Today I went to a haunted house with a group of my coworkers. I thought it was so stupid to pay people to scare me, something I don't consider entertainment. I was so wrong. I had a ball, more because I was with a bunch of people and could see their reactions than anything!

Today I learned that my little brother has run off and joined the Army. My feelings are mixed about it. On one hand I'm so damn proud of him, being an American serviceman is an Honor. On the other hand, however, I'm scared to death for his safety given the current state of world events.

My son did the same thing. I was a bit upset, but I didn't tell him. The army really changed the boy into a man.

Today I'm glad I revisited this thread. Can't wait to try french toast with vanilla. I usually sprinkle some cinnamon in the batter....so now I'll try with some vanilla, sounds yummy.
