The Seven Keys.

Cali

I let my sword and whip fall to my side, automatically slipping the whip into its sheath.
Swaying a bit I smiled up Yris. I was a bit worried- he looked a bit ashen but still alive. That was a good thing.
I watched Trianna's wolf tug the evil sorcerer toward us and felt a ping of fear for the creature.
But there was no calling it off- the forest elf was out cold.
I sighed, and slung the family sword over my left shoulder. I was already coated in plant slime, little more wouldn't hurt me.
I called out to the guards and those around us.
"Those that helped us this night, all of them, will be allowed to leave without fight unless they start something," I called out, voice regal and a bit tired. "If they start something, let me know, and things shall be taken care of. Do I make myself clear?"
There was a cry of affirmation from the guards that ringed the clearing.
"That said, I'm keeping my sword," I said, keeping my fist tight about it. "So no wild ideas, okay? Its too late for that tonight."

The demon destroyed, I smiled at my companions. We worked together very well. We fought together very well, each of us doing exactly what we were supposed to do as if we had been fighting together for our entire lives. Casting spells, calling in allies of all shapes and sizes, fighting the beast head on..... Our tactics were nearly flawless. I was never prouder to be on the side of good as I was right then.

I was approached by many elven warriors I had fought with before each offering words of praise and thanks, honor and concern. I had not taken injury during the fight and many of my former allies were relieved to hear that, despite the fact that none of them chose to join in.

Then I saw her.

Trianna was passed out on a stairwell. I fought through the confused crowd, shoving aside nobles and servants alike. I hurried up the stairs and knelt beside her. I ran my hand down her face. I checked her pulse. She was alive, just unconscious. She was in the clear, she just needed to sleep.

I lifted her up in my arms and carried her back to her room. I kicked the door and called out to Tana inside. The door opened slowly. I was nearly knocked over by Growls, who had to have been going crazy not being able to answer Trianna's call for help. I saw a look of concern on Tana's face. The Gods were really runing her through an emotional wringer tonight.

"She's fine, she just passed out," I explained as I laid Trianna down on the bed. "I think it's because of all the animals she had called to her," I looked at Growls. "I'm sorry you couldn't have been there, friend."

I removed my armor with Tana's help and quickly sat beside Trianna. I took her hand in mine.

"I'll be here until you wake up, Trianna. I promise."

Yrismir

Yrismir grunted, the feeling of warm blood running down him. There were cuts, punctures, and gashes almost everywhere on him. He felt the sick feeling of his own life slipping away from a thousand cuts barely big enough to bleed.

He clutched his hands around his staff, and looked at those who had stayed out of the fight. The evils who would not even fight for their own existence. Helpless puppets of the Dark Gods. Gods of manipulation and lust for power. He looked at the wizard, and made a choice.

"And why does everything have to be white and black?" he called out to the wizard. "Come to the Neutral Zone sometime, and see if shades of grey won't fit you better?"

He held his arm out, channeling dark powers absorbed into the staff along with his own meager power, and cast a small spell, all he could gather the power for. The wolf pulled back from the wizard, and left, back to its own pack, its own simple life. No more a puppet to the wiles of the speakers of nature.

He turned, leaning heavily on his staff, and looked at Cali for support. "Take this grey hero to his rooms? I need a surgeon, and rest. And probably some elven wine, so I don't get drunk. There is much to do, though I am glad I will be less burdened for it. And get someone to send the animals home. They have survival enough to worry about."

Cali

I nodded at Yris. "We both need healers, Yris."
I turned to my people and seconded Yris' requests. "See the mage and his people are settled if they like. They are free to leave when they're ready but after they leave this temporary truce is over."
Yris looked at me in a way I felt I had to answer, albiet in a quiet whisper. "I will not tell my people they are safe, for they are not. They'll kill the lot of us if they can. But for your word, I'd throw them all out of here."
I swayed a bit on my feet for a moment before forcing my body to steady itself. It worked, but barely, not that I was about to admit it. "Okay, lets get everyone settled in thier rooms. Yris, come with me. Someone- you there in the brown tunic, can I ask you a favor? No, stop fawning like that, get up, damn it. Thank you. Now fetch a healer or surgion to my room immediatly and send someone else to ask for my father's presence at his leisure."
I was acting completely- I'd played the royal princess before, though that had been in a treasure scam for my Guild. The fact that my audience knew I was a real princess didn't alter the act for me- I didn't feel like a princess. Me, Calixte Mercer, was not a princess and I didn't know this Princess Calixte of Elfdom (or whatever this kingdom's called) yet.

Trianna

As the animals left, the pressure of the multitude of voices inside of Trianna's mind eased and she gave an audible sigh, her eyes flickering open for a moment.

Looking around, she was confused to where she was and it took a few moments to realize she was in her room once again. A wet tongue on her hand alerted her to Growl's presence and she lifted it to rest on his large head.

Squinting, she focused on the others in the room and smiled when she saw Tana peering at her with an ashen face. Next her eyes came to rest on Ramas and it was then that she realized he had her other hand in his.

'Oh!" She said softly and tried to rise from the bed only to fall back against the pillows, a headache pounding in her temples, the sudden movement causing it to flare up noticibly.

"Ouch!" Trianna closed her eyes and let out another sigh. "I have seen Father call several different animals to him at once and not once did he suffer a headache! I've never tried it before though and I suppose it was just too much to take in without preparation."

Letting her eyes open again, she smiled at Ramas. "We won! I saw the ending. You fought bravely." She squeezed his hand. "I apologize for not being able to last through the whole thing, though. How are the others?"

"Everyone is fairly banged up," I said to her with a smile. "Yrismir seems to have a blow to his leg. I think Cali got a couple of nasty cuts, but no serious injuries. My armor protected me from all but the slightest cuts. But you..... You had me worried."

I tightened my hand around hers while smiling at her warmly.

"Seeing you slumped against the stone floor like that. I thought something horrible had happened and I had missed it. But that's obviously not the case." I took a deep breath. "You should rest now. Seems like you were just telling me to do that not so long ago," I chuckled. "I'll be returning to my room. I'm sure Growls can perform guard duty just as well as I can. Good night, Trianna."

I leaned down and kissed her gently on the cheek. I ran a hand down the left side of her face and looked at her deeply. I stood, my eyes never leaving hers before turning quickly and walking out into the hallway.

It took Goven the longest time to answer... mostly cause he didn't see the logic in it himself. His own group didn't look like the ones, the friends he should be a part of. They held too much confidence, too much power, too much under their eyes, something you couldn't see, but knew was wrong.
But, he had it to, didn't he? Goven had that look, yes, more than most. He held that same look.
But, that wasn't the reason. He had signed a contract.
The good gods only asked for champions, but the evil gods knew that at one point in time, someone might have a change of heart, a chance of retribution, they might see the team of evil for what they truly were.
"They have me. Far more than even I give them credit for. If I even came to the middle, to the gray area, I'm sure I wouldn't see another sunrise. The good gods may pray on the kindness of strangers, but those of evil keep their champions on a short leash. If i don't go with them..."
He looked over at Nexus. The woman who defined him here, his beaten acceptance to go down the wrong path.
"If I don't follow her orders... death would be the least of my problems."
There was no way out of a contact signed in blood... not even by a mage as powerful as him.
"Good luck, and please forgive me for what I need to do."

Tana had watched the entire battle by the window and frantically tried to do something, but what she had no idea.. What could she, a normal human that had no power within her or whatever do?

Still she closed her eyes and prayed and hoped that help would come to save their friends.. then suddenly it looked as though someone had come to join the fight.. she looked down and much to her surprise her former captor threw in with the side of good. She shook her head.. she didnt understand .. first the kind words at the ball, then .. this... it seemed so odd...

She jumped when Ramas came into the room with trianna looking like she was for dead.. when Ramas explained to her that she was okay.. she took one last look out of the window .. only to see that her companions offered their enemies a place to stay.. and her captor ...refused.. something within her tugged at her heart.. he looked so sad.. as though he wished he didnt have to do what he was doing...

She decided she would pray for him... SHe prayed in all that was good and holy to find a way for the wizard to be free or happy. Suddenly she knew that if she ever got caught again .. they would do nothing to harm her .. simply because of the wizard that was with them.

As the young woman-child entered their tribe the little boy ran towards the main hut. A few men in long robes stepped out and the little boy pointed the new commer out. It was apparent she was not from any where near the capital.

An elderly ork walked towards the woman-child and asked, "Child, I am a member of the council here.. is there a reason you come to the capitol of the Nuetral lands?"

*************************

Liliana waited until things got settled outside and headed towards her new niece's room knowing that a certain green skinned friend of hers would be there as well and they would both need the attention of a healer..

She smiled as she knocked on the door to rouse them from whatever conversation they may have been having.. It would be interesting to see how much Yris had changed form the last time she attempted to help heal the man's wounds.. the man was a bigger whiner last time than he a drunk this time....

*******************

finally .. .seriously these oeacocks jsut dont stop Im surprised they were completely oblivious to anything but themselves Tildiir stormed into his room tore off his courtly vestments putting one of his favored tunics on and slipped into the secret passage within his dressing room.. He had places he needed to go and people he desperately needed to talk to ... immidiately ...

Ellie decided she wold help with the clean up outside, knowing that at least one member of the royal family should be there to supervise the clean up. She nodded to the group of the other side and she pitied them ... it was they that would lose thier souls for the contracts they made with their gods.. she nudged the newly formed green vined gates to open so that they could successfully leave..

She wondered where they were off to next.. and whether she would ever see them again...

Trianna

As Ramas began to leave, Trianna knew she didn't want him to go. She had a sudden urge to call him back but could not think of a reason why.

Then her eyes fell on Tana and the worried look on her face and she called out to him.

"Ramas! Don't...go...Tana needs protection and...she...I...we would both feel much better if you would stay with us."

Yrismir

Yrismir waited, hearing the wizard's reply. He made the gesture and spoke the words he had been taught during his apprenticeship. The man was surely doomed. He could only wish him well, and kill him swiftly if the chance came.

Rarely did people see the decency in their enemies, and Yrismir had. If the world were differnt, maybe he could have been saved, could have... Yrismir grunted, and managed to follow Cali, turning towards the rooms. He was bleeding, his legs had deep cuts, and he had smaller wounds all over his body. Now was not the time to be philisophical.

That would be when they were on their way out of here, and on to the next key. Which would be...? He sighed, realizing the need to call upon his mother once more. It would take days to regain enough power to do so.

He sighed. Well, since they weren't going going anywhere anyway,...maybe he should go home. His shortsword wouldn't do now that his staff no longer commanded the powers of the Dark Mage. He'd need Kinslayer again.

"By the Gods today is turning out badly..."

Baddies

Nexus grabbed Goven's arm and took him towards the inn that the rest of them were heading off to, she knew that the man was deranged from holdding that sword for so long.. but actually helping them ... it was so out of there ..

as they got to their rooms she felt the tugging of her master... and knew they were heading off somewhere else .. perhaps deep into the underground... where they could find things that might occupy an insane mage's mind

Snider grabbed the girl and shut the door behind him. Practically throwing the girl to the other side of the bed he said, " I believe you have to fullfill a promise you made to me earlier.." he smiled cruelly .. this would be the perfect distraction that he needed to drown himself in... HE couldnt believe it ... he dammed little brother had lived!!! This was something he had not expected... no one had ever lived throught that poison

yes distractions that was what he needed

I stopped stiff when Trianna called my name. I felt my heart skip a beat. She wanted me to stay.

I turned around and walked back to Trianna's side.

"I'll gladly stay the night," I said warmly.

Cali

Things were winding down.
The badies were in their rooms, according to a report from a courtier who'd escorted them, the rest of our party was getting whatever help they wanted and I was perched on the ornate chest at the foot of my bed, Yris sitting on a chair near by being tortured, I mean helped by a surgion with healing skills.
Considering she'd told me I'd need stitches, I was all for her taking her time with Yris.
Stupid plant thing had caused quite a few small lacerations and a few larger ones on my torso and arms.
I yawned hugely, waves of exhaustion washing over me. The sword lay behind me on the bed, clean and humming quietly, though I didn't think anyone else could hear it. Made a mental not to get a sheath and belt made for it that was fireproof.
The king walked in, anxiety radiating from him. A small part of me said I should rise for him but the rest of me said to screw it. I went with the rest but did raise my head off of my knee.
"Hi, how's everything?"

Tildiir looked at his daughter... he had a daughter.. it still amazed him.. he was glad that the gods had blessed him with something that was from his love Calixte.. He missed her so.. After all the moblizing of his guards, he had been anxious to see how she was doing.. and now that he saw .. he wasnt too happy with it..

He saw the sword, " I see you got what you all came to look for .." he wondered briefly if the hum he was hearing was from the sword.. "May I see it?" After examining it he realized suddenly that it lived again.. "You know .. my father used to say that it was a special one.. he used to say that it could be anything he needed .. whether it was killing someone .. or opening closed temple doors.. it could do or be anything.. He turned from the sword and looked at his sister tending to yris.. ah yes it still amazed him that the hybrid was still doing the fighting thing.. perhaps he had been blessed just as Tenora had been ... he did vaguely recall something about a son... something he was concerned the actual ties between him and his daughter.. but he decided he wouldnt interfere.. it would simply be to hypocritical.. he was only concerned with his daughters happiness and hoped that the green skinned fellow knew that if anything happened to her .. he might hunt him down himself..

He knew someone he could get to actually keep on eye on those two.. someone that might be interested in fighting and ale.. and perhaps a few heroic tales..

***************

Tana watched Trianna and hoped she was alright figuring that she would tend to her she brought a bowl full of water and wet a cloth to put over her forehead hoping the pain in her head would be eased.

Everyone once in a while she would get up and check things around the room and a few time helped Ramas with things she might need.

She would be there when Trianna was feeling better.. periodically nuzzeling growl's neck. with hers. She had become quite attached to the wolf.. and knew that he was just as worried as she was.. .

Trianna

Trianna smiled and slipped her hand into Ramas' giving his a squeeze.

"Thank you," She said and her eyelids fluttered, threatening to close, the security of him being there causing the drowsiness to push at her once again.

She laughed. "I'm afraid I'm not going to be very good company, though. I think the Gods are telling me that I need sleep. They keep sending the Goddess of Dreams to drag me into the dream world."

Looking over at Tana, smiling gratefully as she tried to bathe her head, she said,"As for you...it is time for sleep for all of us. Reseal the door as you have seen me do and then you must go to your bed. Growls will accompany you and stay with you the night and Ramas will be right here if you become scared at all."

Trianna's eyelids drooped again and she yawned. "I think I will listen to the Goddess. Her world beckons me." She said sleepily and allowed her mind to wander, sleep drawing her deeply into a healing slumber.

She could feel herself spiraling downward, going deeper into sleep than she usually did and knew that something was about to happen for there was only one time that she had slept this deep and had an awareness after falling asleep and that had been when the Gods had sent a vision telling her she was chosen for this quest.

Trianna felt as if she were falling lightly through the air and relaxed, letting what would happen, happen.

Suddenly, she was not falling anymore but was running through her beloved forest, the trees heavy with leaves, the cool air rushing as she ran faster than she had ever run before. She could hear her own laughter as the wind whipped up her hair and she dodged in and out of the bushes and low hangind branches, her spirit soaring with the freedom of being outside once again surroiunded by her natural element.

And then she broke through some particularly low hangind leaves and comes to a stop in the middle of a very familiar clearing, the moonlight shining in a circle, illuminating the area within. And within that light stands the unicorn that had started her on this quest.

Staring at his beauty once more, Trianna's breath is taken away and she bows deeply and respectfully to him. When she raises her head she can see that there is now a man standing where the unicorn once had, diamond dust swirling about him just as it had the unicorn and she knew instantly that they were one and the same.

The man, as beautiful in human form as he had been in unicorn form, looked out but did not seem to see Trianna. Instead, he turned from her to his right, his delicate hand stretched out as if beckoning someone from the darkness of the trees.

Trianna's eyes moved to where his attention was and she saw a young girl come from the trees, her movements graceful, her raven hair flowing about her face, her skin golden as if the sun had kissed it lightly.

As the woman approaches the unicorn man, he casts a spell, his voice a mere murmur in the silence surrounding them all and Trianna gasps as the woman turns into a unicorn herself, her form smaller than that of the man, her horn almost invisible it was so small but Trianna's sharp elvin eyes could see the small projection as the man bent down to nuzzle the soft, pure skin of the unicorn woman.

His voice, like a soft breeze comes to Trianna's ears. "soon Galeana.. soon... we will be together soon.... I have waited a millenia for this and the gods owe me...you must stay pure for me.. please ... I love you ... "

With those words, the female unicorn shifted shapes once again and became the lovely woman of before. Lifting her face to the man, she places her arms about him, hugging him tight. Tears now run down the man's face, turning into diamond dust as they fall and his form shifts back into that of a unicorn.

The girl stands there, her head only coming up to the back of the male unicorn, her hand lightly resting on his neck as he looks Trianna's way. But Trianna's attention is caught by something else. A locket hangs around the girl's neck, the moonlight shining directly on it as if the Gods were trying to get the elvin woman's attention upon that very thing.

The locket glinted in the moonlight and she could make out the shape of a star engraved into it. The word Moonstar sounded in her ears just as the man's whispered words had and, at that moment the woman looked over at Trianna and she could hear her own gasp of surprise as their eyes met.

The eyes were familiar...too familiar....she had looked into them only a short while ago. The golden brown orbs locked onto Trianna's and she found she could not pull her gaze away.

And then Trianna was sitting up in bed with a jerk, her eyes wide, her breathing uneven and she found herself staring into those eyes once again, this time they had a worried expression in them as if asking if she was okay and it took Trianna a moment to readjust her awareness to the waking world.

Blinking, she enfolded Tana in her arms and held her tight. "Everything is going to be fine," She said, wondering as she said it if it was really true and deciding not to tell Tana about her vision for she was sure it was sent directly from the Gods but for what purpose she did not yet know.

Holding Tana at arms, length, she said,"I thought I told you to go to bed. We have a long journey still and you need your rest. I promise I am fine. Now scoot....off to bed with you..."

Trianna looked down at Growls,"And you...letting her stay up....honestly...go on the both of you. Get some sleep."

As they reluctantly went to their own room, Trianna looked around for Ramas. She wanted to share her vision with someone and felt a need to discuss what to do about the vision with someone she trusted, respected...and cared for.

Yrismir

Yrismir grunted, intent on his arm, where he was tending to the cuts from the thorns when it had attacked him. Well, at least everything had worked out all right. He sighed, and looked up at the King.

"We're leaving in the morning, Tildiir. Sorry to say it, but I'm going to have to take your daughter away from you. You know, work of the Gods and all. I suggest taking the time to get your people used to the fact they have and heir who isn't pureblood, and root out those who might have serious problems with it while she's well out of the reach of an assassin's dagger."

He went back toi tending to his arm, trying hard not to think about where they'd be heading in the morning.

Cali

I smiled thankfully at Yris. His people need time to get used to me- heck I wasn't even really aware of having people yet. It was... strange to say the least.
"Ki-... Da-.... Father of mine, I have to leave on the morrow," I said, cutting him off from any protest. "Before I was a princess, I was a rouge of my word. Being the former does not cancel out the later."
I got to my feet, made my self give a performance worthy of the Rouge Queen herself.
"As a woman of my word, I gave my word that I would see this quest through to the very end, to do everything I can to help the side of good prevail." I paused for dramatic contrast before going on.
"With Yris and Trianna and Ramas and Tana and everyone else, we shall fulfill this quest till the end. I must be there with them. Its not a question, it is a fact. My presence here tonight allowed us to control the sword and more. I will be needed to control the sword in the future."
As if it I called it, the sword flew from the bed to my hand, flashing happily once there. I wanted to roll my eyes but didn't. "See, Father, I must go. The sword and the Gods themselves demand it.
"What kind of ruler would abandon a quest like this in front of her people? Surely not one I would ever serve, nor would you I imagine. I will return when this quest is done, the world is safe and I am whole. Until then, all you can do is pray for our safe return."
I let the sword fall to my side, graceful if a little heavily. "I would ask a favor though."
"Name it, Calixte my daughter."
"Can I have a real sheath for this thing? And a sword belt? Its not going to fit on the belt I keep my light sword on, you know."
"Of course, it will be ready before you leave tommorow," my father said with a nod.
"Thank you," I said, bowing slightly. I laid the sword on the bedstand next to my bed. "Now if we're done, I'd like to get patched up and get some sleep. I'm exhausted."

Micaelae,Ambrasia,and Lucia

Micaelae had sighed and watched thw whole thing, then nodded to the two women."i think it would be wise to retire to a room here for the night".The three of them melted into the crowd, the people pulling back in fright and disgust,a guard even going so far as to draw his sword, only to have it rust and fall apart in his hands. The surprised guard gulped as Micaelae tipped his chin up to meet his half normal/half leering skull of a face."Don't even think of it,I'm tired and I have a terrible headache,I may misfire a spell and accidently kill you."He said it calmly, then smiled and drifted back to his rooms, the two women glaring at each other and the surrounding crowd, though there faces were drawn and they looked exhausted.

Cecilia

Cecilia only gave a husky sigh."Finally M'Lord"She murmered meekly, her arms reaching up,trailing fingers along Snider's chest like snakes, his clothes dissapearing slowly, leaving bareskin as they dissolved into a wraithy form, then dissapeared like fog in the sun.

He body filled out some more as she drew him down to her,her body soft and yielding as she grinned ferally.

Even after everyone had left for the night, wearing their own battle scars, two warriors still stood ready and poised. The dwarf had not given up his immortal death watch, and the ogre too could not wander from him nemesis.
They each barely stood their ground, blood running down their legs like wine freshly poured, bright and joyous. Their breath came short and haggered. They took swings that were short, and barely threatening. Two drunken boxers that had lasted long into the night.
The dwarf was too tired to fight, and his leg brought sharp amounts of pain every time he stood on it. He could no longer fight, but that didn't stop him.
The ogre had deep gashes all along his body, some cutting into each other. He had a pale color to him, which was more than obvious seeing as how he was a greyish color to begin with. He wavered back and forth as he stood up, seeing double in his vision.
The fight between the immortal hadn't even slowed them down. They continued their blows as vines wrapped around their legs, their swords, and even as the plant disappeared around them.
It wasn't until the ogre fell down, unconscious that the dwarf let out a soft victory cry, raising up his axe.
But, the weight of it carried him backwards, and he fell down flat... too tired to do anything else but breathe for a while.
The two immortal enemies caught their breath.

"We need to leave," Goven was firm on this. The hospitality might be nice enough for the rest of them, but he wouldn't have it. He didn't want to spend a second longer here than he had to.
"Come on, let's go. I'm sure there are other places for us to visit. Other things for us to conquer."

I had found myself smiling at Trianna as she let sleep take her. I carassed her hair absent mindedly as I thought about the days events and how out of control it had all been. I thought long and hard on the ball, being knighted, pledging loyalty to our new princess, fighting with Snider, staring death in the face three seperate times, how that insane mage had apparently gone over to our side only to fall back to his own and how I thought I was falling for.......

Trianna awoke with jerk that caught me with such surprise I tumbled off the bed and to the floor with a loud thud. Sitting up straight, I leaned over and put my chin on the edge of the bed and looked up at Trianna as though I had meant to fall to the floor.

"Bad dream?"

Trianna

Trianna blinked at Ramas, only then registring the thud that had signalled he had fallen. Pressing her lips together to prevent a smile at his expense, she waited until Tana had exited the room before gesturing for him to sit beside her once again.

"I have had a vision," She said, her voice low so that she had to lean toward Ramas to be heard. She did not want Tana overhearing as the young girl had been through enough already.

Slowly and clearly, she told Ramas of the vision she had had, pausing after she had explained it all...even to where she had woken up to find Tana had eyes similar to the woman in the vision.

"I don't know yet what it means but I think the Gods are trying to tell me something," She said, her mouth pursed a bit as she thought,"I only wish I could decipher it."

Baddies

Nexus gestured towards the open portal once more and smiled, "shall we be on our way gentlemen and ladies?? we have much to accomplish.."

Snider smiled extremely satisfied with himself, it was rare that he was able to find someone with such an eagerness to please and meet his enthusiams for his tastes.. He smiled at the girl Cecilia was her name.... perhaps he wouldnt break her too quickly... there was much potential in that one.. so much to use, and the powers within her help her to endure much..

Micaelae, Ambrasia, And Lucia

Micaelae shrugged his shoulders, groaning softly and squitning aganst the soft light, looking as if he had a hangover. The leering, half skull of his face seemed more dismal then usual, drooping and seeming to be giving an almost pitiful bony grin.He shaded his eyes."yes...lets just leave.."

Ambrasia fussed and coo'd and simpered ove rher Lord until he waved an irritable hand to her chattering, her mouth suddenly clamping up.She squeaked and squirmed, hands scrabbling at her lips.Lucia only chuckled softly and tugged Micaelae's hood over his head, shieding him from most of the light.
"ahh..thank you Lucia.."He muttered, then snapped his fingers, the three of them dissapearing.

Cecilia

The two sisters had talked, rather angrily, before the meeting, the topic mostly on which of the two was more of a Tramp.Lucia wiht her Micaelae,or Cecilia with her Snider.

Cecilia sighed, her sister could be so stiff on her but ignore her own words. She snuggled closer under Sniders arm, almost purring as she remembered the night before. She wanted more,She would not break so easily as she was sure he had done to many girls.Oh no,she Wanted more.

I furrowed my brow as Trianna told me of her vision.

"I'm no mystic, but I do know what Lan told me before he sent be on this quest," I leaned forward and placed my lips near Trianna's ear. "He told me to protect Tana with my life. That somehow, she is one of the keys. The others may suspect this, but I doubt they know for certain. "

"That locket....." I looked inward for what it reminded me of. "Her mark. That seems to indicate the star on Tana's hand. This too much for a warrior like me to decipher. I think that we should consult Yrismir. He might be able to shed more light on this vision."

I brushed some stray hair out of Trianna's face. "But now, let's sleep. Tomorrow we'll talk with Yris and head out to find someone who can tell us what it means for sure."

I lied down next to Trianna and placed an arm around her. This truely was becoming a most interesting adventure.
