The Sky Pirates (closed)

Rowena found herself on her knees with blood pouring down her face. She brought herself into a crouch, knowing her nose was destroyed. A life time of violence flashed before her. Her father's heavy hands. The sticks and rocks of the gangs she had fought against. The lashes across her back and the men she had killed. What was life than violence? She knew that she could survive if she just stayed down, but it wasn't in her to do so. If she was going to die, she would try to take that fucking bitch with her.

She lifted the ruined mask that was her face and screamed. She shot forward out of her crouch, keeping low. She did not care what happened to her if she could just grab her and carry over the side of the ship with her.

The crew was screaming with blood lust, though it was hard to tell who they were screaming for. Skylark realized at the last second what Rowena intended and screamed and ran at her, but it was to late.

The crazy woman had charged at her, grabbed her around the waist and shoved them both at the railing. Cynthia hit it with painful force and felt her legs slipping out from under her. She had managed to pull the cutlass tightly in her hand with her and she let out a gasp when the free fall caught her. Part of her wanted to beat that woman to death with a stick, the other feared for her life. There was no parachute to save her, or partially help her in this fall. And with a last ditch effort she stabbed the cutlass into the side of the ship. Barely digging in enough to give her the brief second to slip her fingers into a knot in the wood. Her fingers burned with the strain of supporting both hers and Rowena's weight.

"You crazy bitch!" She cursed, wrestling to find another hand hold and struggling to dislodge the woman who was now face first in her crotch and slipping down further. The bucket of soapy water making any grip difficult.

Cynthia would find this womans corpse and kill her again if she even thought of biting her. So help her god.

With a firm knee, she cracked the First Mate in the jaw and flung herself about rather madly, her fingers holding firm but the cutlass started to pry itself free. She only had a second or two before they would both fall to their deaths. Probably still fighting all the way down.

There was one chance perhaps, she spied a gap in the plants of wood, and took it. Pulling out the cutlass she turned its blade flat and pushed it in to the hilt. Someone cursing on the other side of the wood in response. It was a firmer hold, as long as they didn't try and push it out. And now she desperately tried to free herself of the wench who still held on, by sheer will only it would seem.

Skylark grabbed a rope and ran for the railing., not knowing it if was already to late. Looking down, he could see Rowena face first against Cynthia's crotch, trying to drag her with her. He took the lasso and tossed the end to a burly mate and then threw the line over the side. He grabbed the rope and went over the side. He was four feet from them so he walked across, while men above grabbed the rope.

"Rowena, you don't have to do this."
He held on with one hand and grabbed Rowena's hair, pulling some out at the roots.

Rowena growled as blood spurted from her nose. She twisted her bloody face away from Cynthia's crotch and hissed. "Fuck off Shitfucker! SHE MUST DIE!" She started bucking up and down, while her arms held on to Cynthia's hips and he bloody, soapy face slide over the other woman.

The Captain let go of her hair, drew a darringer pistol from his pocket, shoved the steel barrel into her forehead and then pulled the trigger. Th woman spasmed as the bullet blew a small hole in her skull and sent the small caliber bullet into her brains.

Skylark let go of the tiny gun and threw his arm around Cynthia's waist, while smashing his knee into the side of the bitches head.

The Captains efforts to stop Rowena from dragging Cynthia to the depths was both brave and uncharacteristic. She assumed by his reasoning that it was obvious who had won the duel, and that he disliked the underhanded tactics shown by his First Mate. Why else would he care, unless he really did need at least someone to fill that position. God, she really hoped he didn't need that woman all this time for piles of bookwork and boring duties. That might be worse than death. Watching as he edged closer, she gasped when one of Rowena's struggles dislodged her grip on the knot of wood and she started to swing perilously.

"Just accept I bet you! For fuck sake!" she cried out, gripping on for dear life to the hilt of the cutlass. She was losing strength in her arms, and found it harder to keep the blade in horizontal and bit by bit the cutlass began to slide out slowly. Each struggle dislodging it more. It was when the pistol fired and the struggling stopped that she made a last ditch effort to grab for the knot in the wood. But the cutlass slipped free and her hand came up short and for a split second she knew she was dead.

But then a strong arm grabbed around her waist, and she though that Rowena had managed to come back and gain a better grip. But in her flailing she hadn't noticed the Captain grip her tightly. Oh Jesus, this was it. Death at last. But she wasn't falling. There were no clouds around her, no wind blowing past her at a rapid rate. And looking around, she noticed it was the Captain holding her up, and she quickly took the opportunity to grab his shoulders and wrap her legs around his. The briefest of glances in her eyes showed her thanks, before she noticed his grip on the rope was perilous. And with no reinforcement or ordering she started to climb up over him. First her breasts brushed past his face, and then her flat toned stomach as her hands gripped the rope and began pulling her upwards. And then her crotch as she used his leg to use as a footing. Before her legs soon disappeared up past him and he was left with the view of her climbing up with determination. It was only when she reached the railing that he would lose sight of her, as she dumped herself unceremoniously on the deck. Breathing and cursing the winds.

Skylark had been in many places, seen many things and lived a life that the little orphan at Sutton House could only have dreamed of. One thing he could never have imagined was hanging off of the side of his ship, while a naked, bloody woman slowly crawled up his body. Her crotch had been cover with blood and when it dragged across his face, it left blood behind.

For a moment he hung there, wondering just how he had gotten where he was, while he watched a naked rear vanishing above him. The fact was that he had not intended to become a pirate. He had joined the Royal Air Navy with dreams of brotherhood and serving the Empire. The Empire hadn't been great to him, but his favorite teacher at Sutton House had filled their young heads with dreams.

When he had been taken by the pirate ship, and had to choose death or to serve, he had choosen to live. He had risen through the ranks not because he was especially vicious, or evil, but because he was likable and got alone with everyone. He was also quick with a sword, a sure shot with a gun and had a talent for sailing and tactics. It was not the cause he had dreamed off, but in a way it was the life.

He had to hide his better instincts under a hard mask. Captains were expected to be the wosrt of the worst. They could not show compassion. Still, he did what he could to spare lives and make deaths as quick as possible. He knew he could never go back. He was a thief and a murderur. Still, there was a part of him that cried for the dead dreams of the little boy and longed for the skyway not taken.

It was this secret nature inside of him that lead to stupid acts like the one he had just done. It should have been enough to throw a rope down and then shoot Rowena in the head, from the railing, or simply to let them both die. It was slips like these that could eventually lose him his ship and his life.

Skylark cursed at himself as he climbed hand over hand up the rope and back onto the deck.

His new first mate lay on the deck, a bloody mess of cuts and bruises. "Right lads. She fought fair and square! You'll be according her the full respect due her rank, or you'll be answering to me." His pirate speak was slipping, but he didn't care. He bent down and picked up Cynthia and moved her to her feet. He put his arm under her shoulder and forced her to start walking. "Let's get you back to sick bay and get you cleaned up, before her ghost tries to come and claim your soul."

Cynthia had almost passed out once hitting the deck, and had no strength of will to try and kill the Captain. Plus she didn't work that way. And when he climbed up and over she could only groan as she pulled her to her feet. She huffed to herself when he spoke to his crew, she'd give them what for if they did any less.

Stumbling towards the stairs again, Cynthia felt bruised all over. Aches upon aches, and her skin was clammy with sweat from concentrating so long. Her breasts were sore and sensitive from bouncing around so much during the fight, and her thighs were now scuffed from the rope that had run between her legs as she climbed back to safety. She wanted a bath, and her guns, her vessel and a nice warm bed. Some whiskey and hot food would go down a treat also. With a smug smile she looked over to him as she carried some of her weight. "At least you now have something for the Doc to patch up."

It wasn't until she was partially down the stairs that her energy seemed to fade away. Her feet wobbling more than before, and scuffing as she groaned trying to keep herself standing. "And if I get haunted by her, I'm going to screw every man on this ship and make her watch. Crazy whore."

Soon she was limp in his arms, passed out from the exhaustion. And because of the slight concussion she still had. Her head hung loosely and she occasionally grumbled something, but she was out like a light. The blood on her back now dripped down the back of her thighs, and it made it difficult to hold onto her any other way than by scooping her into his arms, or keeping her arm across his shoulders.
