The Younger Crowd

That's where I was last year. This year I was lucky enough to have my first and only application accept me. All I have to do now is prove that I can work with horseshoe crabs.

I know there's a crab pun in there somewhere. I'll let you create your own;)

Good luck with that!

*falls over* Not pubic crabs! I'm not even going to go into the job I have to do, because you'll probably be able to find some double meaning in it. Damn, you're just like me, but much worse. :p

You make it sound like a bad thing:D

I'm back, I'm back... Anyone around here from around San Antonio? I just got a job offer to DJ at a club there for $20/hour plus first months rent plus moving costs PLUS deposit on the apartment... I'm thinking I'll take it, but I'd like to atleast know somepeople down there so the days I do have off I can hang out and have some fun... How was everyone's Humpday night?

It depends on the situation. Talking about pubic crabs is a bad thing. Talking about sexual acts is another. ;)

Actually, I was referring to the "....sound like me" part of your post.

Yes, pubic crabs would be bad....very bad!

moving on

its never easy to move on and make any kind of transitions in life, the important thing is to recognize who you truly, and what you want out of life so that you wont waste time chasing the wind

I'll be lucky if I have a job this summer. Last summer I refused to go back to any of my old jobs since the first choice denied me. Now I'm just looking for whatever I can get!

Very true! However, in times of desperation one needs to make some adjustments on the outlook of things. But as long as one stays true to oneself, the time won't be wasted.

(and i just love saying "oneself":D )

I like saying "oneself", too. I was taught that you had to use "oneself" in essays instead of "you", so it's a huge habit now. I overuse it in essays.

Same here! I've been brainwashed so bad it feels awkward to use "you" in an essay.

Okay....

Yeah, first post in this thread. Edmonton, AB and turning 19 in June. I guess that makes me young. BUT I'M 13 OK!!! (with a few years experience.)

I like long walks along the beach, which could very well mean having my feet pricked by stony unrefined pebbles each step. I like the great outdoors, especially when the mercury dips to minus 50 and I enjoy reading. Dr. Seuss is the best author ever.

I'm a 23/M in Southern Minnesota. Man, this part of the country is so boring in every respect.
