The Real President Threatens To Take Back The Panama Canal

Each time a ship passes through the locks, about 52 million gallons of freshwater is used, which is then drained into the ocean. Sustainable water management is essential for the canal’s operation, and ongoing projects help address challenges like droughts caused by climate variability.

Maybe Panama can offer discounts to shipping companies and Nations who take climate change seriously.

🤡Trump has a concept of a plan to fix that when he recaptures the canal. 🕐It's really a basic and easy fix that everyone but Trump has overlooked since the original design concept was put on paper. We don't need any stinking locks at all–just connect the two oceans and let them run together.🌞😎

🕑Eventually like, you know, water finds its own level, and then the ships can cruise both ways without the locks. Problem solved. 🕒Panama, what's left of the washout, will keep any freshwater that remains at no charge: a gratuity and token benevolent gift of the felon.

🕓Trump can hit the links for a round of golf with President Elon and discuss what's next on his agenda by 🕔.

Easy Peasy... If you want any other questions answered, get them to me before four o'clock so I can answer them for you, after chatting with the felon's diaper carriers. It's a little known fact: they get it straight from his...

Pure conjecture.

You have no basis for declaring that a twelve-member jury voted for him. Farcical commentary, not to mention dipshit remarks, each of them.
And the really sad thing is that you have no idea how far over your head that post passed.

I might have been traveling with Elon for all you know. (or suspect)

Don’t you mean Executive Branch?
Lol
Nope.

You are the one that said that

I meant military branch.

Because I understand there aren't three executive branches and that there are multiple military branches.

I'm about 5'8" most days, so your kind of shit quickly goes over it. The sad thing is you believe your comment was humorous or erudite. To be clear, it wasn't either of those.

As to you being with Elon, who gives a rat's ass?

Yup. "Compromise Solutions" usually results in splitting control 2 out of 3 (Presidency, House, Senate)...btw the latter two are "Legislative" branches not "Executive".

Absolute control over the House, Senate, and Presidency is relatively rare.
It will be interesting to see how badly President Musk fucks things up.
I heard that Musk, as part of cuts DOGE will make, will get rid of the senate because it’s dead weight and costs bigly. DOGE will keep congress intact because it holds the purse strings.

Why don't they use salt water, pumped out of the ocean?

The fresh water lake used for filling the locks is ~ 85’ above sea level. To pump 52 million gallons of sea water for one ship’s passage would require ~ .8 gigawatthours of electricity. ($144,000 per ship at Panama’s rate of ~ $0.18/kwh)

According to Doc Brown only 1.21 gigawatts is required for time travel - but that’s a measure of instantaneous power, not energy. 😉

Panama’s Leader Takes Up Feud With Trump Over Canal Control

Panama’s president rebuffed Donald Trump’s threat to reimpose US control over the Panama Canal, saying its shipping tolls aren’t inflated and that sovereignty over the waterway isn’t negotiable.
“Every square meter of the Panama Canal and its adjacent zones is part of Panama, and it will continue to be,” President José Raúl Mulino said Sunday.

In his usual petulant 4-year-old manner, Trump replied …

After Mulino’s retort about continued Panamanian control, Trump said, “We’ll see about that!” on his Truth Social platform.

It’s hilarious when Diaper Donnie tries to be “macho”. 😆

Panama is going to win that fight. They have ALL the leverage. We really need them more than they need us.

Q: When was the last time Democrats held all 3 Branches?

A: the 1960’s.

Giggle at that!
IMO - ya got off easy having to answer how you don't have a clue what the 3 branches are.
I'm still trying to figure out how the repubs having control of all 3 has anything at all to do with the conversation of the canal. :poop::rolleyes:🤷‍♀️
No worries - no one will be waiting around for a reply to that since you've already shown you're just a dumbass cankee.

I wanted to return to this.

Excellent idea! US flagged ships and shippers would receive the deepest discounts. That would be a bonus even Trump didn't think about.

And exactly which nation do you think would be best capable of managing the water resources? The US or Panama?

HaHaHa.

I hope AB decides to not give you his time to answer this. Me? I'm gonna just laugh at how intelligent you think you are by thinking this.
