Their Secret (closed)

Jenni smiled over his compliment, teasing, "Soap and water? Showers are my friend, Mike." She watched as he pulled out sandwiches and sodas for them to share. It was a sweet gesture on his part. "Oh...um...I can't really stay that long," she smiled softly, feeling a little bad for his efforts. "Sorry."

Mike paused a minute as she said she couldn't stay long and he nodded, "No it's cool. What's up, did you want to tell me something or what?" HE asked wondering what she wanted to meet him for if she only had a couple minutes to stick around.

Jenni tilted her head, pushing her hands into her jeans pockets. "Well, I planned to hang out a little while but then I got a text from my mom...." She smiled at him, lightly shrugging her shoulders, "My brother's on leave from the Marines for a few days and we're having a big family dinner tonight. It was all a big surprise..." She moved a little closer to him, keeping her hands in her pockets. "I still wanted to see you though..."

Mike smiled and nodded, "That's awesome though, your brother back save adn sound. That's got to be a relief on your family right? Cool. I'm glad you came to see me, I'm starting to really enjoy being your secret friend."

"It's a huge relief...you know, until he has to go back." Jenni pulled her hands from her pockets, casually approaching Mike. "You're not disappointed then? You're genuinely happy for me?" She lightly placed her hands on his shoulders then slowly slid them down his chest.

Mike nodded and smiled, gently placing his hands on her hips. "Yeah of course. Come on, it's your family. Why would I be upset? I'm over all that nonsense, I'd rather be your friend as much as possible than not be able to ever talk to you."

Jenni smiled sweetly, leaning in close. "Good. I'm happy about that." Knowing no one was around to see them, she softly pressed her lips to his, kissing him under the bleachers.

Mike kissed her back, his arms snaking around behind her to hold her gently against him. He just wanted to feel her body against him lightly, just a little taste of her to savor for later. "Anytime. Have a good dinner ok? I'll be home like always." He said with a smile.

Pecking his lips once more then pulling away, Jenni teased him. "Don't fry that brain on the computer, okay? I need my homework done for this week."

Mike gave a quick laugh and watched her ass sway as she walked away. He picked up his sandwiches and headed home to take care of his stuff.

Jenni went home and had a pleasant family dinner with her parents and older brother. Everyone was glad for the reunion, however temporary. Jenni stayed up late talking with her brother, eager to spend as much time with him as she possibly could before he had to leave again. She hugged him tight before he left for his old room to go to sleep. She laid in her bed once he was gone, unable to get herself to close her eyes. She grabbed her phone but hesitated to call or text any of her friends. She didn't think they'd really care enough to be bothered in the middle of the night. On a whim, she texted Mike.

"Hey. Awake?"

Mike was just finishing up a late raid night. The new raid came out this morning and he was eager to get in there with his guild. So they raided extra long until they managed to beat the first boss. Mike leaned back and smiled, one down and six to go over the next few weeks.

His phone beeped and he read the text. He wondered what had Jenni up so late. of course, whats going on?

She picked up her phone and smiled at the screen, happy that Mike was still awake to talk. She typed, "Nothing. Just can't sleep...."

Mike smiled and wrote back, well how can I assist you? Want me to sing you a lullaby?

Jenni rolled her eyes, then remembered he couldn't see her. "No. I bet you're a horrible singer." She teased.

Mike smirked and replied, very true. Well I dunno then. You can sneak over if you want. Maybe the walk will help you tire out.

Jenni shook her head. Mike was really persistent, wasn't he? Hadn't he seen enough of her in the past few days?

"I can't. Just talk 2 me 4 a while."

Mike sent her a smiley face, he was only trying to give her an option he didnt want to push her. No problem. Hey I know I tell you about the nerdy shit I did tonight. If that doesnt knock uou out nothing will. We got together and fought a fire dragon. It was hard but we did it. It took five hours.

Jenni scrunched her nose, reading his text. What the fuck was he talking about? Dragons?

"What? Is that some kind of game?"

Yeah I play an online game. I mean i have to do something when im by myself in my room......other than jerking off. Did you think all I did was homework and jerking off?

Jenni didn't have to think about that much. "Kinda. I guess."

She thought about what he said and added, "How do you play a game for 5 hours?"

It's pretty easy, the game is a lot of fun and I play it with a group of 24 other people. We have a program that acts like a massive phone call, so we can all talk and hear each other. Most of the time we bitch and talk shit to each other. It's like hanging out with people all over the country, only on the computer.

Jenni arched her brow, reading his words over. She didn't understand the appeal of the game itself, but talking to people all over the country seemed interesting. Kind of.

"Oh. Do you ever talk to those ppl about me?"

Mike paused and thought about what to say. Actually I have a made up girlfriend I told them about. Which is lame, but before you came into my life I was very sad and lonely. So made up a girl.......You kind actually kind of fit into that now though, if you'd like I could say I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world :p.

Jenni didn't know what to say at first. It seemed pretty sad to her that Mike had to make up a fake girlfriend, even with people he only knew through the computer. She didn't think of herself as his girlfriend by any means but...these people didn't need to know that.

"Why don't u show them a pic of me 2?"
