Hello to all, I just got my PC back online today after weeks of trying to fix it, turns out my brother ripped my network card connections to shit and I had to replace it. Fun stuff. Hello to all the new people. And always a special hello to all the ladies. :D

So, I just got a confirmation from Amazon that my EcoTourism book just sold for a lil over $50. My bookstore offered me nothing. Woohoo. Only downside is she needs the book ASAP and I finish the class in 3 weeks; upside is I haven't read the damn thing yet so I see no reason NOT to sell it now!

Unseen, if anything, I'd be running towards you, not away :) I'm glad I'm back, and thank you for the welcome. Thats a sweet deal on the book, how much was it to post it on amazon? I may have to do that with some of my books here that haven't sold.

It's free to post on amazon. I posted a couple books a few weeks ago and one just sold. you're not obligated to do anything unless it sells ;) Amazon automatically takes a small (really small) fee from the sale if the item goes, but otherwise they don't get anything. It's pretty easy really. I've sold and bought a few books on there. I recommend it above campus bookstores ANY DAY. It's especially great when you're buying books, because people are usually pretty fair about it since they're in the same position.

I always sell mine under the recommended price, generally it's much higher than what the bookstore would give you anyway.

Tornados? Damn, I moved to Texas 4 years ago and everyone warned me about the Tornados, and I haven't seen a damn one yet!

Been living in IL for 22 years, been in 4 storms with 'em, but I have yet to see a real life tornado with my own eyes.

I'm disappointed...
 
I've never seen one with my own eyes, and I would LOVE to. everyone tells me I should feel lucky, but I'm here on this earth to learn and experience, not to "feel lucky", now, getting lucky, thats a whole number subject. I'd like that a little more than is currently scheduled.
 
I would love to see a tornado close up, but from a safe, safe, safe distance. I've learned that pissing your pants isn't exactly sexy.
