The Summer's Cabin (Closed Thread)

Rogue

I pulled back and stared at him, eyes wide. "So you, knowingly, took information from Sinister to save me, then went back to get a cure for Stormy and Wizard?"

I took a moment to process this in. I was angry because he was still dealing with Sinister, grateful he'd gotten the cure and thankful he'd come for me, even after I left him on that desert of ice.

Looking down, I asked, "So are you done dealing with Sinister now? Because I personally want the man dead. I need to know- are you going to keep secrets like this from me in the future, Remy?"

~He looked up at her and searched her eyes once again. It's now or never Remy boy. Better tell her the truth and hope she will forgive you. He Finished his drink in a gulp and set the glass on the table preparing himself for the worst and hoping for the best.~

I had to make a deal to get da cure from him. He always wants something in return for his so called help. He didn't say what it would be only dat whenever he had something dat needed my expertise, he would come calling. I couldn't let Storm and Wizard suffer with dat disease. I had to do something.

~He looked at her and waited for her responce. When she grew quiet he had to break the silence cause it was killing him.~

I agree Sinister is as twisted as a tree trunk in da swamp, but he seems to have da help when I needed it. Unfortunatly he always has da answers.

Rogue

My eyes narrowed as I looked into his, body tensing slightly. "Since I don't and didn't, have any better ideas for curing Stormy and Wizard, I can't fault you for going to Sinister. But when he comes calling for your help, you let me know so I can help you, Remy LeBeau. You're not alone, you got that?"

My voice rang true with a determination that shone fiercely in my eyes. "We've both done horrible things in the past, no matter what scale. I don't want to loose myself, nor you, to that past. Its the future I'm looking to."

The 'talk' was going better then I had hoped for, I thought with a mental sigh. Running a gloved hand over his face, I traced the line of Remy's jaw. "You're not alone- we're in this together, right, Remy?"

I went back to see Sinister because something tells me dat he had a lot more to do with Fantomex and dat other Mutant than he let on. The fact dat he had da cure for da desease just proves it. I just cannot figure out how much he is involved. Sinister doesnt like imperfections when using DNA so why would he allow those people to become zombies. It just doesnt add up no matter how you figure it.

~He nodded as she made him promise that he would tell her when Sinister came to call. He had planned on taking her with him anyway because everyone seemed to have an interest in getting a piece of Rogue.~

I planned on having you with me. For some reason everyone seems to want to get a bit of you and I can't let dat happen.

~He took her wrist in his hand and turned his face so he could kiss her palm as she caressed his face. Then reached back and ran his fingers through her hair.~

I know, P'tite. We've been through wars with Belledonna and da Assassin's guild. We've delt with Sabertooth, Nanny, and Eric da Red. Being apart after Antarctica made me do some t'inking and I dont ever want to be without you again, Marie.

"You know, there are days I think you're the only one that knows what my given name is these days," I said, smiling as he kissed my palm. "Heck, I don't even remember it some days."

I curled back up into him, head resting on his shoulder again so I could be close yet still see his face. "So, I take it we're in this for the long haul together, right?"

Part of me wondered if there was room in our world for marriage- maybe I could get one of those Shiar disks for our bedroom or something, I mused. And what would the wedding be like, I wondered with a small giggle.

~He poured himself another glass of Southern Comfort, then relaxed against the couch once more. He turned his head and kissed the top of her head, then teased her.~

I guess I'll have to settle down, though I always told myself dat after da fiasco with Belladonna I would never settle down again. Everyone says dat dat Remy Lebeau. Dat boy will never settle down.

~He took a sip of the liquor and prepared himself for a slap or any other physical responce.~

Not sure If I want to stop playing da field seeing as though dere were some nice looking women in Parie. Havent been dere in a while, maybe I should go back and spend a few months dere...

~He stiffened waiting for the shot he knew was going to be coming his way.~

Rogue

Rather then get angry, I responded in kind. "Well, if we're going to have that kind of relationship, I met this really cute guy, had these amazing wings, not to mention other things..."

I trailed off at the surprised look on his face. "You tease me, I'll tease ya back."

I laughed then though it ended with yawn. "Am I the only one getting a bit tired? Its been a long day, Remy. A good day, but a long one."

I think it has been a long, mentally draining day. Other than that I think it was a good day for us.

~He finished his drink and then stood taking the two glasses and the bottle and walking them back into the kitchen.~

I already got a shower today so it's all yours if you want, P'tite. We still have to work out da sleeping arrangements though. I was t'inking dat you can take da couch and I'll have da bed. You know bad back and all.

~He put the bottle back in the cupboard and washed the two glasses putting them on a towel to dry. He mused as to what it would be like to sleep with her in the same bed, but knew they would have to take a lot of precautionary measures. Someone would have to be fully clothed including socks and gloves. Dat's no fun... He suddeny had the funny image of the seperate beds in the flintstone cartoons and laughed.~

Rogue

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Didn't we already talk about this?"

Rising from the couch, I walked to the bedroom, adding just a pinch of sway to my hips, knowing he was watching me. Leaning into the room, I hit the light switch and looked back over my shoulder, still bent over slightly. "You're jaws on the floor, sugah."

Mosying into the room, I went over to my bag and dug through it for a moment before pulling out what looked like a peice of deep green fabric. I disappeared into the bathroom, pulling off my combat-ready uniform and slipped into the shower.

The water was blissfully hot and soothing as I showered, washing my hair and everything else. I stepped from the shower and dried off, wrapping my hair up in a towel.

While waiting for my hair to dry a bit, I slid into the body stocking, for lack of a better word. Where my uniform was snug and curve-roaming, this was perfectly fitted and curve-huging. If it were anyone other then Remy out there, I wouldn't be caught running around without a dress on over it.

The fabric was a silk-cotton weave, loose enough to keep me cool and allow me to feel the touch of another's skin through it yet tight enough to prevent actual skin to skin contact. Built in footies and gloves would also keep down the accidental power drainings, I mused with a smile as I unwound the towel. Running a brush through my hair, the white showing clearly even when damp, I wiped clear a part of the mirror.
I did look good, had to admit.

I opened the door to find Remy lounging on the bed and smiled as his eyes found my body.

~He followed her with his eyes as she got up and moved into the bedroom. Her comment about his jaw only made him shake his head and laugh to himself. You've lucked out with dis one Remy Lebeau. You'd be a fool to ruin dis ever again.. The sound of the water in the shower started and Gambit walked into the den once more to stoke the fire some.

After fixing the fire and setting up the protective screen, he walked back into the bedroom and pulled her shirt off over his head. He then unbuckled his belt and opened the fly of his jeans before sitting on the bed and pulling his boots and socks off. The sound of the shower stopped and he heard her step out and the rustling of her moving around. He finished getting undressed and slid beneath the blankets so that his waist area was covered but not much else. He then waited for her to join him in the bed.

When she entered the room his eyes looked her over from head to toe. He shook his head and exhaled.~

Somet'ing dat looks dat good should be illegal.

~He couldn't help but tease her again. Its just something in his blood.~

Da footies are a nice touch. I t'ink you look great in green. Have one for me so we can match?

Rogue

"You know, I think you'd end up stretching out the shoulders," I said with a grin, running a hand down one shoulder and lower as I spoke. "Not to mention other parts wouldn't be... filled out right. And thank you, I saw this color and had to have it."

Walking over I crawled onto the open side of the bed, my movements pulling the sheets just a little lower. Running my tongue over my lips, I took in the sight of him there, all male and obviously nude. And not unhappy to be there, I noted.

"You look pretty spiffy yourself," I said, slipping under the covers on my side. "Be a shame to cover that up."

~He watched her trail her finger over her body, and felt himself sturring beneath the blanket he put over himself. Gambit shook his head in disbelief at how wonderful she looked. He just wanted to take her and lay her on the bed and show her how much he loved her.~

I agree, you definatly fill dat out better than I ever could. And if you don't mind my saying, dat accents all da right parts of your body, P'tite.

~He didn't move when she crawled into the bed and managed to uncover him, uncovering all of him. He smiled as she obviously liked what she saw and suddenly felt a twinge of sadness at the fact that, at least for now, they would be unable to do more than literally sleep together. Herolled over and pressed himself against her back, spooning himself against her and wrapping her up in his arm. He squeezed her lightly and kissed the back of her head.~

Sweet dreams, P'tite. I will see you in da morning.

Rogue

It was an unfamiliar feeling, sleeping in his arms but it felt right, as if that's where I was supposed to be. Snuggling into him, I whispered, "You too, sugah."

Sleep rolled over me in a haze of dreams, most of them of a decidedly erotic nature- my own libido working against me it would seem.

***

The morning sun peaked through the deep blue curtins that lined the windows of the master bedroom, running a band of light across Remy and I. Rolling over in his arms, I watched his sleeping face, his chest rising and falling evenly with his breathing. He looked softer in his sleep, like a gentler man then the one he'd been forced/shaped into being.

With a gloved hand, I pushed a stray lock of hair away from his face then ran my fingertips down his cheek with a sigh. Part of me wanted to srip down and ravish him, damn the consequences. But that might lead to his death or my overload, whichever stopped us first.

~The sun creeping into the room hadn't quite got to touch his face and wake him from his dreams, however the feel of someone touching him brought him out of the dreamworld and into the reality. Funny how sometimes you can wake up from a dream and think you are still in one.

He barely opened his eye enough to see her before he wet his lips with his togue.~

I know what you are t'inking, girl, and shame on you.

~In truth he had no idea what she was thinking, but figured that statement was a blanketing one and could cover a variety of things. He sighed and gave her a small squeeze, still loving the feeling of having her in his arms.~

'Morning, Love. Did you sleep well?

~He opened his dark eyes fully and looked into the face of the woman he loved. Life always was difficult for them but they had always managed to find the nice things such as sleeping in the same bed and waking next to one another as if they were like everyone else in the world.~

Rogue

I blushed at his comment about thinking bad things. "You can't prove nothin', Remy, luv."

I stretched, rolling onto my back, still in his arms, arms above my head. Relaxing, I nodded at him. "Best sleep I can remember in a long time. No bad dreams... you?"

Best not to mention the heart-racking nightmares I'd had since leaving him in that icy wasteland. They ranged from him slowly freezing to death with tears on his face to him rising from the ice a vengeance filled creature of hate, howling for my death.
I much prefered this Remy.

Taking his hand in my gloved ones, I kissed it quickly, the faintest brushings. The result shadowed my eyes crimson for a moment but there were no other effects. "I heard a rumor that the Shiar can build a 'shield' that negates mutant powers in its influence, Remy. Think we could barter for one?"

~He waited until she stretched and got comfortable, then gave a small wince like he had gotten a splinter as she drew some of his life force out of him. He then stretched his arms out and rolled his shoulders a bit before sticking his hands behind his head and turning to look at her~

Yeah, in dat outfit it would be hard to prove dat you were t'inking things dat would make a gator blush, P'tite, though you blushing proves I was right...

~He moves his arm to pull her against him and caressed her back softly, affectionatly.~

Well if I pull a few jobs on da side, or offer to do an errand like I did for Sinister maybe we could get one. I like da idea of it though.

~He rolled to his side, looped his arms around her and rolled back picking her up and setting her on his lap, her green jammies between them so their skin wasnt touching -unfortunatly-. His hands moved to her hips and kneaded them softly as he looked up at her.~

We'll have to go back to da mansion and get to da Control room and attempt to contact dem though. Dat may be a mission in itself. Then again, I do have to go talk with Storm sometime. Maybe we can both go. I'll chat with Stormy and you can go make dat call.

Rogue

Wickedly, I writhed as his hands kneeded my hips, pressing against him, the heat of my body easily transfered through the thin cloth.

"We going back today, Remy? And I had so hoped to try out the new swimsuit I bought," I said, green eyes flashing with lust and merryment at his- our- obvious states.

~He closed his eyes and groaned slightly as he was teased, and it being morning he didn't need any more coaxing than he already had. Her teasing only made him want to get in contact with the Shi'ar all the quicker. He opened his eyes and looked up at her at the mention of a new swimsuit.~

Well far be it from me to stop a beautiful woman from showing off her body in a revieling, see through swimsuit. Noone said we had to rush to da mansion right away. I told Stormy "Sometime" not right away.

~Yes he had heard new swimsuit, but he was just hoping that the other stuff was true. Just the thought made him even more excited then he already was and she could feel him pressing up against her.~

Rogue

I could feel him growning against me and thrilled over the sensation. These body suits were definantly worth the cost.

"Much as I would love to continue," I said in a husky whisper. "If we plan to go swimming, I imagine its best to do it this morning. This afternoon, or rather after lunch we can check in and return to the real world."

Regret over the shortened stay at the cabin tinged my voice but I pushed it aside. "So will you be moving into my room? We cleaned yours out and put your things in storage. With so many new people, we needed all the space we could get."

Crawling off of him, and making a show of it, I left the bed to rumage in my bag, bending over from the waiste, legs crossed in a way I knew made a lovely display of my assets, so to speak.

After a moment, I pulled out a little, tinsy tiny bag and strolled into the bathroom, humming over it all.

~We rolled over to watch her as she gor out of bed and rummaged through her bag. A look of sadness passed his face as she left him, but inside he knew that she was feeling the pain more than he was. Not being able to touch without some sort of barrier was a sin and he doubted he could live with it as long as she did. She was strong though and in her own way he knew that she was the strongest person he had met. That was one of the things that drew him to her.~

We can worry about where I will be staying after dis week is up, Love. I plan on staying at da cabin as long as I can with you so we can have dis time alone. Dis visit to da Mansion is just dat a visit. I want to have da chat with Stormy and den I want to get out of there.

~Gambit shook his head and as soon as she went into the bathroom and closed the door so she could change, he pulled a pillow over his face and screamed into it. Disgusted at the fact they couldn't do more, he threw the pillow across the room hiting the dresser, then slid out of the bed so his feet rested on the ground. With a half laugh, he ran his fingers through his hair and looked out of the window over the lake.~

I leaned against the door, fighting down horomones as I slipped out of my body suit and into the two peice swimsuit. The top was a bright emerald color, the built in bra/underwire helping along the clevage I already had.

The bottoms were boy-short style except the front and back laced together on the sides, the strings removable so the the entire thing could be taken apart with a few flicks of the wrist.

Pulling a pair of towels from the cabinet under the sink, I then opened the door and walked barefoot into the bedroom, silent as a cat. I slipped on a pair of gloves and ran a hand over Remy's back to draw his attention away from the lake and to me.

"You might want to toss on a pair of shorts," I teased. "Be a pity if some passing fish decided your 'rod and tackle' would be tasty."

~He looked over his shoulder and offered her a warm smile, then smirked and teased~

Heh, wouldn't be enough for a tasty snack let alone a meal. Da fish would be disappointed.

~He stood and stretched out his back, a small crack and pop being heard as some discs slid back into place. He rolled his shoulders once again and moved his head atop his neck. After stretching out, he walked over to the dresser, grabbed the pillow he tossed at it and put it back on the bed. he opened a drawer and fished through til he found a pair of shorts that could be used as trunks. Stepping into one leg hole then the other, he pulled the shirts up over his ass and tied the laces in the front. He took the towel she offered him, then a look of complete Impishness passed his lips and he twirled the towel, then flicked it so the end stung her ass softly.~

Rogue

I had to retaliate- nothing else but to.

I darted to the side, returning the towel flicking with a whap from my own, the coiled end grabbing his ass.

Laughing, I then darted from the cabin and into the early morning sun. The grass was still dewey beneath my feet and a few fluffy clouds floated overhead. It was beautiful.

Dropping my towel on the dock, I flew up into the air, cutting my powers of flight just as Remy hit the end of the dock, soaking him as I hit the chilly lake water.

Eeping, I shot back up, laughing as I shook my head to clear my hair out of my face.

Oh you're dead... come 'ere you...

~He gave chase and almost caught her, but she flew up into the air as they reached the dock. Nearing the edge of the dock, he stopped dead in his tracks knowing that the water was going to be chilly, but then had no choice but to get wet as her splash came up over him and drenched him from head to toe.~

See how you are... and I didn't want to get wet...

~He slipped his hand beneath the curtain of wet hair and pushed it up so he could see where she was. Judging by the look on her face the water was as cold as he thought it would be. Already wet, he lept up onto on of the higher poles of the dock, then kicked off and did a cannonball into the lake. He handed with a sploosh and send a circle of waves out around him.~

Rogue

Grinning, I waited for Remy to come up to the surface before diving back in, rocketing under him and sending up fonts of bubbles that I know tickle.

I broke the surface a few yards from him, wetter then a hound on bathing day in the rain but warming up as I moved around.

"What did you mean you didn't want to get wet?" I asked, swimming closer to him. "You came to a lake, you put swim trunks on, and you didn't want to get wet?"

I scoffed and dove back under water, opening my eyes in the relatively clear lake water. I swam easily, enjoying the freedom. Public pools were impossible for me and I had never gotten a chance to try diving.

So this was realtively novel and I was loving it.
