What color will you paint your nails and toes today?

Ya know, I"ve thoguht about getting a manicure... love the thought of someone massaging my hands and fingers... dang tendanitis. :(

Today,I went to salon,color/cut my hair,foot spa,pedicure and manicure..it was good and relaxing ;)

Today the air conditioning in my car decided to jump ship. I think the camel's back has finally been broken.

Today I toredown the A/V at Pittsburgh Steeler's Headquaters (The Pontiac Centerpoint Marriott)... I Got to send them off and wish them luck(I was no more than 3 feet away from them as they walked past the gauntlet of hotel managers and staff to their bus. (Evidently the night before the big game they leave their families at the main hotel and spend the night together at a secret location away from the crowds and the media. This probably prevents them from having any pre superbowl whoopie)

The hotel was a madhouse...FBI, Homeland Security...tons of NFL and Steelers staff, the press...wow. I had to have an FBI background check just to beable to go help out there, I had to wear like a secret service pin to be able to move through the hotel without a security escort...

(My non ministerial day job is the director of audio/visual services for company that handles the meeting support for several hotels, my collegue is the director there and the team and families have been there all week...Tonight the families have a big party...and tomorrow the hotel will host the 3000 person victory/defeat party).

I got some cool swag...not the kind that anyone cares about, like the steeler's 2005 staff directory, Dan Rooney (Steerler's Owner) memopad, media guide, A thick Steeler's pocket notebook that the coaches use to make notes during the game...

Just watching the behind the scenes stuff witht he Steeler's staff was fascinating, like as the team came down the gauntlet someone collected their car keys from them...odd little things like that...fascinating stuff to watch...

memories of Jesse

Today I had a fun memory of Jesse. I passed a yellow Mustang on the freeway and was reminded of his. Jesse taught me how to drive a stick-shift in that car. I will never forget you Jess and I know you'll never stop watching over me. :rose:

Today I walked into my loft (where I live alone btw) and found a futon couch had magically appeared in it

... 'slept in' till 6;30... well, after waking up at 1;30 and being up till about 2;30 with a raging hard-on, but that's a topic for another thread. ;)

Today I was awakened at 6:30 AM by the rantings of my mentally ill neighbor, who was marching up and down the street screaming at the top of his lungs.

When I went back to sleep I slept until 11:30!

Definitely sleepeless! But I made up for it.

Since I (finally) woke up I've been mundane too: cleaning, doing bills, etc.

Sometimes mundane is a necessity, eh Fathom?

Have a great day.

Today I say thanks for the smile amongst all the mundane. ;)

Most welcome. Now if we can just find the key to the neighbor's house -- we could really do something wild. Liek rearrange the furniture while they're asleep -- drives crazy people crazy.

:D

I'd say that would be well deserved. Since he drives me crazy, the term "turnabout is fair play" comes to mind! ;)

Speakign of turnabout . . . . Ah well -- let me just leave that out for now.

You could always just go over and ring the doorbell and then hide. (There's some other stuff too that involves dogs and paper bags and matches but we needn't go into that right now. Just the ringing of the doorbell will suffice.
