Today is the third day of peace and quiet since noisy neighbors (finally!) moved away.... it's a little surreal but very welcome.
And today I've felt like there's a change coming in my life. I don't know what but I'm on the verge of it. I can feel it.

Today I had a dirty old man grope my breast as I was taking his blood pressure. It was a blatant act of misconduct on his part; it was NO accident. If I could have bitch slapped him, I would have. GROSS!

Today I conquered my fear and drew my first ever vial of blood; as a nursing student, being afraid of venopunctures isn't a good thing.
But, not only am I so proud of myself for doing it, I'm even prouder of my brave volunteer....my 8 yr old son, K, who said it didn't hurt at all. I love you Angel~Baby

Today I was stopped for walking into a secure complex (where I work) carrying a backpack during "Alert Level: Severe". At least I know they finally got the security camera systems working. When I left yesterday it was still "Elevated" and recently dropped from "High".
