Thieves Among Us-Closed

Following his somewhat quicker pace back toward their picnic. She laughed "Oh I do love chocolate, but have never really had the fortitude to learn baking. Between school, lessons and assignments I've always been too busy. Don't get me wrong I consider the life I was given a very full life that filled me with immense joy and left feeling accomplished. Even if it wasn't in the traditional sense." she smiled simply assuming he had the same life as they had the same benefactor.

When they reached the picnic area, she seated herself and waited till he was as well. "I think I will go for the apple pie if you please sir." she said smiling. Who would have thought he would be domestic enough to beable to make chocolate cake. She had ignored his comment earlier about chocolate and womans figures and had simply rolled her eyes at him. She had never had to worry about it. She was very active with her dance and such and ate whatever she wanted.

Though she doubted he would expect her to sit at home and be a house wife. Because well that wasn't going to happen. it did briefly cross her mind. Eventually she shook it off, no he had a better sense of her then that. She would fight him tooth and nail if he ever tried to pull any of that me man you woman crap. She could just envision him tying her to a chair. She smiled for no reason other then self amusement and took a bite out of the pie.

"Oh my, this is so good. Did you really make it or did you buy it?" she questioned studying his face as she waited for his response.

He was tempted to tell her he had made it just to see her reaction. After all he was a superb cook. It was amazing what you did with yourself when you had an eternity to fill. He was sure she would be amazed at the things he knew how to do. In fact this pie was actually not as good as one he could make but it wasn't bad, still maybe now wasn't the time to spring that on her.

"No, I bought this whole basket from the cafe," he admitted. "I do know how to cook however, I mean a single man on his own best know how to or he is going to starve," he chuckled, "But I admit to cheating this time."

Smiling he looked at her as he ate and then a glimmering of a plan began to form. "Perhaps you would let me make it up to you? To prove that I can cook a dinner of your choice to be cooked by me, what do you say?"

She smiled when he admitted he didn't cook the meal but instead had the cafe' prepare it all.

"Do you mean like a date?" she questioned about his proposal to cook for her. Wondering if this was suppose to be part of his third date. "I don't really require having it proven to me Phillips." she said pondering for a moment and biting her lip again.

"All right, I shall give you a meal to make. But be prepared, I love this dish.. I would like Chicken Parmigiana, a Caesar salad, freshly made garlic cheese bread, and canolis for dessert."

She gave him a bit of a suspicious look. What on earth was he up to now. Shaking her head she laughed a little. "You keep me on my toes sir"

He looked at her and smiled. She had chosen comfort food, something that told him a lot about her. He had just offered to make her anything she had wanted and instead of asking him to go all out, making something expensive, or exotic, she had asked him to make something familiar.

"Chicken Parmigiana it is then. Do you prefer the breast meat or the thigh? I like the thigh myself. While the breast's do give you a larger portion, I find they tend to dry out a little too much, while the thighs stay moist an juicy," he chuckled. "However that can be combated by cooking it just right in the sauce, so I will let my lady decide."

"As for keeping you on your toes, well, perhaps I would like to do far more than that," he said with a throaty chuckle realizing even as he said it that he was not really teasing her, but meant every word. "Still that will do for now," he laughed.

"Ahh but you do bring out the beast...I mean the best in me my dear," he chuckled again as he continued to eat his pie.

"You're absolutely correct, the thigh is the best piece of meat for it. I do like my meat nice and juicy" she smiled shaking her head at him as what she perceived as a teasing remark after her comment about keeping her on her toes. "You truly are a pain" she advised as her eyes danced at him.

"Oh" she said looking at him slightly disappointed. "This is your best?" she looked at him blankly for a few moments before she started to laugh and reached over and kissed his cheek.

A flash went through her mind of him flipping her on her back and kissing her with passion as his hand traveled up her leg under her dress. She blushed instantly and took another bite of pie. So that was what it was to lust for someone.

Phillip almost choked on the bite of pie he was eating, but managed to turn it into a discreet cough. The thought had come out of nowhere and struck with such force that he had been unprepared for it. He had known it was possible, well he had read it was but he had never imagined.

He discretely looked at Rina again and then down at her leg in such a way to gauge her reaction. He knew that thought of pushing her down, running his hand up her leg while kissing her, while pleasant, was not his. If it was not his it could only be hers, and while it pleased him no end that she was thinking these thoughts, just what did it mean?

He had read some very ancient text's that spoke of such things, but they were considered old wives tales. The stories in them could not be true, after all if they were it would mean a whole new chapter in the lives of Vampires.

Of course that was if the legend was true, and if the treasure could be found.

Rina looked over to him curiously as he coughed. "are you okay?" she questioned with concern. Of course she had no clue he had read her thought, other wise should would have been mortified and probably would have run.

"So do you have anything else planned for us this evening?" she questioned her eyes danced at the possibilities. She wasn't ready for the night to be over yet.
As she brushed her hand against his she thought about his hand caressing her bare ass. Her eyes widened and she blushed again. Where were these thoughts coming from?

"I'd like to dance again if you're up for it" she said smiling to him

His eyes almost burst out of his skull as the image of his hand caressing her bare ass blazed through his mind and he caught her blushing. Then he chuckled. Actually that had been very informative. If her ass did look like that he could not wait until he saw it in the flesh. Perhaps he could have a little fun with this.

Standing up he leaned down and offered her his hand and helped her to her feet again and then taking her a little bit away from the blanket he began to slow dance with her in a small circle. Then gently he let his hand begin to caress her ass softly in a circular motion like he had seen in her mind.

Oh sure it was through her dress but he wondered what her reaction would be or even if she would pick up on it.

Smiling she took his hand and rose to dance with him. She loved the feel of being so close to him. His hand seemly moved from her back to her bottom and he rubbed it in a circle like she had imagined he would on her bare butt.

Instead of saying anything she simply laid her head on his chest to hide her blushing and silently absorbed the sensation of his touch and the rising wetness that was growing between her thighs. Never, before him had she ever considered such thoughts. But everything with him was a new experience.

Her hand went over his back feeling the muscles through his shirt and slowly down to his but where she caressed it lightly.

He smiled as he felt her hand tentatively crawl down his back until she caressed his butt lightly. He pulled her head tighter against his chest as he ran his hand up and down her back, while his other continued to knead softly at her firm cheeks.

He still twirled her around slowly in a dance, although truthfully dancing was the last thing on his mind. Again he was starting to get firm but this time he was too far gone to worry. He only hoped the tightness of his pants kept it from digging into her belly too much.

Still he best end the dance quickly, before she became offended.

Being pressed so tightly against him gave her a feeling of belonging. It was slightly uncomfortable with his hardness pressed against her. Though she didn't say a word. How could she be offended that this man she was falling in love with, desired her in such a way? It was after all human.

She mirrored his kneeding of her ass with that of her own kneeding upon his firm globes. Her moves matched his as they slow danced. When he stopped the dance and stepped back she almost found herself stepping forward. "Thank you for a wonderful evening Phillip" she said softly looking into his eyes longingly.

"Oh it's not finished yet," he told her smiling back down at her.

Letting her go reluctantly but keeping hold of her hand, he led her back to their picnic and swiftly packed everything away until only the basket remained. Then he led her back to the path and gave a piercing whistle.

After a slight delay the sound of hoof beats could be heard again and he smiled knowing what she was expecting and the surprise he had in store for her.

"Oh?" she questioned pleasantly surprised. She hadn't been ready to say goodnight to him yet. She helped him clear up the picnic stuff and wrapped her arm around him as they walked back to the path and he whistled. Hearing the hoof-beats she anticipated that it would be the carriage coming to pick them up.

Out of the gloom appeared two horses. One jet black, and the other pure white. He knew she knew how to ride and was indeed a fine rider. There was someone riding the white horse but the black trotted along on his own and indeed had a regal bearing to him. Phillip almost shook his head. So he was showing off again.

As the horses came to a halt in front of them, the man who had been riding the mare dismounted and walked over and retrieved the basket then faded into the background. Turning to look at her he gestured to the mare. "So care to go riding with me My Lady? She is known as Moonbeam, and while she is a little temperamental I believe someone with your spirit should be able to handle her."

Walking over to the larger horse he stroked it's head as it nuzzled him in greeting. "And this big boy is ORPHEUS. He likes to think he is in charge of everything so be careful," he chuckled.

Again he looked at her and a smile brightened his face. "You have not lived until you have ridden at night with the moonlight shining down on you and the foggy mist clinging to your face. So what say you, are you up for a spot of adventure?"

Rina was indeed surprised when the horses came up instead of the carriage. She loved horses and riding. It never seemed like she had enough time to enjoy things like this. But time with Phillip had begun to open her eyes to a whole new world of what it felt like to live.

"They are gorgeous." she said with a genuine smile walking over to Moonbeam. She pet the horses muzzle and cooed to it. "Oh you are a good lass aren't you, i bet you like to run like the wind." she said to the horse.

Placing her foot in the stirrup she pulled herself on to Moonbeams back with ease. Answering his question if she would like to go on an adventure with him.

"You are just making our third date that much harder to beat" she teased

Phillip smiled as he easily swung himself onto the back of Orpheus. "I do like to set the bar high for myself. However we will just have to see if I can outdo myself. Still this date has yet to finish so shall we see what happens?"

Kicking his horse into an easy trot he headed out letting her catch up with him, then leading her around the riding track. He kept the pace easy for the first little bit until they got warmed up then moved them into a canter that simply ate up the ground.

Both horses seemed to glide over the ground and shake their heads as if to say, 'C'Mon, let's go faster.' However he knew this area was twisting and turning and was not suited to a full out run yet.

He looked over at her and smiled then pointed at a small hill that had appeared from the mists. They easily climbed it and as they crested it and started down a large open field appeared before them stretching out for a mile or so before the gardens began again.

"Fancy a sprint my dear? I assure you, it will be an experience you will never forget. Both of these horses can outrace the wind," he smiled.

Rina laughed as he started to trot and let her horse catch up with him quickly. The rode through the twists and turns until there was a straight length ahead of them. "Of course" she said giving her horse its rein and clicking with her tongue and she was off. He was right the horses did have speed and loved to run.

Of course he caught up quickly with her as they sprinted down the path until they had to slow because of more twists and turns. "I love this" she said gleefully as her eyes danced under the sparkling stars and moon.

She was close to saying 'and I love you' but didn't. There just simply was no way he would be able to top this date.

Phillip laughed as they rode and looked over at her. h delighted in her expression of joy but he was a little concerned. They were both having so much fun that he was having doubts he would be able to pull off the next date. Still he did have one last card to play and he just had to hope that it was enough.

As they slowed he guided her down a path and towards a small stable. The same man who had brought the horses to them was waiting as was the coach and as they reached it he dismounted and helped her off, then took her around her waist and walked her to the coach and helped her up and into it.

"Any time you wish to go riding just tell me," he said as he climbed in beside her and covered them with the blanket snuggling in close. "They both need the exercise and I am sure they would enjoy the run."

He indicated that the driver should set off.

Rina laughed. "oh that was so much fun" she said with a smile and her eyes dancing. "I will certainly keep that in mind. Horseback riding is one my passions, though I haven't had the opportunity to do so in a couple years."

She snuggled closely to him enjoying the warmth of his presence pressed against her. Closing her eyes for a moment she found herself drifting in and out of consciousness.

He looked down at her and feeling bold he wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her in close to him. As the carriage continued on it moved into a shadowed area and slowly he leaned down and tenderly dared to kiss her on the lips gently.

Smiling he then sat up and leaned back in the chair keeping his arm around her as the carriage made it's way back to the small cafe they called their own.

As it stopped he gently shook her awake. She had been drifting between awake and asleep all the way back and he was afraid he had taken advantage of the situation when he had kissed her.

"We are back Rina. Time for you to go home and for me to try and plan something truely spectacular for our third date."

Rina purred lightly with the corners of her mouth slightly turning up after he kissed her. She was dreaming of him, so it was certainly not a situation of him taking advantage.

When he gently woke her she looked up at him and smiled kissing him again, lightly the way he had done to her. "I will look forward to it" she said smiling as she allowed herself to be helped from the carriage.

Through the rooftops she had found her way home. She was just as careful as she had always been. Once in her apartment she took a quick shower and climbed into bed thinking of him. The way he felt pressed against her, the safty and security she felt in his arms, the way he brought a passion to her she had never known; all of these things causing her to smile and fall asleep.

The next couple of days passed without him, he had told her he needed time to prepare for date three. She did a number of little jobs to keep her mind occupied and off of him. The first day was easier then she thought it would be, the second a bit harder. She had become accustom to him in her life.

On the third day she received a message from him about their third date.

Phillip had been thinking and thinking for the whole first day about their next date. He knew it had to be spectacular, but something she would not expect. He discounted several ideas early. There was no use lavishing her with gifts. They both knew they could easily steal anything he could get her. He had thought about a midnight boat ride, but that was too much like their last date.

Finally he hit upon it. the one thing they both enjoyed above all else and he knew just what to look for.

He sent out word through all his contacts and just prayed he got the information in time.

It wasn't until the last moment that it came, and he had started to panic. Of course he had a back up target but it did not fit in with his plans. Smiling joyfully he packed everything they would need and set off in his car. he sent off a message to her by phone saying she should once again meet him at their cafe and to dress casual but bring her 'Work' clothes in a bag.

He wondered what she would think of that as a beginning to a date.

'hmm what an unusual request' she thought packing up her 'work' clothes in an over sized purse. Finding a casual dress in her closet that would be easy to change out of. She placed her hair upon her head and laced up her casual work boots.

She wasn't quite sure what he had planned, but knowing him it would be an experience she wouldn't soon forget.

Rina had been overjoyed to receive his note. Now on her way to the third and final date, she was overjoyed to be finally seeing him again. Two days had been way to long.

Phillip got out of the car and sat at a table on the sidewalk. He was sure he would not have long to wait. While he did he went over the plan again.

He had obtained the address of the scroll Rina wanted and had scoped the place out and obtained the blueprints and security details. It was heavily secured but nothing he had not broken into before, or had sent her into.

He knew exactly how they were to break in, where to avoid the security measures and where some may be hidden.

He also thought it might be fun for them to get there via the roofs. It was a beautiful night and truth to tell he had wanted to dance across the rooftops with her ever since he had followed her that night.

Rina strolled up to his table and smiled widely taking a seat across from him. "It has been too long" she said with a smirk. "What is it you have planned for our third date?"

Her eyes danced as she looked at him. She wanted nothing more then to be in his arms and kiss him with all of the passion he inspired with in her. "You have a mischievous look in your eyes Philip" she said teasing him.

"Are you sure this will top the other dates?" she grinned again. Rina new whatever it was she was going to enjoy it. If for no other reason then he was there.
