The Sec State Just halted All Foreign Aid For 90 Days

It requires them to obey the lawful orders of the President and the law.
Every federal agency has its own mission statement, and a recognized zone of political independence from the WH. The "unitary executive" theory was bullshit in the W years and is nothing different now.

That is 100% Bullshit:

"President Trump is well within his power to remove members of the executive branch at will. In Seila Law v. CFPB (2020), the Supreme Court held that Congress could not protect officers of the United States from removal by the President. ... In Seila Law, the Court said that the only officers that Congress might be able to protect are those that are members of multi-body commissions, like the FCC or the SEC,"

"The Inspectors General do not have that status; they are simple members of the executive branch agencies. Even if Congress attempts to place conditions on their removal, those conditions are unconstitutional. Any Inspector General that attempts to challenge their removal in court — they would still have to leave office and just sue for back pay — will be wasting their money in lawyers fees."

In addition to the above "all" Executive Branch departments and personnel are subject to the authority of the President.

A period of time to review where all of our money is going and to see if Joe Biden is wasting our money on extreme left wing causes and globalist aims. I suspect our foreign aid amounts will be drastically reduced.
Correct. And to stop spending or providing weapons to Ukraine. If Europe wants war let them fight it. The US will again apply sanctions and the [soon] reduction in the price of oil will shackle the Russian ability to wage war. Next to the boarder, DEI and other impossible gender nonsense, stopping the Ukraine invasion and not starting any new wars was the next priority that brought Trump back to power.

That's John Yoo, you idiot. He has no credibility. This is why:

John Choon Yoo (Korean: 유준; born July 10, 1967)[2] is a South Korean-born American legal scholar and former government official who serves as the Emanuel S. Heller Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Yoo became known for his legal opinions concerning executive power, warrantless wiretapping, and the Geneva Conventions while serving in the George W. Bush administration, during which he was the author of the controversial "Torture Memos" in the War on Terror.

As the deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) of the Department of Justice, Yoo wrote the Torture Memos to determine the legal limits for the torture of detainees following the September 11 attacks. The legal guidance on interrogation authored by Yoo and his successors in the OLC were rescinded by President Barack Obama in 2009.[3][4][5] Some individuals and groups called for the investigation and prosecution of Yoo under various anti-torture and anti-war crimes statutes.[6][7][8][9]

A report by the Justice Department's Office of Professional Responsibility stated that Yoo's justification of waterboarding and other "enhanced interrogation methods" constituted "intentional professional misconduct" and recommended that Yoo be referred to his state bar association for possible disciplinary proceedings.[10][11][12][13] Senior Justice Department lawyer David Margolis overruled the report in 2010, saying that Yoo and Assistant Attorney General Jay Bybee—who authorized the memos—had exercised "poor judgment" but that the department lacked a clear standard to conclude misconduct.[14][12]

<falsehood snip> John Yoo
If you, Derpy and BoBo are having a three-way competition to see who can create the most vile shitpost, I'm delighted to inform you that you have now jumped to the top of the leaderboard by citing John "Waterboard" Yoo as an authority on anything.

The man is evil. I don't make statements like that lightly.

The United States is in a major financial crisis. You guys (and us up North) can't afford to be giving away our money anymore.

And the governments never should have been doing so in the first place.
Your government's financing the war in Ukraine is, I suspect, putting a serious financial strain on your country as well, Mr. Vladimir Sucktoyov.

What "material" benefit do we get from our investments in NATO?
For example: Denmark and Sweden control Russia's Access and Egress to the North Atlantic from the Baltic. That Geography + the Nato membership is worth far more to the USA than pissing Denmark off over the Greenland nonsense. Ask your Strategy expert Chloe for her assessment of the value to the USA of Nato controlling the Oresund Strait and the Great Belt. And that other Nato member Turkey has got similar control over access to the Med from the Black sea. The Nato alliance now ensures that Russia's best access to a warmish water Port is Vladivostok! That is super cheap defence by any standard.

If they had to defend themselves they'd control those spaces themselves. Turkey's military is large enough to deter Russia's access to those waterways. Even little Ukraine has altered Russia's access to the Black Sea.

The only list anyone cared about what your "dead celebs" yearly list/contest.

Well, they only cared until everyone realized that you were cooking the list in order to give yourself a participation trophy for it. Since then, no one fucking cares what a welsher thinks.

Supreme Court denies Trump administration request to cancel $2 billion in foreign aid

This should have been an obvious unanimous decision, but some of the Justices don’t believe in the separation of powers! 😬

Four of the court’s conservatives — Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh — dissented.

“Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer to that question should be an emphatic ‘No,’ but a majority of this Court apparently thinks otherwise. I am stunned,” Alito wrote, joined by the three others.

That’s a pathetic argument, Alito. What an imbecile.

Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch and FratBoy are openly demonstrating they are MAGA sheep in favor of a dictatorship.

Did hisarpy pass way? Been a bit
He claims to not visit the PB when he's writing a story. Usually about 30 days absence. I think its those months he can't afford to pay his internet bill.
