Time to revisit an old Democrat Anti-War Meme

The let's go shoot up fucking Detroit because al Qaeda isn't a nation it's a religious movement which plays well with the racists who followed Black Liberation Theology and its teachings about the evils of racist white Amerikkka.
Holy crap, man. You've actually hit the nail squarely on the head. Too bad Political Correctness allows one of those wars but not the other.

never mind that Pelosi said McChrystal " went outside the chain of command "

SUPPORT THE TROOPS BRING THEM HOME NOW

Do you think that McChrystal went outside the chain of command?

Do you even know what the chain of command is from McChrystal to the White House?

AJ and/or Vetteman, you might want to help your fellow wingnut here.

he embarrassed the white house... nancy's modus operandi is to attack the messenger for doing so
mission accomplished

Keep pretending that we're in Afghanistan for the same reasons we were in Iraq. You know that we aren't Cap'n Disingenuous, although you would never admit to this, probably not even to yourself.

Afghanistan is the place we should have been all along. Fighting against those who were actually responsible for the attacks on 9/11. Instead of announcing victory there and then declaring Iraq the central front in the "War on Terror™" and diverting nearly all resources there while the Taliban crept right back into the void left in Afghanistan.. It's funny though, to hear those who were more than willing to stay in Iraq indefinitely now lamenting the fact that we aren't out of Afghanistan now.

To use the meme's of the "right":
Why is it you think that our military is incapable of victory? Why don't you support the troops? Why do you hate America?

Why are you such a moron? The 9/11 hijackers, 15 were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt and one from Lebanon. Seems we are fighting in the wrong countries.

And anyway, that's gone by the wayside because Dear Leader is at war with the Taliban, who, btw, ARE IN PAKISTAN TOO!

Al qaeda isn't a religious movement. It's a terrorist group using religion as justification. They don't have a unique religious viewpoint.

We are not at war with the Taliban either. Of course, if you can find a declaration of war against them I would be more than happy to admit I was wrong.

That you are calling anyone else a moron is just too damn funny. Especially in the same post that you expose your own stupidity.

But it is entertaining. :D

Do you think that McChrystal went outside the chain of command?

No he did not. Going outsaide of the CoC is not the same as stating an opinion.

Do you even know what the chain of command is from McChrystal to the White House?

Hey dumb ass did you know that Gen. McChrystal under CENTCOM? That means his Chain of Command starts with Gen Petraeus not the fool in the White House. Next time you take a break from sucking Obamas cock read up on the command structure will ya.

AJ and/or Vetteman, you might want to help your fellow wingnut here.

Why your mother did not embrace the liberal idea of abortion when she was knocked up with you is beyond me.

Asswipe, the chain of command was my entire point. Doofus seemed to infer that McChrystal reported directly to the President. That's not true, like you said McChrystal reports to Petrateus who reports directly to the Secretary of Defense. That's two levels between McChrystal and Obama, and a subordinate two levels down playing political games by leaking reports is insubordination, plain and simple.

*Note to self: add Monkey Face's kids to nightly cancer prayers*

Of course you know, that MonkeyFootball just mopped the floor with you....:D

Edited to add....your hidden "cancer for kids" in your reply to MonkeyFootball is about as low as one can go.

Which is why all the "OMG HOW COME OBAMA WON'T TALK TO McCHRYSTAL??" whining was so idiotic. Obama talks to McChrystal's superior, Petraeus, all the damn time.

I was a young Democrat when first I learned to chant...

Hey hey, ho ho
Obama's got to go!
Hey hey, ho ho...

You see, we rw wingnut hypocrites are true Patriots because we support the troops, but not the mission...

Our Pres__ent, with no id, uh..., is going to get your soldiers killed as well as ours while he fights the "right war." He's talked himself into a box with his big talk about taking our eye off the ball and "getting" bin Laden, meanwhile, here at home CODE PINK and Cindy Sheehan are still kickin' and protestin' and hating all war under any leader, dear or hated...

Obama's got to go,
Hey hey, ho ho...

Do you actually believe anything yourself? Seriously, for someone to up and admit that their posts about Afghanistan are based on nothing more than a desire to get revenge on political opponents at home is incredibly childish.

Well slobdownsouth is as low as you can get.

Well look who showed up after big bad KRCummings left! Still haven't answered her over in the Michael Savage Weiner thread, I noticed.

Well slobdownsouth is as low as you can get.

Ah, the unemployed and unemployable conservitard Koalabear offers up one of his increasingly frequent "shit-n-run" one liners. You'll never be Miles, Koalabore, try as you might....

He did go outside of the chain of command, about which you have demonstrated a decided lack of knowledge.

By leaking a report whoever it was did much more than that. But then the "right" doesn't seem to mind leaking confidential materials when it suits their purpose do they?

If you weren't so immeasurably dense you would realize that by supporting McChrystal in this you're both advocating for more troops to be sent to Afghanistan and for them to be brought home now. In your zeal to attack the President you lost sight of what exactly it was you were defending.

Your petty partisan slip is showing Gladys.

Now, you are splitting hairs to the extreme, it is a war of religious submission.

I'm not the one saying we're at war with them, your president is saying that. He's said in many speeches that he was going to defeat the Taliban and I've been, for months now, patiently pointing out that the Taliban are not Al Qaeda, they are native, they defeated Alexander, the British, and the Russians and they're going to defeat us too. Karzai wants to negotiate with then and cut a deal with them. Obama has said, we're going to talk to our enemies, hell he's even letting Iran nuke up because he believes he can talk to the Muslim world, so why won't he talk to the Taliban?

I say, it was his campaign rhetoric, that mindless tribal chanting and simplistic sloganeering about the right war and the wrong war because he didn't want to look like McGovern and Dukakis, he was going to be tough, and now all that tough talk has put him into a corner of his own painting...

Do you actually believe anything yourself? Seriously, for someone to up and admit that their posts about Afghanistan are based on nothing more than a desire to get revenge on political opponents at home is incredibly childish.

What the fuck do you think the precedent for that might be even if it was true, which it is not.

The precedent I follow is a historical precedent. If Obama want to go after al Qaeda, fine, I back that, but trying to take out the Taliban has stirred up a hornet's nest that has two possible outcomes, genocide of the hill people, or the defeat of our military hamstrung by what the hell will the world think of us if we truly defeat the Taliban because you're going to have to kill a helluva lot of "innocents."

What's the objective?

Where's the needed timeline?

Where are the necessary benchmarks?

What the fuck is the definition of "Mission Accomplished?"

You guys determined this to be the right war, do you have a clue to the right tactic?
...

If the Democrats had a point other than defeating their political enemies at home, then they need to be consistent and insistent that the Obama Administration be as answerable to the above questions as demanded of the Bush Administration.

I think that's pretty clear, and if the Democrats don't then there's more than adequate cause to demand the removal of Democrats from office during next year's elections for playing politics with war and our soldiers' lives.

From what we can tell, he was not a serious student, but rather a glib and politically astute observer, who rode affirmative action, identity politics, and campus trends (I am now gleaning this from his own autobiography) right through Occidental and Columbia to Harvard Law—without much scholarship. He was given much more attention at Chicago Law School for what he represented than what he accomplished. He arrogantly thought he could glide into the racist cauldron of Trinity Church, and glide out as an authentic African-American organizer of the Jesse Jackson sort.

His Senate career was similar—long on soaring rhetoric, in perpetual campaign mode, predicated on white liberal guilt and ease with a charismatic “other”—and short on actual accomplishment.

For the sake of consistency and applying the precedent fairly, four more soldiers gave their lives today for a mission no one can define other than in vague terms like, we're going to defeat the Taliban under a leader who's hesitant to use terms like "win" and "victory..."

It's easier for us to fight in Iraq.
