The Two Week Incubation Countdown Began ....

Orange County CA just lifted their order for the mandatory wearing of masks in public.

^^^PorkyJacker reflects the extremist thinking of an extremist Deplorable. This is why their cult leader also rejects common sense solutions.

There is no common sense emanating from your wing of political occupation.

Or, the Koreans have a significant, or undiscovered,
cultural or biological induced immunity.
One most be careful of assumed
a priori explanations...

"Cultural or biological induced immunity?" I actually agree about culture; the East Asian countries that were scared shitless by SARS have dealt with this disease fairly well. Japan has had fewer Covid-19 cases than Iowa without even testing very much, and that's the oldest population in the world.

But "biological induced immunity" ... uh, no.

Keep in mind, for all the finger-pointing, now that we are beginning
to get better numbers, not the crap used to create the panic,
but Sweden is not all that out of line, especially if you
compare it to what happened in Italy or New York;
culturally, there were some major differences.

Sweden had two major advantages off the bat in dealing with this disease:

1. They have an excellent health care system in general, which covers everyone.

2. The Scandinavian countries, along with Germany, lead the world in percentage of people who live alone, which eliminates a major way the disease is transmitted.

Despite this, the only large (population 1 million-plus) countries with a higher Covid-19 death rate than Sweden are Belgium, Italy, Spain, and the U.K. If the people there can admit their policy failed both to protect people and protect their economy (something that's already happening), I'm not sure why their American fan club can't do the same.

AFAIK, we’re the only country that actually behaves as though the coronavirus has a political component to it.

Agreed. The rest of the world is willing to admit that the actual science shows this is far less lethal and contagious as feared and thst common precautions you practice for any other airborne respiratory virus are effective. t is only in Anerica that Democrats and their compliant media outlets are fabricating a scare story per day.

Uh, yes.

Not every human being has the same susceptibility to any particular virus. Natural immunity is an actual thing.

Children seem immune to this virus because it seems they have not yet developed the receptors needed for the virus to bind to.

Type A blood seems to make you more susceptible. It is unknown why.

Native Ameticans at first glance seem especially at risk. Might be diet and comorbidities. Might be environmental. 30% of households on the Navajo reservation do not have running water.

Genetics play a yuuuuge role in immunological response, so uh, quite possibly yes.

It isn't masks. Asian countries have less obesity. Japan far less. Obesity is the number one comorbidity in Covid deaths.

27% of deaths were in NYC. 30,000 deaths. Yes policy failures of Cuomo and DeBlasio contributed. The reason why "we" cant admit that is because of the D after their name.

Two weeks from the orange koolaide cult indoctrination assembly will be well before November 3rd, correct?

It’s had a great start, six rally staffers already tested positive. Have fun, folks.:D

L.A. County surge in coronavirus cases linked to anti-racist protests

https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6166615240001
on my news feed just now.
Most people expected that.

But you know what's kind of interesting?
I haven't heard of a surge in AA deaths following protests (it's been a month).
Surely at least half of Black protesters have older rellies or a friend of a friend.
Yet before protests, covid was ravaging/killing the Black community. (true fact, not politics)

Do improved testing/treatment (ie overuse of PPV was demonstrated to do harm) account for the difference in outcome?
-- Has the virus become less lethal, a some Italian doctor claims it happened in Italy?
