The Roger Stone Case

I'm impressed you even know how to read as it's apparent you have not read the Constitution or the Mueller report.

I have a lifetime of constitutional study, the Federalist papers from which it was created, and I've read the entire Mueller Report front to back and have the .pdf on my desktop, and you?

Then there is this:

Napolitano and Stone are longtime buddies since you’re so interested in biases. And why do you constantly post Napolitano opinions like they’re the Word of God? He a fucking Fox commentator ffs.

In the end, the verdict and sentencing will be appealed. The appeals court will find several instances of misconduct by the State and jurors. Defense counsel will be scolded for ineffective assistance of counsel. (They should have known about or discovered the tainted jury forewoman's bias and brought that to the attention of the judge.)

The question will be; does any or all of that rise to the level needed to determine that the trial wasn't "fair" and/or "impartial".

That's a question only the judges on the appeals panel can answer.

I'm not a Stone fan, it's not even about sentencing guidelines. It's about the lack of strategy, a president not taking the time to think through things before tweeting something, especially something as politically charged as this was. Why give your opponent anything!!! The prez has a right to free speech, but does he want justice or do he want 30 seconds of self gratification. There are things that don't need any more publicity, more is not better, he's got bigger fish to fry. If I were Barr I would of told Trump stick the job up your ass since you know better. You have a Durham investigation that is going to be labeled a Trump revenge scheme as it is, why add fuel to the fire. Trump is a poor winner, he should take the advice "speak softly and carry a big stick". Barr should advise Trump, one more comment on DOJ activity and start looking for a new AG!

McCabe investigation closed, no charges!!

If Trump has said nothing we would still be at exactly the same place. The whole point of this exercise was for them to get slapped down by Barr, quit in a huff, and claim the Administration is covering up. The only difference is Barr would be in the hot seat instead of Trump.

The same nitwits who are claiming that the chief executive does not have the power to ask for prosecutorial discretion had zero problems with Obama doing it for an entire class of people based on nothing but the color of the skin.

Sucks to be you.

I'm OK with being in the same place but when you talk out of school you prejudice any and all decisions even if they're the right decisions. Let Barr do the slapping, let him deal with congress, he can make them look like fools. My point is let the judge do what she has to do, let Trump win the election first and then pardon Stone and Flynn the day after inauguration and stick it to them that way.

Then there is this:

‘She Probably Would Serve Jail Time If She Lied’: Judge Napolitano Says Roger Stone Juror ‘Must Have Hidden’ Bias

The jury foreperson in Roger Stone’s trial probably hid her bias, Judge Andrew Napolitano told Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Napolitano appeared Thursday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to discuss revelations that Tomeka Hart, who led the jury that convicted Stone on seven counts of making false statements, witness tampering and obstruction, may have been biased against Stone from the outset.

Carlson laid out the recent reporting as he introduced Napolitano, saying, “Is it your view a problem that the foreman of the jury in Roger Stone’s trial turned out to be a former Democratic congressional candidate who attacked Trump on Twitter and mocked concern, I think most critically, about the FBI raid on stone’s house? Why was someone like this allowed to remain on the jury?”

Napolitano responded by first acknowledging that Stone was a longtime friend but saying that he would answer the question specifically from the judicial perspective. (RELATED: Roger Stone’s Shock And Awe Arrest Is ‘An American Nightmare,’ Says Judge Napolitano)

“This is information that she must have hidden from the lawyers and the judge who interrogated her before she was put on the jury,” Napolitano began, explaining that because it was a federal case, the judge would have interrogated the jurors.

"I love the guy, but I can be totally unbiased when discussing the case against him. Now, let me explain to you why anyone who voted to convict is corrupt as hell."

Interesting admission that issuing a pardon would be politically damaging.

That the head juror once ran for office as a Democrat was brought up in the selection process. If the defense claims not to know that, the judge can say snoozers are losers.

Explains why you're such a despicably statist, Republican Party hack/a pimp for omnipotent "conservative" federal government.

Also, the Constitution was wasn't created from the Federalist papers, dumbass.

I think it's going to be a long night for you, be gentle while pulling that cactus out of your ass!

Bigsly always bores bigly. The Federalist Papers were essays designed to promote the ratification of the Constitution. They fueled public debate and understanding of constitutional and governing principles in the document that would later be carried to state conventions for ratification. They played an important part in the shaping public and political understanding of the Constitution. I don't care what the angry puritan thinks.:D

Exposing personal info of a jurist? You have lost any shred of dignity you've ever had, Mr. Constitutionalist.

Really? Who was the one that went public on twitter? Hmmm? If you're going to shoot off your mouth be prepared for the blowback.

He always has a bug up his ass but he's usually pretty accurate I'll give him that, his bedside manner sucks, LOL. He sounds more and more like NOBBYDOWNSOUTH. I guess in a way he's right if you don't allow for spirit of the conversation. Anal attentiveness to detail can somewhat be indicative to someone who has a need to be right, dialogue usually shuts down with people like that. You can tell people who want to share info and those that are strictly argumentative, ideological with zero objectivity. BotBo has a ball with those types.

Some people you can converse with where you know they know and you don't have to rewrite every thought, every word, every time. The foundation of the conversation is there and you just cut to the chase.

Coati should try to understand the discussions within the FEDERALIST papers were actually the foundation for Dickinson and Madison's creation of the Articles of the Confederation which lead to the writing of the Constitution. It was a process as I'm sure you're well aware of.

One thing for sure the more you read the more it becomes apparent that these guys were brilliant thinkers. We've had a few constitutional crises in our history and the document still stands.

Now we have the likes of Coati and other socialist who find that the electoral college is no longer subservient to their cause and therefore outdated. People don't seem to grasp to the fact the populous is always in a state of change, people change parties, demographics are always in a state of flux but the constitution is solid.

For some it seems the constitution is only a valid document when it favors their cause. I've said many times that eliminating the electoral college will have unintended consequences. Solid blue states won't be so solid blue when everyone votes. People who wear red in solid blue states, who found voting futile and didn't vote will be incentivised to go out and vote.
