The Roger Stone Case

A federal judge compared White House involvement in an investigation of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe to a “banana republic,” and accused people “at the top” of undermining the “integrity” of the judicial process, new documents revealed Friday.

(This judge was appointed by a real Republican.)

The only time the democrats rail against the electoral college is when they lose and election.

Republicans realize that without the Electoral College they’d likely never again occupy the White House. So they are duly grateful.

Why don't you wait and see what 2020 brings before you shoot your mouth off! :D:rolleyes:

Are you predicting Trump wins the popular vote then?

I think he's predicting that no matter which way the election turns out, you're still going to be an idjit.

Which isn't all that hard to predict.

You should ask for your money back.

He always has a bug up his ass but he's usually pretty accurate I'll give him that, his bedside manner sucks, LOL. He sounds more and more like NOBBYDOWNSOUTH. I guess in a way he's right if you don't allow for spirit of the conversation. Anal attentiveness to detail can somewhat be indicative to someone who has a need to be right, dialogue usually shuts down with people like that. You can tell people who want to share info and those that are strictly argumentative, ideological with zero objectivity. BotBo has a ball with those types.

Some people you can converse with where you know they know and you don't have to rewrite every thought, every word, every time. The foundation of the conversation is there and you just cut to the chase.

Coati should try to understand the discussions within the FEDERALIST papers were actually the foundation for Dickinson and Madison's creation of the Articles of the Confederation which lead to the writing of the Constitution. It was a process as I'm sure you're well aware of.

One thing for sure the more you read the more it becomes apparent that these guys were brilliant thinkers. We've had a few constitutional crises in our history and the document still stands.

Now we have the likes of Coati and other socialist who find that the electoral college is no longer subservient to their cause and therefore outdated. People don't seem to grasp to the fact the populous is always in a state of change, people change parties, demographics are always in a state of flux but the constitution is solid.

For some it seems the constitution is only a valid document when it favors their cause. I've said many times that eliminating the electoral college will have unintended consequences. Solid blue states won't be so solid blue when everyone votes. People who wear red in solid blue states, who found voting futile and didn't vote will be incentivised to go out and vote.

Seems to me if we get rid of the electoral college the six biggest states in America, one third of the population will elect Presidents from then on. A sure remedy for breaking up the Union if it could be imposed by edict, which it can't, and I don't see the majority of states signing on to an amendment stripping them of their rights and ceding their voice in presidential elections to a minority of larger states.

I think it could have just the opposite effect.

1. districts = 1 vote disappear, red and blue lines would dissolve. States could be redistricted by population since electoral votes would be a thing of the past.

2. house members would vote on issues more aligned with their constituents rather than party loyalty.

3. I believe a more representative government could be a bi-product of eliminating that 1 vote towards the college. Reps would maybe vote on the merits of a bill rather than party line.

4. each house member would have 1 vote towards a bill and nothing more, I think the tendency would be to represent their constituents rather than the speaker's intention.

5. the speaker would truly become the house administrator, keeping tract of bills rather than members and how they vote!

6. I think more voters would go to the ballot. How many voters don't vote because of party dominance. In my state reps go unopposed because of party dominance.

Not saying it would be good or bad, just a few thought of what it could look like without a college. I don't believe large blue populated ares would have the advantage the left seems to think they would have.

The judge forgets the President is the top law enforcement officer in America, especially when the FBI and the DOJ are rottenly corrupt at the top. That judge must have thought Chiquita was running the government when Obama was President and constantly sticking his ever sprouting nose into one legal case after another.

A sentiment echoed by a San Francisco homeless person just after they shit on the sidewalk. Free opinions are worthless.

I have a lifetime of constitutional study, the Federalist papers from which it was created, and I've read the entire Mueller Report front to back and have the .pdf on my desktop, and you?

Obsessed with the irrelevant vote, most people who don't understand what the USA is are.

And they are almost entirely on the left too.

And who appointed the heads of these outfits, moron?

He inherited many of them and removed many, but there are deep state saboteurs like Ciaramella and Lt. Col "Oh Say Can You See" Vindman, throughout the administration, carefully recruited, encouraged, and placed by Obama conspirators over his 8 year period.

How many had Trump himself appointed who are no longer there? Pull your head out of Trump's wide ass.
