Worry not, nothing was harmed apart from my dignity. Although I could feel his glare from across the room the whole session, and I fear he is plotting his vengeance right now. This is why I don't exercise.

The thing about corrections is that one tends not to ask for them. If one spots a mistake one's self one is likely to correct it one's self. But I meant no harm by it, and wish you well. It's just that those of us who don't live in USA! USA! USA! sometimes get a little tired of the America/Everywhere else in the whole world dichotomy.
(Oh - it's 'take offence at', not 'to'. Unless you meant to write 'a fence', which would be charmingly surreal in a Lewis Carroll sort of way.)
