On the subject of Muslims you can actually see the difference pretty clearly between European (especially French) Muslims and Muslims in the US. Here we pretty much integrate them, it's not perfect no, but they aren't heavily discriminated against. Result? Attacks are few and far between, hell our radicals lately have been self deporting to kill other Muslims. That's how cool they are with us over all. France. . .well not so great.
I'm sure there ARE people who have been killed over religion. But in the real world if the fear of and faith in Allah weren't something to rally behind for a fight there would be no middle eastern conflict....we could do battle though bidnizz like civilized beings and make some money.

Because religion........like it or not religion has historically played a pivotal role in making most wars happen on some level and a pretty decent chunk of them in the past few hundred years. If you were to classify political ideology as a religion, and I've read some compelling arguments on both sides of that POV, it would pretty much mop up the rest of the field.

I gaurantee you if religion were completely destroyed tomorrow with no trace left behind the Trekkies would declare war on the Jedi who would ally with the PC Master Race against the lowly Console users. Joe Montana, hallowed by thy name, would lead all the Football clubs to destroy those David Beckham fuckers who don't understand that football is played with your hands.
It would take us at most five years to figure out our new team alliances and get back to the same problems.

I promise you if American unemployment was at or near 0% (like it was say during the World Wars when we invited Mexicans in) and companies were literally fighting for employees. I mean straight up you walk into Wal-Mart for your job and there's a guy from Target in the parking lot "hey man, I'll pay you $30 an hour if you quit right now and come with me." style that we'd be like
Mexicans? Where? I don't see them anywhere. The race is an easy way to single out a group but the issue is a huge chunk of Americans don't have the amount of money they feel they rate.

You are on about ACTUAL causes of war....poverty, ignorance, fear mongering on the part of some asshole (this is where religion LOVES to make it's grand appearance), disease, racism etc.
