Today I .........

Today I kicked ass and I was called a "goddess" by an appreciative superior for staying overtime in order finish a last-minute project that had to get out tonight.

Today was brutal; being called a "goddess" makes it worthwhile.

I agree with JG... you are and have always been a "goddess" in my book too.

Today I have to tell JG and TG that it takes one to know one. :D :rose:

Have a good holiday weekend everyone

Today I came this close to making a Canadian Club latte.

*note to self, separate the coffee syrups from the whiskey in the cabinet*

Today I spent almost the entire day (it isn't over yet in the West Coast ;) ) waiting for my landlord to come fix my front door......*it won't shut* still waiting...........*sigh*

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! :)

Today I went to see "The Longest Yard" and recommend it to everyone. It had the wife and me cracking up in the aisles.

Today I want to say thank you to my special friends. Each of you has touched me in a way that warms my heart and comforts me in trying times.

I have been fortunate to find such wonderful people and I am proud to call each of you my friend.

....vacuumed the cat, changed the litterbox, paid the bills, and unclogged the drains

Called the accountant, paid the car insurance, sent the kids off to school and opened my daycare. Wooohooo.. big day for me..

Today I...

went to walmart with my daughter and it was storming out. The lights kept going out, then all of a sudden people were screaming and running towards the back of the store, climbing over each other at the registers trying to get back. I honestly thought someone had a gun or something, but then someone yelled 'Tornado!' and we all ran into the back of the store, where the employees go. When we came out the parking lot was full of construction equipment from next door, and debris and snapped trees. Cars were moved all over the place. The roads were flooded and power was out and paramedics all over...what an experience.

thank you babydoll :)

It was a first for me...dont think I want to do it again lol.

Today I had a pretty easy day at work. Lots of breakdowns on the line, but none that I was responsible for fixing.

Other peoples' breakdowns = lots of ass-time for me :)
