But I believe in a great spiritual force at work in our universe... a God whether it be human, alien or just another dimensional intelligence. I'm open minded and I do think about it a lot.

Religious teachings are hard to dismiss being a Roman Catholic. But I'm also curious.

I have studied these aspects of astrology... scientifically. So far I agree with many researchers... there is no strong links between a persons star sign and their dates of birth in relationship to the stars and planets...

Psychologically, people tend to believe in these links and they are convinced there is a connection. From the outside looking in... I find no proof personally.

In the 1950’s French statistician Michel Gauquelin set out to disprove the claims of astrologers. Working with sophisticated statistical methods, he soon uncovered correlations between planets and professions that were inexplicable by any means other than astrology. Most renowned is his study of 25,000 sports champions and the strong position of Mars in their personal horoscopes—a position that astrologers would have predicted. Respected psychology researcher Hans Eysenck has said, "The Gauquelin work stands up to a careful degree of scrutiny and compares favorably with the best that has been done in psychology, psychiatry, sociology, or any of the social sciences." The studies have been independently replicated.

Plastic surgeons in India do not operate during full moons (the demand for blood transfusions is highest at the full moon and two days after) and they postpone all surgery when the moon is waning. It is considered simply proper medical procedure.

There are many study groups... they don't always agree and so far, the findings find no links using up to date methods of research, which studies high numbers of people and social groups world wide.

There is a lot of arguments regarding these studies as always... some in favour of links and others not so convinced.

Again... a lot of superstition enters into the professional social groups. They take no chances, convinced there maybe links. However, people are influenced by such established superstitions.

Even researchers themselves have hidden beliefs, based again on uncertainty and this tends to influence opinion. It is hard to remain neutral as in the realms of religion... people will still be curious about their beliefs and fact...

We are human, and even I still stick to my spiritual beliefs, even if there is no factual evidence... as yet.
