The Time of Dragons, an Magic.. OCC.....

welcome Jediknight havent seen you for an age its a pleasure to be writting with you again as well as others when we start. Just waiting to hear from Amune

*stirs slowly from atop his pile of gold*

Who comes to waken sleeping dragons? I have not seen this storyline for an age and an age.

"That would be I sir.. " kneels and bows head politely, very happy to see him as well.

Well, well now...

*looks about briefly before centering his attention back onto the little elf woman*

There seems to be quite a bit of interest in waking old dragons. It would seem that Idrial Two-Bloods may yet have a new role to play. Mayhaps it is a time of Dragons and Magic again?

looks up " i would be most honored sir. Idrial Two-Bloods at your service. Now as in times past." Rises from kneeling looking from him to the others waiting paitenly to see where things will lead.

"And I am O'Bonn, son of M'Rhun, Commander of His Majesty's Royal Guard and General of the Army of the Great Northern Lands," stated the elf with the white-blond hair and amber eyes.

"My sword is yours."

It has always bothered me that the storyline fizzled just as you were all fighting DreamWeaver..... Seeing as how I am officially retired now, I won't have to disappear for weeks on end anymore... I might be persuaded to trow my hat into the ring as storyteller again...or even just as another writer.

Seeing as so many from the original group have gone, we would need to have a new casting call and starting point. Still I must ask, do we continue the storyline as it was or restart the Amulet of the Sunn or something else all together?

It might be good to start a different campaign tho given we have some of the originals but not all.

Ofcourse, i support the motion, another cast calls for another campaign. Maybe another storyline even.
I totally agree.
I'll post my character bio once it is decided.
I might want to play as the antagonist though, hope that's allowed.

I'm going to leave the decisions to the original people, I do suggest we start over from scratch though instead of continuing from where we were.

if no one has any objections i could start a new thread for all of us in a different direction unless someone else wished to do so. i will wait for a few days to give everyone a chance to say yes or no before i begin.

Looking forward to working with all of you :)

I don't have any objections and i could start a new directional thread if that's what you want.
Plus i have some ideas about both quest and storyline that i'll like to bring to light for all to see and modify if need be.
If that's ok?

Go ahead.

Well normally quests in most movies and fantasy themes like this is to retrieve something, might be an orb, a sword, a scroll, an amulet etc.
I just wanted us to do something for a change, to find and protect something.

I'm using from the title to put this up.
****
A dragon whose hide was imprenetrable, its size longer than the white bridge of ancient Frilon. This beast could've ruled the world if it wanted to, it could transform into any creature and so took up diplomacy with the nations of the earth. With the aid of this aged beast, their was peace in the lands. Even on those far beyond the horizons and those high up above the ground like the floating city of Lukhan.
This Era of global peace was called (give it a name here) and only lasted a century. As is in all things, as it is defined in the founding roots of nature. All things must change. The hand of the clock must go down for it to go up again. And so it all went down.

Behind the great city of ruins is the dark forest of Ein'drea, where darkness lurks and evil wonder about freely. But it was not the forest that changed the world, it was the gate deep inside the forest. The gate of Kelga, door to the other plane of existence. The underworld.

Feeding from the evil essence of the forest, the once sturdy gate started weaknening. Its preserving magic now affected by time.
Horrors from the land of the dead, things only born out of the worst nightmares entered our world. It was a catastrophe. The lands were filled with chaos and anarchy.
The nine ancient cities came together called to a meeting by the dragon himself. (give him a name please). There, in the ground of Skr'ndro. A table was set and ten chairs round it, nine for the nine kings of the nine ancient cities and one large one for the dragon in human form.
There the first brotherhood was formed. The first quest was created, to create the Orb of light, the only thing that can seal the gate forever. But there was a catch, the Orb can only be created at the gate.

Nine creatures came forward, each representing one of the ancient cities. Led by the dragon they journeyed to the city of ruins. Facing monsters and the escaped horrible spirits of hell.
They were successful, they created the Orb of light and sealed the gate. But there was a cost, a price for stopping the hand of the clock from making its full rounds. Many were lost among the brotherhood, friends were seen splited into two or pierced by spiky tale. Lovers died in the hands of their love. "Her lips a soft kiss to mine before she went cold, a smile on her face as she departed from those dark days."
Yet the real sacrifice was the ancient dragon. He disappeared after the orb was created, some say his heart was used in creating the orb. Others said he sealed the gate behind him so as to forever guard it.
