Young Pernell had been quite worried about this.

His mother had sent him in her place to deal with the Woman that lived far beyond the hills, at the very slopes of the mountains, not too far from his own village, not far but deep into the forgotten and wild recesses of the land. She was rumoured to be kind-hearted, a caring and beautiful woman that made unguents and medicines for the peasants in exchange of goods, like cereals and hunted game. She lived quietly into her house, undisturbed by any, hidden from prying eyes just beside a small wood.

Once, Pernell had even seen a knight coming to heed this Wise Woman's counsel. She was said to be very wise, and some said she was old. Some said she was a Hag, and blamed her by the bad crops, but most just choose to believe that she was there to help them in the times of need. The young man had never seen nor talked to her. Tall, standing at 1.78m, the peasant was strong, as he worked as an apprentice to a lumberjack and a poacher. His hair, dark brown as murky mud, runned wildly at his shoulders, although his beard was just starting to grow.

After many, many minutes after getting off the trail, Pernell had finally reached the Woman's House, finding it only thanks to his mother's indications. Otherwise, he would most surely lose himself into the moutain. Not too worn, after all. Slowly, he came towards the door, quietly, his body ticklish with antecipation.

She sensed someone approaching her door and she peered through the window, the young man apparently not seeing her. Her long, bluish-black hair flowed down her back as she snapped her fingers and immediately her appearance changed, her hair pinned up in a loose bun and dressed in a flowery, short dress with black sandals. She had lived through many periods and she still found it hard to get used this era’s style of dress.

She had seen the young man before but then again, she knew everything there was to know about anyone in the village. She wondered why he had come all this way to visit her. He was a strong, strapping man and if she remembers correctly, his name was Pernell. She was completely distracted by him that she met one of her potions burning. She silently cursed as she scurried over to the stove, trying to salvage what was left of her potion. She decided to let it cool off, as sat at the kitchen table, letting the front door open by itself.

It had startled young Pernell that the door had opened just as he started to climb the wooden steps up towards it's frame. He had thought that it should be the bending and yelding wood rather than something more esoteric.

"Hello? Anyone in there?", asked Pernell before stepping into the simple cottage.

He was taken back by the gorgeous woman sitting by the table of the large kitchen. Actually, the room seemed way larger than what the house allowed him to notice from the outside.

“Hello Pernell. Come in,” she smiled as she got up and approached him. She gestured towards the chair opposite of hers. It moved automatically away from the table as she waited for him to sit down. As she turned her back on him, she went back to sit down in her seat.

“Would you like something to drink?” she asked.

He had jumped when the chair moved itself on her own. What the... what was that!! More than a few shivers runned through his spine as young Pernell walked over, feelings as his legs would melt and he would surely stumble aside. Speechless, the young man just stared out plainly at the woman. She was surely gorgeous. A nymph, a goddess, a beauty unseen on his home village.

"Y-Yes... yes! Please!", he said as he fell down upon the chair.

She could tell Parnell was in awe of her. She snapped her fingers and instantaneously a pitcher of lemonade and a tall glass with ice appeared in front of him. “I hope you like lemonade. If not, I can get you something else.” She got up to check on her pot to see how it was doing.

"N-N-No, thanks! Lemonade shall be great!"

He awnsered as he took upon the pitcher to serve himself. Curiously, Parnell noticed how she had not conjured... or whatever the words to describe creating out of the blue... a glass for herself. He had been... surprised to say the very least.

While the woman went towards the pot to check it out, the young man took upon the change to check out her behind. She was a most gorgeous woman in all the ways conceivable.

She could feel Parnell checking her out and a smile crept up her lips. She conjured a magic spell, so a spoon appeared to stir the pot while pretended to be interested in it. It gave her time to think what to say to the young man.

She turned around finally with a tall glass in her hand and sat at the opposite of the wooden table. She reached for the pitcher and poured herself a glass of lemonade and sipped it quietly, asking him, "What is the reason for your visit, Parnell?"

"W-Well Lady...", he started, but fumbled with his words and moaned something not even a spell could discern. He was not used to see sorcery being used so casually in home chores, and that amazed the young man a lot. He laid both hands above the table, took a deep breath, and then drank a little more of the lemonade she had served him.

"...My mother sent me to help you, Lady. She said my work will pay for the potions she had ordered from you." Pernell tells her, humbly.
