests, ministers, cult leaders and clerics to focus on her goals. Tell them to stop recruiting more worshipers and extracting money from them. Have them go out and battle evil and the destroyers of our world. Success in these areas will draw more warrior naturally ... no need to recruit.” Jabnil explained, her pride in her ideas showing through.

“Your god threw you out for suggesting those ideas?” Jura asked

“It was a combination of things … there are rules Solar Angel must follow. The rules seemed flawed to me. So I broke a few of them. I think that was the straw that broke the camel’s back as they say. Good gods don’t want their angels to behave in a selfish way. Ignoring the rules, it is considered bad.” Jabnil replied as she straddled his waist and guided his cock to her dripping wet pussy.

“Ready for more?” Jabnil asked with a naughty look in her eyes.

Jura looked seriously at Jabnil. His gaze was deep and penetrating. “I fight with myself to be a good creature … fight against my evil black dragon impulses. It seems like you were a good creature and you went bad, thrown out of heaven for being evil. Are you evil?” Jura asked with concern.

“Jura, I will answer that question in the morning” Jabnil stated with a smile and she thrust back against his massive cock. Moans of pleasure escaped from both their lips as Jabnil rode Jura’s cock.

The next morning

As the sun’s light started to lighten the cabin of Jura, he woke up and found he still had his arms around Jabnil. The fallen angel was already awake and was looking at him with adoration in her eyes.

She leaned in and kissed the Minotaur “Good morning and thank you for last night … you were wonderful!”

Jura smiled back at her, thinking of all the pleasure that had occurred between them. “Thank you … you were wonderful too”

“Each of us gave the other pleasure, looking for nothing in return … reciprocal altruism. We cared for each other and respected each other. There was no deception, just the truth. Do any of those ideals or acts sound evil to you?” Jabnil asked.

“No” Jura grunted. His mind understanding what she was saying. She was answering his question from the night before. He was starting to understand what was considered “evil” and what was considered “good”. Jabnil might have fallen from heaven but she was truly a good creature. She was not selfish, she cared for others, respected others, and was truthful. These ideals were generally considered good. He decided Jabnil was someone he could learn more from. He also decided he liked the way she taught him. Her last lesson plan had been a pleasurable one!

Jura thought about Captain Red. His heart still loved her, but Jabnil was like the second cow in his herd. He liked Jabnil, but he was not in love with her. At least he was not in love with her yet.

Wulf had returned to his duties after leaving Amlugeth and had soon got things running smoothly. The rest of the day he had rotated the men so that everyone had taken their turns on watch and had gotten a rest period. Finally he thought they were far enough away from the ambush site for the watch to be taken down and the men to go back to their regular duties.

After making sure everyone was suitably rested he sent the night watch off to eat and then to go to sleep. The day watch would have to put in an extra hour or two But the night watch would make it up tomorrow then things would go back to normal.

He found his second in command and told him he would be in charge tonight as he needed a rest. By the time the shift ended he was a little tired but not tired enough that he was going to miss his rendezvous with Amlugeth. He had seen the captain and others giving him a few long looks during the day, but he didn't care.

He grabbed a bucketful of water from overboard and dumped it over himself, shaking it out of his hair and beard before he headed down to his cabin to change into fresh clothes. Then he walked across the way and knocked on her door. "Hello miss Amlugeth, are you still awake?"

Amlugeth sent word to the captain about finding the extra barrels of water along with the dried meat and some of things they were running low on. She made a list, organized where everything went, gave some order to the men who were sent to help her so they could get things brought over to their ship. When she was all done she was sweaty and dirty and knew she could not meet with Wulf like that, so she went to her room and cleaned up using the sea water that everyone uses to wash with. She brushed her hair until it was all soft and shiny. She had put on the one dress she had recently bought. She knew she would probably never wear it, but it was such a beautiful dress that she couldn't resist. It was a silky material that glided against your skin and when she tried it on it clung to her body that every curve was shown off to its full extent. The neckline was open and showed off her full cleavage and there was a slit up both sides from the bottom of the dress up to her mid hips. Amlugeth and pulled her hair up with some clips so that just a few strands hung down to frame her face and show off her neck and shoulders. Just as she was adjusting the thin straps the held up the dress she heard Wulf knock on her door. "Hello, Miss Amlugeth, are you still awake?" he asked.

Amlugeth stood in the middle of her room and replied, "Yes, the door is open." She held her breath and waited for him to enter.

Wulf took a deep breath and then opened the door and stepped inside. He didn't know what he was expecting but it certainly wasn't the vision of beauty that met him. He had taken only one step inside when he caught sight of her and stopped dead. She was absolutely stunning. The dress she was wearing clung to her like a second skin and he liked what it showed off. The plunging neckline let him see her large breasts and ample cleavage, while the slits up the sides of her dresses let him see her toned shapely legs.

What really made him stop though was her face. With her hair pulled up the way it was she looked even more beautiful than she normally did and his mouth dropped open, and he just looked at her without talking for a minute. Finally he shook his head a little and then turned and closed the door and slid the privacy latch before turning back to her.

"I am sorry for staring so Amlugeth, but you are just so beautiful tonight. I am sorry you have to put up with a barbarian like myself but I am afraid these poor clothes are all that I have," he said indicating his clean but plain white linen top, and black leather pants. Both were stretched tight over his muscular frame and did little to hide the shape of what was underneath.

He smiled at her and walked over to stand before her but not too close. He had learned early that if he did people often found his height too intimidating. He picked up one of her hands in his and brought it to his lips, kissing it delicately. "You are certainly a vision any man would do anything to see." Reaching behind his back he brought out a small bottle he had been hiding in his belt. "I thought we could maybe get to know each other a little bit more over a drink my dear, after all we have all night. This is an aged port I only bring out for very special people, so it is perfect for you," he said grinning.

Amlugeth was at a loss for words. Wulf looked so handsome standing there in front of her. When he mentioned talking and getting to know each other she relaxed a little bit, but now he has wine and she only has one cup in the room. "I only have one cup in here." she says slightly embarrassed. "I also only have one chair to sit on, I don't know what I was thinking. I should have gotten another chair and cup before you arrived." Amlugeth was glancing all around her room trying to figure out what she could use as a chair and possibly another cup.

Wulf smiled at her. "Perhaps we could share the cup? This Port is rather strong and you are only supposed to sip it so one cup will be enough," he smiled. "As for the seating arrangements," he looked around and spotted a solution. "Ah well," he said blushing," You can sit on the bed and I can take the chair if you want, or if you want us to sit next to each other," he said his blush deepening," We could both sit on the bed."

Captain Harrigan

Two looming figures stood on the quarterdeck of The Wormwood. They were clearly the authorities on this ship. The taller was a huge man with skin of a deep brown color like fertile earth, a shaved head, and a braided beard trimmed with signs of all of the plunder he's seen throughout his days. Such a flagrant display of wealth designated this man as the captain. His partner was a black raven Tengu (see note below) dressed in a navy blue trench coat. A cat o' nine tails was in his hand.

Before them were a group of four people, tied up, standing and waiting to be addressed by the captain. Their primitive grass clothing mixed with tarnished old bandanna, shoes and other items mark them as survives of being stranded on a deserted island. There were two humans, a gnome wearing a foppish purple hat, and a half elf wearing a red scarf. Standing beside them, not in bondage was an Officer of the Cheliax Navy and a strange women dressed in a formal all black evening gown. Her long hair was piled high on top of her head and she wore a black mask that covered just her eyes like a carnival mask.

Captain Harrigan waited a moment before beginning his speech.

“Glad you mates could join us at last, survivors of The Orchid of the Sea mutiny. So that whore, Isabelle “Red” Lentel, sent Captain Grim and 1st Mate “One Eye” to Davy Jones' locker. Stupid sea bitch. She will regret her actions.”

The survivors seemed surprised Captain Harrigan knew so much about what had happened and it showed on their faces.

“Oh don’t be so surprised. I know everything that is happening in the Shackles.” He stated confidently as he walked stiffly across the upper deck, letting his many ornamentations jingle and ring as he moved.

“Oh, I also know ye four gave up without so much as a fight. Ye’ll be keel haul at sun down. " He ordered and turned to bark at the crow man, apparently his first mate "Mr. Jakaw! If ye’d be so kind as to torture these turncoats before I make shark food out of ’em.”

“Captain Harrigan … we were loyal to you … Please do not do this … we can tell you things about Red. Her weaknesses!” One of the survivors called out.

The captain continued to look at Jakaw. “Oh and gag them. I have important things to discuss with the Chelians.” He said showing no concern for the survivors in the least.

Captain Harrigan went into his cabin and was soon joined by the two people that had been standing next to the survivors.

The women with the black mask spoke “Captain Harrigan you are a fool. You use too much cruelty to keep order. This is how Red won her ship. Now she and her crew are pests! You must get rid of these pests. Captain Red and her crew need to die. Your position as the Chelian magistrate of the Shackles is in jeopardy if that does not happen soon.”

“Luccaria … this is my ship and ye will not talk to me like that!” Captain Harrigan snapped.

The woman walked closer to the Pirate Captain and ran her pale white hand along his face. “You have been such a good little puppet … it would be a shame if I had to kill you. But there are plenty of free captains in the Shackles that will do my bidding for coin and a position of power.” She said as she pulled her hand away from his face.

“I’ll kill the redheaded whore and her crew. Ye can count on it” Captain Harrigan confirmed.

Note: Tengus are avian humanoids whose features strongly resemble crows. They have broad beaks and both their arms and their legs end in powerful talons. Though tengus have wings and can fly. They are not good at it. Iridescent feathers cover their bodies—this plumage is usually black, though occasionally brown or blue-back. Their skin, talons, beaks, and eyes are similarly colored, and most non-tengus have great difficulty telling individuals apart. Tengus who wish to be more easily identified by other humanoids may bleach certain feathers or decorate their beaks with dyes, paint, or tiny glued ornaments. Though they are about the same height as humans, they have slight builds and tend to hunch over. A tengu's eyes sit slightly back and to the sides of his head, giving him binocular vision with a slightly more panoramic field of view than other humanoids. Like many avians, tengus have hollow bones and reproduce by laying eggs.

"Well, if we are going to share the cup then it would probably be better if we sit next to each other, " replied Amlugeth. She holds the cup out for Wulf to pour the drink for them to share and then goes over and sits on the bed in the middle but with plenty of room for Wulf to sit on either side. "So tell me, what made you become a pirate?" Amlugeth asked.

Wulf smiled at Amlugeth's suggestion and filled up the cup and then put the bottle back in his belt as he sat down on her left, towards the foot of her bed leaving a small gap between them.

"I really had no choice in the matter," He began as he looked into her eyes giving her his full attention as he began his story. "I grew up on the windswept and frozen plains far to the north. It was a harsh but good life. My tribe was a nomadic one. We followed the wild Caribou and shaggy Buffalo that roam the plains in summer, then head to the frozen waters in the winter to hunt the seals and whales and the serpents. The lifestyle makes us hardy and strong, the weak do not survive for long, but it also means we travel in small groups. The land can not support too many of us at once. This leaves us open to attacks. Sometimes from our own people, sometimes by raiders. When I was six our winter village was attacked by pirates and I was captured. Oh I killed a few of the bastards first but I was still too small," he smiled ruefully.

"Eventually I ended up on the same ship as our esteemed Captain and we became friends, helping each other out and deciding that it was best if we stopped making trouble and began to try to become what we despised until we could turn the tables on them. Well I say we but it was mainly Red's idea and I followed along. It worked too but eventually I was sent off on another ship and from the bits and pieces I heard about Red I did not think to see her again."

Wulf looked down and shook his head and drank a little from the cup then brightened up. "Luckily I had a better Captain and one who saw my worth. He worked me hard but fair, and we struck only raiders and blockade runners and never took an innocents life. I learned a lot from him and took my vengeance out on the raiders and as you can see I grew up a little," he chuckled. "Now I am back with Red and it looks like we are going to be a very busy crew."

He looked at Amlugeth and almost drowned in her eyes again, but he really wanted to know more about this alluring woman. "So you know my life story and I know a little of yours. Tell me something about yourself that only a suitor should know," he smiled charmingly.

Blade had finished cleaning his blades, since Red seemed a bit bushed, he did not go to her cabin, he stayed in the crow's nest, dozing in his hammock, but keeping a weather eye out. As the day dawned, he gave over his watch and still slept in the crow's nest. At waking he took up his watch again, this was the way he worked and unless Red had need of him, or wanted to "punish" him, he stayed at his post.

"I only have one story for everyone." Amlugeth began as she watched Wulf's face for any knowledge of any part of her story. "I was born at the same time and day as a red dragon and we were destined to be together as a team. When I was about six months old my mother took me to a neighboring village to introduce her family to me. During that time the dragon riders were called to aid in a battle and while they were away their village was raided. They killed all the people and dragons that were left behind. They knew this would weaken the dragon riders, which it did. I have
en searching for these people ever since I was old enough to go on my own. I have trained in fighting ever since I was three years old. Now I am looking to avenge my village and my dragon!"

Amlugeth hoped she was right in trusting her story with Wulf, but he didn't seem like the type who would raid a village, but after hearing his story he may have been taking by the same pirates who raided her village. If not, then maybe he could have heard something. She held her breath waiting for his reaction.

Wulf looked at her with new found respect. He felt sad for her but not pity. He knew a woman like her would not want his pity. She was a warrior, and while it was right for him to feel her loss and pain he would also acknowledge her thirst for revenge.

"Now I see why you have those beautiful dragons on your body. Even I have heard of the Dragon Riders and the marks they carry on their bodies of their partners. However I did not know they were so big or so beautiful," he gazed at her in wonder.

"Still," he began shaking himself out of his musings and pouring out another drink, urging her to drink from it, "I am thinking that is not what you want to hear from me." He began to scratch his beard and his eyes got a faraway look. "Let me think a little. I have never heard a tale such as that recently but there is an old memory that is tickling my brain from my time with Red on board Captain Harrigans ship. Someone he had dealings with was bragging how they had fooled the Dragon riders and massacred their loved ones and their 'next Generation' or something. Maybe Red and I can put our heads together and try and figure out just who it was."

He sighed and then looked at her glumly. "I am sorry I can not help you more but I will offer to help you kill the lot of them. You will need someone to watch your back while you get your revenge."
