I finished high school almost exactly one year ago, and it feels like such a memory right now. Probably because I'm not always around my friends from high school and all of the other familiar faces. I didn't get to see any of them over last summer, since I was working nights at Friendly's. Probably the most painful thing was when a bunch of my friends came in one evening to give a little going away celebration for my friend Laurel. No one had tried to contact me about it, to my knowledge. I tried to act happy to see them, but really I was sad inside because I hadn't been able to spend any time with them (they all worked days) and they were all leaving.
