Today I .........

Today I wish I could afford a new car. But then again, I haven't had a car payment in several years and the one I have serves its purpose just fine. Perhaps in two more years when I will actually need one rather than want one.

Congrats MR!

thanks sweetie. Was very concerned about my job as Jan and feb were very very slow. The GM wanted me gone but one of the salesmanagers fought for me. And today they complimented me on my change of attitude. Wish I knew what is was from. Maybe realizing if I do not do it for me no one else will. Besides I have some monetary goals I need to hit beofre the end of the year.

Well I wish you luck (how appropriate, to wish you this on the day of wishing to have the luck of the Irish) for the rest of the year and that you meet those goals. Give it everything you've got--you can do it!

:) Congrates MR.... Happy for you!

Today I opened up a fortune cookie and it read...

"Carve your name on your heart and not on marble."

Today I also say Happy St. Patrick's Day... well what is left of it! ;)

I will and do it with every ounce of determination I have in me. I will do this alone and for Jim.

had a wonderful phone call from a friend I haven't actually talked to for a long time.

Those are always good. :) Happy for you Fagin.

Today I say Happy Friday to all the Todayers! :cattail:

Today was my first day in my new unit. I had to be at work at 7 am, which wouldn't have been a problem had it not been a SATURDAY! :p

Today I....

... heard that Bandits father passed away this morning.

Love and prayers to you, sweet lady, stay strong.

:rose:

Today I celebrate my feast day....St. Joseph THE WORKER (everyone should wear red{thongs} and eat lots of Italian food) :)

Today I went for the first time in my life into a museum in my hometown and saw the original of my favourite painting.

I dont know why I never did it before. it is so much nicer in real, and way larger than I imagined.

Today you remind me of seeing a Monet at my museum for the first time. It was emotionally overwhelming, tears ran down my face as I viewed it's beauty closeup. I went to the Monet exhibit again a few weeks later and had the same reaction.

Today I'm sorry to hear Den has a spliting headache.....I know the feeling....they can be a put down can't they.....I take it no hike today? Hope your feeling better now..... :rose:

Why is it that we often don't visit the sites in our own home towns? I love museums and usually try to visit several every year.

Hi Denae, how's everything with you?

Hi Denae, how's everything with you?

Today I'm guilty--I've lived in Arizona since '98 and have yet to visit the Grand Canyon. My excuse is that I want to experience it with my best friend and she wasn't here long enough on her first visit for us to make it there.

Things are good with me--including work if you can believe it or not.

I definitely killed the Coleus plant-it lasted less than a month. I'm still waiting for you to tell me how I did it. :)

Is your school on spring break now?

Yes, I'm on break until the 29th.

I can believe you killed the coleus......I've killed a few too. I think you should stick to silk plants. They never die. :D

I'm thinking silk plants will be the only type I buy from now on. My friend made me feel better about it when she told me that she's killed a cactus. Really, how do you kill a cactus?

Today I received my Homicide DVD set (seasons 1-5) :nana: :nana: :nana:
