today i found out just how much my friends love me
one has offered to lend me the air fare to Thailand
one has given me lots of travel advice
one has looked at changing his travel plans to fly with me because he knows i'm terrified of flying

Today I worked on writing and editing my new story while at work.
Today I also found out that my newest story was posted and that people believe there will be a part 3. (there's not)
Today I FINALLY got all the information necessary so I can make my trip on Saturday to relocate a field office. One would have thought I was asking for nuclear launch codes with as little communication I had been receiving.

Today I...
found out I am no longer a candidate for the new position where I work.
told myself, "Fuck It", when I learned of this and decided that I would leave at the earliest opportunity.
worked on an assignment for class and continued to write and edit my newest story while at work.
finalized my plans for the office relocation I'm taking care of tomorrow.
got a large batch of leftover Christmas cookies and cakes when I stopped by my parents.

Today I...
drove to the southeast corner of the state and worked my butt off relocating equipment from the old office to the new office. Now I wait to see if I contracted the hanta virus doing so.
wasn't able to do anywhere near the updating of said equipment that I had wanted to do.
went grocery shopping so late (how late was it?), they were putting out the specials for the new week and changing the price tags.
