The Republican failure is complete.

Almost everybody fucked up their predictions in 2016. This isn't new. Two centuries ago, 1816 was the 'Year Without a Summer' which inspired Dickens' moth-eaten Scrooge story. Now we have Unca Scrooge in charge, No one predicted the Mount Tambora volcanic eruption in Indonesia. What laggards!

Note that over ten million more voted against Tromp than for him. The popular vote predictions were right but strategically misplaced. As Tromp repeatedly said, the election was rigged. He should acknowledge his own illegitimacy. Right.

A presidency depends on popular support, which Tromp ain't got. Stay tuned.

From Trump to Mt. Tambora in one post. I'll definitely stay tuned as you and your buddies continue losing your fucking minds over the election.

Oh?

Should Obama have resigned each of the times his approval rating sank below 40%?

How about September 2014 when it was 38%?

A couple of months later when his stated plea that his policies were on the ballot were soundly rejected by the electorate and the Republicans picked up even more seats?

Trump sure seems more popular than Hillary Clinton was.

She started with more EC votes on the board that were going to go to anyone with a 'D' after their name.

If you want to make this a popularity contest, in the only states where the two of them actually competed, Trump beat her 3 to 1 in EC votes while being out spent almost two to one.

So, a full 10 points higher than Obama was before the last mid-term election?

Should he just quit now?

Seems a little not on point, counselor, to compare incoming presidents to refute my claim that he's more popular than Hillary Clinton...who is not an incoming president.

Do you suppose the Democrats full court press campaign to delegitimize this election has anything to do with his current popularity numbers? Congratulations on dividing the country even further!

No, not much.

If you feel that villifying the incoming President and his supporters is actually not having much of an impact on his popularity, why do you, and those of your ilk, spend so much time and energy doing it?

What would be the point of the resist Trump movement if not to hamper his popularity?

Hillary supporters have consistently weaseled out of answering specific questions, or give vague answers without explaining the thinking behind it.
I detested Donald Trump before he threw his hat into the ring, but the Democrats came up with a candidate I couldn't vote for. And no, I wouldn't have voted for Bernie Sanders. And no, given the state of the Democratic party now I can't think of one I'd vote for. This is not the party that elected JFK.
I'm warming to Trump. I think tariffs are a horrible idea, but they aren't in place yet. And I do like other steps he's taken since the election.
Maybe he won't be as bad as I feared.
And thank God Hillary lost.

I said "Not much," not "Nothing." Of course it has some impact -- but Trump really needs no help to look bad.

...and my post reflected your "not much." What's your point? I didn't say that you said "nothing."

Your response was non-responsive. I asked you why do you specifically and others of your ilk spend so much time and energy vilifying Trump and his suppprters, when you are quite sure that he's simply going to implode?

It looks a little try-hard.

First, Trump and his supporters just beg to be vilified, and doing so provides at least some small bitter satisfaction. Second, I don't expect Trump to win a second term, certainly (if he'll even want one at the age of 74), but to vilify him is to vilify the GOP as well, and that matters a lot for 2018 and 2020.

Bitter and desperate to regain some of those seats that Obama's widely unpopular policies lost you over the course of the last 6 years Thank you for your candor.

I have the opposite goal in mind so I probably shouldn't point this out to you as it's against my own self-interest but those vitriolic attacks are exactly why you lost the election, and more seats. What makes you think continuing that strategy is going to yield different results?

KO, what is your explanation for Democrats losing around 900 legislative seats during your hero's eight miserable years of failure?

We already have tariffs, huh?
Out of curiosity why would you post such an opinion when you have no info and have never done any research?

The full schedule pdf is on my desktop. It's about 3,000 pages and I consult it 3x per week.

https://www.usitc.gov/2015_htsa_basic_edition.htm

(By the way it is called a "harmonized" schedule because most countries in the world use the same codes to charge their own tariffs.

Because it gets under your ilk's skin - magnificently.

8 years of Obama will be followed by Hillary. Trump was their choice, and the best they could offer as an answer to the Dems. That is a massive failure no amount of spin can fix.

The unchallenged racism and stupidity in their ranks proved terminal. The patient is dead.

Something new will come along. But, for now, let's just enjoy the pain these failing assholes are going through. They asked for it, they deserve it, and we deserve to enjoy it after dealing with all their shit.

To be bumped 11/8! :D

This post is hilarious. The unbridled certainty of it.
It reminds me of Cartman relishing Scott Tenorman's tears.
Plus, noticed that you didn't bump this on 11/8.

If pretending that you have anything to needle with makes you feel better about yourself and helps assauge the torment of your lonely exile for the next year, then you just go right on ahead and think that.

Republican Failure??????

The Presidency.

The U.S. Senate

The U.S. House of Representatives

The Legislature or Governorship of 45 of the 50 states and in many states both.

yUP LET'S HOPE FOR MORE FAILURES LIKE THAT.

Republicans run the county now...its their chance. These things run in cycles so if they fuck up, get out and vote
