Made a mad dash around my house, changing out of my pjs...into real clothes and tidying up the house because I got a call that some friends were "popping by." I rushed, to and fro and then they didn't show up for an hour...figures, lol!

Today I slept in after a looooooooooong conversation with Cheesecake Kim. She lives in New York and we managed to count down to New Years in our respective time zones with a couple of hours surrounding either side. I usually hate being on the phone that long, but it was like sitting together in the same room and reminiscing about old times, New Years' celebrations of long ago, and everyday stuff. You'd think after knowing her for more than 20 years that there wouldn't be anything new to learn, but there is. Thank goodness that neither of us have stagnated and stopped growing.
