Might make me slightly tolerate the mess of snow in my yard to attempt something like that this weekend...

I'm smirking over the Baking List I've got going. Probably going to spend a good $50 on just baking supplies at Wegmans tonight, and giddy over it. I know some people hate cooking, but it helps calm me down. (Also smirking because I know he's going to be checking his mail daily for his take out of all this. :p)

They're really easy to make too. Just fill empty milk/yoghurt cartons with water and freeze them to make 'bricks' (either stand them up in your freezer or leave them outside if its cold enough where you live) then stand them around a candle and...ta daaaaa!!
 
oh Brit, I love these! Damn if the weather keeps here as it's been, I'll having a bash at those. Really gorgeous.!

Aren't they? One of the best things I've learnt how to make since moving over here...and they make quite an interesting table decoration too, if you have a tray with sides to deal with inevitable melting, you can lay a 'brick' down and put two or three nightlights behind it and voila...!

They're good to make with kids too because they last quite a long time and are relatively safe too...just as long as no one licks them ;)
 
Ok, I know I 'shouldn't ' smile....and I didn't...at first.
I felt an 'awe' moment at first for a second, then it turned into a smile.

Today I made tempura and tempura sushi for the first time and it came out perfect. I should do a victory dance. My maki rolls never come out perfect.
