Top Lists - how frequently do they update?

At least daily, I can see that, but does the data refresh run more frequently?

I believe they update once per day, sometime in the early morning, Pacific time.

Yes, I've seen a daily update, but with different time zones, it's tricky to tell exactly when.

The site slows down massively around 12pm -> 1pm GMT, that's probably when the daily jobs run.

I don't know, but to get an idea of how volatile the rankings are, with 3 votes in the last two days, Isabel jumped from #17 to #10 on the Novels and Novellas all time Top List.

That's the weird thing, my story has had no votes this week, so no change in score, but has moved over five days from 50 to 40, then to 41, 39, and today: 37. Which means it's the stories higher up that are moving around (most of them chapters from four or five multi-chapter stories - no surprise there).

I have no idea how long it's been in that list - Fetish all time top - one of Simon's posts sent me off on a curiosity look five days ago, but now I know where all the recent traffic has come from.

I am currently reading that one. It is on my list of ones to read, and I catch a couple of pages at a time. Haven't finished or rated yet, though
