I saw it, but tought you had just been momentarily posessed by Lewis Carol and were working on a new speech for the caterpillar. :p

Hmmm, it does kind of sound like something the Caterpillar would say. Maybe I'm in worse shape than I thought. Naw, nope, nada, I'm just rambling. :D

Is this post-birthday malaise?

How you doing, Texan?

I saw the second and was wondering how you pulled it out of my head. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

I'm doing pretty good actually. Been pretty busy getting the new Louisiana branch of the company up and running. Not to mention the editing and rewrites on the book. Everything is leveling out quicker than i figured so, yes, things are good.

As for this thread, I have a file where I store odds and ends thoughts. I'm clearing it out and where better to dump it than here among my friends. :D Some of it I find amusing but there are some serious questions mixed in. It also makes an interesting read as a complete piece.

:rose:

I've missed ya and our second story is still waiting patiently on gmail ;)

Kisses back -

I just sent you a PM loaded with excuses.

(Come to Chicago in March and punish me properly!)

Lets try something a little different

When you remember something from a past life, why is it always a good memory? Shouldn’t it be of something or somewhere that you screwed up royally, so you don’t make that mistake again?

Maybe that explains the time gaps between past lives. You have to go to a classroom somewhere and discuss all the screw-ups you made on the last trip through life. Oh, that should be fun, talk about your one-up-man-ship. My screw-ups are better than your screw ups.

Is the conscience the place where this knowledge is stored and that’s why it bothers you? “Hey, stupid, you screwed this up last time and here we go again.”

Maybe you can’t remember all that came before because there are tests along the way to see if you were truly paying attention or not. If people could remember everything then how many suicides would we have from people losing all hope?

Is suicide a short cut to the next life and is there a penalty for taking it? This would make life like playing a video game with only a save at the end. If you leave early, you have to start from the beginning. Boy that would suck, if where I’m at now is supposed to be advanced, what is the beginning like?

Now thats what I like to see on the AH boards!

A question that needs a story to explain the different angles of a thought.
Am I the only one who looked at Tex's ramblings as a cry for help to generate a story of lasting value in this swamp of Smut?

Hey, I like our little swamp of smut. :D

How did he know I was doing a swamp story? *Checks lock on story cabinet*

It is a pretty good plot bunny for an afterlife story.

I think the cry for help you heard was the nubile lass currently cuffed and waiting in Tex's bed.

She's only crying for help because he isn't there yet.

;)

It is a pretty good plot bunny for an afterlife story.

Like a guy that finds he is reincarnated and uses Fungshui to pattern his life/

He keep all his socks in one drawer right next to his .357 and carton of emergancy condoms?

Who is the interuder in his bedroom, does he need the S&W or the Trojan Vibrator or just a clean pair of socks?

Call it "Swamp Wallowing"

Or a Swamp rat that find a book on FungShie and decided to rearrange his shack.

This has the unanticipated concequence of attracting the swamp spirits who in turn attract the Tulane "Ghost Buster, reserachers who include a lovely pair of "Grad Strudents" under the Proff who is having sex with the Spirits while the Swanp rat has sex with the 'Grad Stu's'

Swamp Rat becomes tele-evangelist and Proff is draged off into the dark dismal swamp. Grad Stu's get pregnant and give birth to ????

How's that for a bunny?

This thread grows more interesting by the minute. :D

I'll have to do this more often.
