I was reading about tilted uterus's in another thread and had a couple of questions about sex with this "condition".
Does it give you less options for sex? Position wise I mean. I've been with someone who has this and she said doggie style was out of the question, she said it hurt too much. But if it's tilted and further back, wouldn't you be able to go deeper? Thanks for any replies.

I don't think a tilted uterus would effect positions that much, it certainly doesn't for my wife. I can't say for sure, but I can't think of any reason why it would, especially doggie style. I suppose if it were tilted a different direction it might move other things around to make that position painful.

Damn there's just too much going on in there.

Depends, I guess on what is meant when she says she has tilted uterus....does she mean "retroverted"?

If that's her condition, then yes, she could experience pain associated with sex in certain positions....in my case, I found estremely nasty lower back pain the biggest issue. That sort of pain can be a most efficient form of contraceptive known to man. Who wants to have sex that is painful?

A little communication with the SO went a long way...deep thrusting penetration in certain positions was going to hurt, so that sort of action was saved for other angles where he could go his hardest and we both enjoyed it!

Talk to her about what works best for her so that you both enjoy it!

;)

I have a tilted uterus.

Only thing I noticed is very deep penetration hurts.

But that could be the same for anyone.

I have a retroverted one too, but generally think any pain with deep thrusting has been caused by hitting my cervix. Now that I think about it, I've had some lower back-ish pain when inserting tampons and toys used at a more back/down angle, but not much more than that. I'm guessing pain could depend highly on the length and angle of the penis, too, so even if it hurt with one person, I wouldn't rule trying it out with another.

Doctors suggest women with pain get checked thoroughly for other conditions (such as PID and endometriosis) that can cause a retroverted uterus and/or pain, and to switch positions if one hurts.
