You're kidding right? Federal spending has been in the red every year for the last 8 years. So you're saying give a tax cut (lower the coffers) to match increased federal spending. Your statement is contradictory to itself. If the government was operating in a surplus then you could cut taxes. But that's not the case. Federal spending needs to take a serious nose-dive, starting with no-bid contracts and contracts which have no oversight.

I didn't say anything about federal spending. I said federal income.

As millions of Americans can tell you based on their own financial problems, it's very possible to outspend your income, even if you get a raise.

We need to cut spending, yes. We desperately need to cut spending.

Dr. Martin Luther King was abusive towards women... He was wrong about that. It doesn't take away from his positive accomplishments.

You still haven't addressed how exactly Wright is racist... Because I haven't seen anything to indicate that.

If you want to talk about bigoted, we can go to the Pastor Hagees and the Jerry Fallwells, and the Ted Haggards that have supported Mccain and are tied very closely to his campaign (with the exception of Haggard, who got caught with a gay prostitute and some meth).
