The system presumably keeps records of everyone who pays into the system or who receives or who has received benefits from the system, living and dead. The system presumably has a lot of people on their list who are, say, 25 years old (because they are contributing to the system), but that doesn't mean they are receiving payments from the system!

First of all, it doesn't appear that President Trump has identified any "corruption" other than that he's engaged in himself (just ask why the mayor of New York seems to be his friend now!) and how could he, as he's dispensing with all the inspectors general and FBI investigators etc.

Second, the sequence is: identify the corruption in the army, stop the corruption. The sequence is not: abolish the army, claim that there is no more corruption in the army because there is no more army.

Trump has not abolished the Army but we have cut our military many times after wars end. Many of the institutions in DC serve no practical purpose other than to employ non-productive people in unnecessary tasks that benefit them an not the American people. We are on the verge of bankruptcy and must cut the government's waste fraud and abuse which is legion.

I think we can all agree that former military members with a disability living in Massachusetts should definitely stop being sent wasteful government entitlements and make them stop being treated on the taxpayers dime by the bloated VA system and have their lazy asses fund their own healthcare privately like everyone else.
