Yes, impress the ladies with some airtime. Could be entertaining...

Heh, good one. I'm sorry about your none-too-enjoyable stay in Houston. I'm a transplant to Texas and I agree with whoever said " If I owned both Hell and Texas, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell."

LOL! I, too, have been to Texas and I agree with that little gem there.

I'ma back for a while. My dad wasn't a heartless bastard as I first presumed for that day - so now I am back. Just a lot less time online for the better. Go me! Or something. >.>

Some would say less is more.

Hang in there, chief.

Hi y'all
just wanted to pop in and say hello, im new on lit and am part of the younger crowd..

Well a hearty welcome to both of you! Don't be afraid to dive on in now. We don't bite...much.

As has been the case with all of us.

Although I haven't read the stories in over a year...

Wow, I just realized it's been a long time since I read the stories as well. I'll have to do some weekend reading!

19/M/OH

HEHE If you think TX is hell, try living in smalltown Ohio. We got 4 seasons: Cold, Really Cold, Winter, and Rain. We confuse everyone and say pop tp refer to all soft drinks. We end our sentences with unnecessary prepositions. We even know what a buckeye is and have recipies for candied ones, but above all we are drunk, ignorant, and bored. So, if there is anyone out there who thinks they could take away the frustrations of Ohio and help me relieve some pressure, I invite every person who would like to try to do so. Oh yeah, I'm 19/M/Celina...Ohio. Disck Jockey with a sexy voice, as for everything else, you'll heve to make your mind up on that;)

23

I am 23 and been on lit for 3 years now. I don't know what I would do with out this site:D

I have noticed a lot of younger faces in here though.

Welcome to all the newest members. Once again, I'm too lazy to make this personal but I assure you in some way it is. ;) Besides, Vay did good work saying hi! :D

Big D- I love pop! Do you drink Faygo??

Vay- yes I absolutely love your short name.

Xelebes (now on known as X)- welcome back ;)

And on topic: I don't really read many stories anymore, but I have been posting my poetry and getting into that. If you're interested there's links somewhere on here already or you can go to my pic thread or you can just go do a search from the stories/poems prompt thingy.

:rose:

By the way, today is an amazing day!

Someone really special to me is coming to see me in 2 weeks!! He just got his ticket last night.

The sun is out!!!! For the first time in DAYS it's not raining and I can go for a bike ride! :D

Oh yeah, and sorry for all the exclamation points...

Hey, no worries on the exclamation points. You have plenty of reasons to be excited!

Okay ... I missed all of you! I'm a loser, what can I say? LoL

I'm back, at least for this evening and perhaps the next few days. I can't get online as often. WHY, you ask? Because this little freeloader done got herself a job. I know, I know ... ME, with a job. Wanna hear the story? If not, skip ahead, 'cause I'm gonna tell it anyway.

First off, some background info: my mom's a CPA, and I've been doing jobs for her since I was little ... I graduated to having my own clients when I was 12. For my first birthday I got a ten-key (one of the calculators that print out) - in all honesty. So, in short, I really KNOW my accounting/bookkeeping/tax-related stuff.

My daddy needed something at a landscape supply company a few minutes from my house and sent me to get it. While I was there, the bookkeeper was practically throwing a fit because she couldn't figure out something on the daily sales records and was accusing several people of screwing up on purpose ... I saw the mistake right away, and told her how to fix it - within the hearing of the owner, unintentionally. She got pissed that I (20 years old) dared to correct her (mid-60's?) and left for the day. As she was walking out the door, the owner hired me. He called her later that evening and fired her. Good thing, though, because in the next few days I discovered she had been stealing from the company.

*big, huge grin* I've been promoted three times - I'm now the absolute boss of the administrative portion of the business ... and I'm basically the boss of my boss. It's perfect for me. I don't have to follow orders from idiots. Of course, I AM spending 45-50 hours a week at work - minimum. It's worth it though, because I'm DAMN good at it. The company has gone from near bankruptcy to a remarkably lucrative endeavor. Anyway, I'm making way more money than I'd planned on, and thank God - because I'm an expensive girl, LoL. I'm babbling, though. If you wanna know more, just ask. There's tons! *laugh*

SO ...

I'm actually a really happy person right now, which some of you may remember I was NOT just awhile ago. *sigh* I'm glad, too, because I was really unhappy about a lot of stuff. Thanks to those of you who tried to (and did) cheer me up.

I hope everyone's doing REALLY well ... like I said, I missed you all, and I want to know what you're up to.

Congrats

congrats party girl on the new job :) its allways good to do something u love

and unseen im happy that ur happy :) its nice to know that you have a smile on ur face :)

First Post

It looks like I've found the perfect thread in which to post my first message!

All round greetings, smiles, tender kisses for the ladies and firm handshakes for the men. Dive straight in at the deep end, shall I? :D

I'm an 18 year-old tall, blue-eyed, single, white, British male currently living in North London. I'm looking for fun and games (isn't everyone? ;)) in the local area with some understanding and experienced (possibly more mature) females.

I think that's me done. I'd love some positive feedback, whether it's interest or just to welcome me! :)

You a DJ? Cool. Right now thinking of taking it up. Leaning towards hard techno/swedish techno and hardcore.

Anywho... here? We have two seasons: Winter and Construction. Winter takes up late October to Middle of April and then the rest is used for repairing the roads from potholes and other issues that need be fixing or just actually building buildings.
